We spent 7 nights on the 27th April at this hotel. After looking at other reviews we can only agree that the hotel could do with some refurbishment where carpets were concerned, as it did look a little tired. We had the all inclusive option and found it excellent if you wanted branded spirits you could have them. The staff work very hard and we found it a very friendly hotel. Our room was nice and spacious as well as the bathroom. We had a standard room which location wise it did overlook the pool but you could not see the pool as the large dinining room was just below us. I dont think I would have liked a room that was on the main road. I requested a quiet room and thats what we got. The food in the restaurant was very varied and lots of it to choose from you could always find something that you like. The pool area was nice and clean and lunchtimes if you did not want to eat in the dining room there is a bbq cooking burgers, sausages and chips. In the afternoons behind the outdoor bar there was a selection of cakes and pastries as well. The hotel is located approx 10 mins from the beach en route to the beach there are a couple of nice bars/restaurants. For value for money I would recommend this hotel especially for its friendliness, if your a lone traveller this would be a hotel you would feel comfortable in.

Room Tip: If your only booking a standard room ask for a quiet room so that you are not facing the main road.

Just back from a fantastic holiday with Thomas Cook to this wonderful hotel. Nothing too much trouble for the staff and they are all happy and friendly, gourmet food and drinks and rooms top class. Entertainment staff are so brilliant at what they do and they make everyone feel welcome whatever your nationality. They work so hard and never forget a face during your stay. Will definitely return but for longer next time. Good value

Room Tip: Choose a high floor. Smile at the staff and they will smile back

This is the best Iberostar hotel we have stayed in so far! Returned home today after a 5 night stay. Cannot fault a single thing about this hotel. I have walking problems yet the hotel, grounds and distance to shops and sea all problem free. The room perfect. Food choices enormous, impossible to fault the taste, appearance or quantity, unlike lots other hotels I did not notice left over meats recycled much! All the staff from the management to the cleaners all very friendly and so happy, they work hard to ensure you have a good holiday. The area around the hotel is beautiful, I will miss our daily walks to the beach and to see the lizards, it was a great break and we would love to return soon if possible or we win the lottery, just GO and enjoy your hol at this lovely friendly hotel.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked both the sea and pool. not noisy at all but no sun at any time, was no. 624, we...

We, 4 adults, travelled to Tenerife at the beginning of March 2012. We were delayed by 6 hours at Glasgow airport by aThomas Cook flight. When we arrived in Tenerife, it was nightfall and as we went to our rooms in Iberostar Las Dalias, it looked like something from "Prisoner Cell Block H!" Yes it is a bit tired looking but our rooms were big, very clean and the balconies were huge. The sun hit our balconies early morning and left late afternoon. The Management team gave us champagne and big baskets of fruit for our delay which was not their fault (we had missed our evening meal too). We are still awaiting some response from Thomas Cook! Our holiday in Iberostar Las Dalias was great - the staff were very happy in their work and could not do enough for their customers. The food was very good if a bit repetitive but plenty of choice. The chefs cooked our fish and meat to our specifications. Drink was plentiful and of a good quality. We really enjoyed our stay at Las Dalias - very restful, and would recommend this hotel to others.

Room Tip: We were in rooms 345 approx. with very big balconies and sun streaming in in March. Others were com...

