We have stayed at other H10 Hotels which were fab and other hotel chains around the world and never had such a terrible buffet or had such terrible service from the hotel staff.
To sum it up....
Food terrible - Luke warm, bland, poor quality. We did complain to hotel public relations manager but we were just told nobody else had complained. Other guests were leaving most of the buffet food on their plates and walking out looking very unimpressed.
Entertainment very poor and no stage or curtains etc which is poor for a 4 star H10 hotel.
Staff service poor and sometimes quite rude and ignorant.
Pool area....Sun beds need to be reserved with your towel before 8.45am or you don’t stand a chance of getting one. A stench of sewage wafted around the pool area near the outside bar and toilets....we only noticed this a few times though.
If you stay here expect a miserable atmosphere and unhelpful staff except a few.
Overall very dissapointing and they need a surprise visit from outside management as the one day they had VIPs at this hotel the buffet was hot and the food was of a much better standard with a huge selection of cakes and the staff were polite and helpful!!!!!
Hotel is lovely and pool area and gardens are fab. Staff and food and entertainment are of a poor standard.

Beautiful resort, amazing food(quality and choice), pool area fabulous. Room was very nice and well looked after with an amazing sea view. We chose the all inclusive package and it was well worth what it cost. Service was good with a special mention for Camilla, Paco and Marcos, thank you very much guys you made our experience even better. It was our first time in Tenerife and We couldn't have chosen a better place. We will definitely come back!!

On arrival the reception was very busy, only two members of staff on duty. The experience resembled chaos, the member of staff was checking us in, and at the same time, dealing with a very upset French lady who was in tears and obviously staying at the hotel, she walked up to reception interrupting our check in process. We had booked a room with a side sea view and asked if we could upgrade to a full sea view. We were told that this was not possible, the hotel was full and that we had the opportunity to do this when booking and it was explained that it was our own fault and basically (tough) I was tired and cross so I said that, the check in process was the worst that I had ever experienced, (and it was), having stayed in some wonderful Hotels in Majorica (Bon Sol, Molins and Illa d’Or in Puerto de Pollensa to name a few) The member of staff then proceeded to shout at me saying’You want to speak to management, well you can’t they are all on lunch!’ I put my hand up to indicate my frustration and said ‘I’m not listening to this’ and walked away, the member of staff shouting ‘Goodbye Goodbye!I ‘ I had only arrived. Leaving my lovely husband to make the apologies and clear up after the explosion I sat well off the reception area. Considering this all took place in front of a packed check in, everyone was upset. It was made even worse when other members of staff were seen to hug the very very rude man on duty that day. Thank goodness for Jessica who came over to me and said ‘please do not let this spoil your holiday’, thank you to her, a very professional girl. We were given a room above the Irish bar and considering it was St Patrick’s night in two days, I can’t but suspect that this was on purpose. I later telephoned reception to ask how the shower worked, as I honestly could not find the mechanism to do this, a very old and tired shower. A girl on reception said ‘Shar what is this shar ? (My lovely Northern Ireland accent obviously) ‘I can’t help you if you don’t want to be helped’ she raged. At this point I just wanted to go home. We did spend the night in the room and ‘The Ring of Fire’ and ‘The Galway Girl ‘ kept coming late into the night. To be fair to the hotel, we were upgraded the next day to a nice sea view room at no extra charge, even though we were happy to pay. We had a nice time but, my goodness, some members of staff need some re- training and allow their frustrations to be vented on tired and weary travellers, who have paid a lot for their holiday and are on holiday due to a bereavement. Final word - I really am a forgiving person and the fault lies with the management for putting your staff under such enormous pressure and not equipping them with the skills to deal with it. ‘Unforgettable’ by Frank Sinatra. Yes we would go back but I’m not taking an nonsense and will call management from lunch to deal with me.xxx

Room tip: You must book a sea view room to avoid noise.

We are saddened to read that the hotel did not fulfil your expectations.

Obviously your experience in our hotel was not satisfactory and we are disappointed with ourselves because it is our aim that each and every guest leaves the hotel premises absolutely satisfied.

We booked the Half Board stay at the H10 Las Palmeras hotel for a week and were very happy with the service provided. Great facilities & very convenient location. Friendly staff is always a plus for the hotel! They were excellent in every department.

Beautiful pool side with comfy sunbeds and daily entertainment; my mum quite loved the Aqua Sports!

Everything was so clean and very neat and the staff were ever so helpful, in particular one of the restaurant managers, Gabriel Real & waitress' Maria Mata. I mentioned that I am Gluten & Dairy Free and they prepared a dish for me everyday. I also liked the fact that I didn't have to chase for it everyday.. one of them would approach me as soon as they saw me in the restaurant and would ask me whatever I fancied eating that day! The food in general was lovely with a good variety of soups, salads & deserts however we did struggle a little on certain days as there weren't many vegetarian options.

Recommendations for future stay:
- Would be lovely to have a hot tub outside by the pool as this was inside the hotel and could only be used by those that had paid for privilege service.
- More choices of vegetarian/vegan/gluten free foods/desserts.
- Possibly more check-in stations at reception as there was always a long queue everyday and travellers were getting frustrated

Will definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends. Few photos attached of the Gluten free spaghetti they had made for me on a few occasions :)

This is supposed to be 4 star rated but we were all inclusive and I expect tea and coffee facilities in the room in a four star, there weren't any ! You had to pay 8 Euros and it only got replaced once a week Also you have to pay for the safe in the room which is way too big and takes up too much wardrobe space, I expect a free safe in a 4 star. Overall we were not too impressed with this hotel, it does say some things are chargeable but it's in the small print .its clean and the staff are friendly but the rooms are a bit small. One thing that I noticed is that the large pool is nearly 2 metres deep for most of the pool so this means there is a lifeguard constantly watching. One day my wife sat down with her drink and feet in the pool as she likes to do (plastic glass) and the next thing there was a whistle and she was told to move away !!! This really annoyed us as we like to sit and chat on the edge of the pool in the sun with our drinks. I don't like being treated like a child. Restaurants were ok, there were two themed ones an Italian and Japanese. The Japanese was never very busy and looking at the menu you could see why. It might have been ok if you like Japanese food. You did not get a s full a range of all inclusive branded spirits as other H10 hotels either. Would we go back ?? Probably not to this one.

Thank you very much for taking time tom publish your opinion on Tripadvisor site.
We are very sorry for the inconveniences caused during your stay.
It is very important the guests have the correct information about the services they contract, to avoid some comments as yours. In any case, there is information about coffee and tea making facilities, so you expect something which was not on the services.As well the information about the safe is chargeables is in all the publications about the hotel.
According to the health and safety rules (not only in Spain, as well according to the ABTA), drinks cannot be used in the pool. Sorry if you felt annoyed. It was never our intention.
All the H10 Hotels has the same branded spirits (not the 5 stars), so sorry again but we still do not understand this comment.
We could understand your opinion, of course, and all your comments can help us to think about somethings, but really we are not agreed with them due to the most of them are not services published in anywhere.

We hope you all the best and we hope you can enjoy your next holidays in one of our hotels.
