“Good for a winter break.”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

My husband and I went here in December and found it good. We'd seen the pics so knew it was a hotel that had been modernised and we thought they'd done a good job. It is very clean and well looked after and our room was light and had a little kitchen and balcony to sit out on. The pools are nice too and kept spotless. The area is ok. A bit busy and noisy but not that bad either. The staff are nice and polite and helped us with local info.

Located not too far away from beach and restaurants but in a noisy part, surrounded by heavy traffic which might disturb you. Basic room standard (official 4 star but in reality average 3-star) though the hotel is totally renovated some few years ago. Will try another 4-star next time in Playa de las Americas, Tenerife.

Nice renovated rooms and pool / restaurant area. Building itself is older and it can be seen in many places. Pictures give too luxurious picture of the hotel. Nevertheless hotel was clean, rooms were nice and service good. We were very satisfied withbour stay eventhou we expected little more luxus.

My partner and I stayed here in June 2012. We're in our early 20s and thought this hotel was amazing! The decor was very nice just like IKEA. The rooms and en suits were lovely and kept very clean. We were even given robes to use throughout our stay. The staff were always polite and helpful too. The pool area was emaculate and so pieceful throughout the day, some mornings a lady did water aerobics for anyone who wanted to join. And you could always go onto the rooftop to enjoy the sun. We didnt have any spa expirences but they looked good and not too expensive but we found it was so relaxing round the pool we couldnt move. I would defiantly go all inclusive the food was delicious and I'm a fussy eater but always found something to eat as each night there's a different theme of food like Italian Chinese and Mexican. Plus throughout the day there's always a nipple of pizza, chips and burgers and ice cream. There was plenty to drink too including some nice cocktails. The location was great as its out the way of noise but close enough to walk to Veronica's strip if you fancy a few drinks and a boogie or nice stroll along the beach or even a bit of retail therapy. We are planning to book our holiday here again as it was so lovely. Defiantly recommend this hotel to any couples.

We chose this hotel as a part of our Tjareborg (Finnish Ving/Spies) holiday package and were a little nervous about spending an entire week in a 3-star hotel with mixed reviews on tripadvisor. Boy, were we wrong about it! The hotel was more of a 4-star hotel judging by the lobby, rooms and facilities. We were greeted at the reception with a glass of cold champagne and even had a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. We decided not to pay for the better view and stayed at the cheapest room with the view on another hotel. Yes we could hear the bins being emptied in the morning, but we were normally already up so it didn't bother us. And besides with the balcony door shut you cannot really hear a thing!
Now to the breakfast. It was amazing, especially considering 3-star rating. Extensive choice of both hot and cold dishes. Excellent tasty options for everyone, better than you can get in 5-star Scandinavian hotels. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, salmon, breads and bakery - you name it. We were very happy and couldn't wait for the breakfast every morning.
We never ate lunch at the hotel but we had a 5-dinner package so we had dinner at the hotel 5 days out of 7. The food was excellent, tasty and very well presented. The package also included 2 glasses of wine, water and coffee with every meal. I cannot recommend this package enogh. Great value for money.
We also had New Year dinner at the hotel. It was 60 euro per person and was well worth it.
We used the spa facilities and they were amazing. Massages were heavenly and jacuzzi was a lot of fun. Not many people there even though the hotel was packed.
Of course there were no expensive toiletries in the bathroom, but I don't care about that and always bring my own skincare anyway. You also had to take off the sheets from bed if you wanted them to be changed, but it was no bother and we got our bedding changed whenever we felt like it. You also have to pay a small fee if you wish to change the beach towel and there are no laundromats at the hotel to wash you clothes.
The internet is super fast and free you just need to get your login details at the reception.
If we ever travel to Tenerife again, I would definetely stay here.

Room Tip: Don't pay extra for pool view.

Best winter Sunprime Ving/Spies has to offer. Short distance to both beach/shopping/restaurants and bars. Though the breakfast could be more extravagant , and the dinner buffet was a bit boring, the atmosphere was really good and relaxing. The instructors at the gym really made us work, and Daniel in the Prime Restaurant put a smile on our faces every morning! Rooms clean and tidy, and rooftop terrace really nice!

We looked for a luxury four star hotel for our one week stay in Tenerife. Our travel agent (Spies) rates the hotel a "4+" star hotel, but actually it is a three star hotel. This is somewhat misleading, and we later found out that the four stars is an internal travel agent rating. However, the hotel probably cannot be blaimed for this.

In spite of this we were all in all really satisfied with the hotel. Really nice pool area which was not overcrowded, lots of fitness activity possbilities and nice clean room. On the minus side is smoking being allowed at the pool, and as our room was placed low on the front road-side of the hotel, there was some traffic noise, when the balcony door was open. We were satisfied with the hotel breakfast, but would otherwise not recommend eating at the hotel restaurant. As the hotel name says the hotel has som spa facilities, but this is not open for all guests as you have the pay for these extra facilities.

Room Tip: Rooms low on the road-side may be noisy because of traffic
