Excellent hotel, food was great, pool area was top notch , rooms were more than adequate the only downside is the tv channels, only get sky and BBC news in English. We had room 345 which was great! Good Wee pubs next door called the railway tavern and the bell. Would go back tomorrow if I could!

This was the second time we stayed here. It is a fantastic complex, very clean and tidy. A taxi rank outside the hotel and a LaCoste shop (credit card got burnt) next door. The first time we stayed we were offered the bungalows and we turned them down. The rooms were fine but the second time we took the bungalows - 22 middle age lads. You have to bear in mind the age demographic of this place, so we were getting sectioned. The bungalows are a good call. They are more like apartments. I'm nearly 50 and I was certainly bringing the average age down. Cava for breakfast! This is a great place but be aware of the all inclusive age crew who never move outside the complex and are just grumpy :-) I love getting swore at in French by an octanergrian who wanted 'his' seat at the bar and didn't know I spoke la/le Francais.

Stayed for a winter week in March. Check in was pretty swift - there was no queue, though its not the biggest of receptions. The room was alright. A standard 'average' room. The only English channels on the tv were news stations, but I am getting used to that.

Bathroom was alright. Decent size. Water pressure was good in the shower. Very average overall. (perhaps dated is the best way to describe the room. Its not in bad condition, just a bit bland and tired). I'd rate it personally as a three star hotel, going by Irish standards.
Our room was quiet and kept clean. We heard no noise. we were on the first floor with no view, but it worked for us.

The beds were two single beds pushed together. The gap in the middle is a nuisance. As a single bed, they aren't wide enough - I wasn't very comfortable, but my partner slept fine.

The hotel was 95% full of pensioners. Perhaps a reflection on the time of year, but we struggled to see anyone close to our age.

We were all inclusive. The local beer is fine. The red and white wine (from a tap) were rotten.

The buffets were actually very decent. There was basically everything you could want. I suppose it depends on the time u get there, but there were times when some of the meat was tough, but other times, it was fine. We never queued for any meal. The restaurant was always busy but always very manageable.

The location of the hotel is fine. Free parking out back was good. The pool area was quite big, though with the trees and layout, it can be hard to find a good spot for the sun (that remains a good spot throughout the day).

I left my Kindle by the pool one evening (under a towel) and had it handed it into reception the next day by staff - i had written it off (entirely my fault), so was very pleased with the honesty of that staff member!!!

To summarise, the photos never live up to reality, but the hotel is OK. We got an average price so we were content. I probably wouldn't return - I'd probably gamble on another hotel being better, with perhaps with more mixed, but preferably younger guests !!!

Room Tip: we requested a quiet room and got a quiet room, on the first floor facing the mountains/car park.

Stayed 1 week and enjoyed every minute of it, Super service and super food all of the time, All incl. is the best option because you can drink almost all brands f.e. 51 pastis etc... limitless...
Greetings to Idriss, one of the entertainers/animators of the hotel, he did a very good job!
Till next time!!

Room Tip: I would choose a room on the ocean side because on the street there can be lots of noise.

Stay here for 1 month AI. Reception was v busy when we arrived and we had to wait a long time to check in. We were then allocated a very small dated room with broken tiles. It took 3 rooms till we got a room that we found acceptable, we had paid extra for a sea view - although rm cleaned every day there was mould in the shower that was there for the entire month!!! And even when we move stuff from the sink it was not cleaned- we asked the cleaner for cleaning stuff so we could clean ourselves.
Within the first week we both got sick- as did most of the guests in the hotel- a few people collapse and were taken to hospital - the hotel refused to acknowledge any responsibility. I complained to head waiter that the same tongs were used by staff for raw and cooked meat at the grill area- now I know how I got sick!!! We did not eat in the main restaurant after that- the Italian restaurant was lovely so we ate there. The best thing about this hotel is defo the location and entertainment team - we enjoyed the games and all the banter. This hotel should be a poor 3 star with a great entertainment team

Having read some of the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. The hotel was centrally located. The food was very good catering for all nationalities. In my opinion all inclusive was the best option. The room we stayed in was small but adequate. The maid service was excellent the room was cleaned every day with clean towels and bed linen. The staff in the hotel were very pleasant and very hard working. The pool area was great but
there was a problem with reserving sunbeds although the staff tried their best to keep on top of things. We only stayed for one week at the beginning of March we had storms for the first 2 days but after that the weather was lovely around 22 degrees. My husband and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and returning there again for another enjoyable holiday. Well done to the staff at Las Palmeras.