We stayed for week at this hotel arriving at 1am on Sat 5th May on an all inclusive basis.
We took a taxi from the Airport which cost 25 Euro and took under 30 mins to get to the hotel. When we arrived we were offered a glass of cava or orange juice whilst checking in. After checking in we were offered some sandwiches and some bottled water as we had missed our evening meal.
Room
Our first room was on the 7th floor, room 726. It had a double bed, and a small balcony which had a table and chairs on it. The balcony did not get much sun at any point of the day. The TV was small, but had a good selection of english TV channels inc BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV, ITV 4+1, C4, Sky news and film 4. It had a pool view. The only downside to this room was the amount of noise that could be heard from the entertainment in the evening. It was very loud. As a result of this noise we asked to be moved. We were offered a choice of 3 different rooms, 2 of which were on the the same side of the hotel, which didn't really help!! One of the rooms we were offered was on the 3rd floor had a really big balcony with it's own sun loungers, as well as a table and chairs which tempted us but we turned it down because of the noise. We eventually took room 440, this room overlooked the San Eugino shopping center, and a main road. This room was slightly smaller, but was a lot quieter and still had a double bed ( although the sheets didn't seem to fit it very well!) The floor in this room was laminated and the bed kept sliding bout everytime we sat on it.
In both rooms the maid serivce was really good, with towles changed daily.
Tea and coffee making facilites are not included in the room, but they can be purchased for an extra 19 Euro per week! (make your own mind up about this!)
All inclusive option/food/drinks
We were all inclusive, this is the first time we have done this in Tenerife. I thought that this was good value for money. Breakfast was served until 10am, then there was a continental breaksfast from 10am-1pm. Lunch ws 1-3, then sandwhiches and cakes wewre served 3-6 then dinner was served until 9.30pm. The food was good, but a bit repetative. There was always pizza and pasta avalible for every meal ( usually the same dishes) there was a good salad selction, and always a fish option as wells as a meat choice. Something for everyone. I noticed that at lunchtime that there was some meals were the same as the evening meal the night before.
At the bars there was a good selction of drinks included in the AI options. This included the cocktails, and some branded spirits. However things like Jack Daniels were not included, but anything that was not incuded in the AI option was then charged at half price. Water and all soft drinks were included, and there was house wine (red, white and rose).
hotel/decor/entertainmnet/pool area
The hotel was very clean. Decor is fine. I did notice that the entrance/outside of the hotel is not as nice as the other Iberostars in Tenerife, but this is a minor point really.
The pool area was kept clean, the hotel do not allow people to reserve the sun beds, but some people are still guilty of this. We never had a problem getting a sun bed. The pools were good size.
There is a good choice of activites on during the day, the timetable for which is on the 1st floor beside the bar/resteraunt. There is a gym on the 2nd floor, but this is not very well signposted and only found this on my 2nd last day. There is a spin/Cycle class, areobics and aqua areobics to name a few. Amanda the instrucor that took these clasess was very good.
My only critisim of the entertainment (especailly in the evening) is that it is far too loud.
Location
The hotel is less than 30 mins away from the airport. It is right next to the San eugenio shopping center, which has a large supermarket in it. There are a good selection of bars and restarunts near by the hotel, and a taxi rank just opposite the hotel. A taxi to las Americas is about 5 Euro. The beach is about 10mins away, and is down a bit of a hill. Again losts of bars/cafes/resteruants down by the beach.
The weather was fab!

In summary, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel, although I would not pay a supplement for a pool room, and would request a quiet room.

Room Tip: If you like a quiet room, don't take a room with a pool view.

mostly positive, clean, good food and nicely presented, we were all inclusive, and there was plenty of choice. lots of sunbeds to chooose from, plenty of shops and cafes and resteraunts close.
Only real negative is the rooms could do with a re furb and some of the sofas in the reception had seen better days, but everywhere was very clean and clean towels in the room every day, the wardrobes could do with a proper hanging rail instead of the few hook things to hang your clothes on
The entertainment girls and guys did a great job, and the nights they did a show were better than the proffesionals

We escaped the awful British weather for a bank holiday weekend in the sun. Tenerife was the choice for guaranteed good weather. We were not disappointed. We arrived at 1:00am and were greeted to s swift check in process. The hotel is only half an hour away in a car from the airport. We were given a glass of cava upon check in. The room was spacious and clean. It was a bit dated but served the purpose for our getaway.

Most of the occupants were package holidaymakers with an all inclusive deal. We only arranged for bed and breakfast. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The resort itself has plenty to do on site. We only went for the sunshine and relaxation, so for once, we were not asking for anymore.

Not the kind of place for me normally but I am certainly happy with my stay. The hotel can be a bit noisy at night when the in house entertainment is on (such as their tribute bands and cabaret style of shows), but apart from that, it is adequate.
