Have just returned after spending 10 days at the h10 las palmeras. This hotel is worth spending your holiday at. The location is directly on to promenade, turning right toward Adege area and Torvisscas and if you turn left can walk to lovely Los christianos along a lovely promenade , lined with shops and cafes on right and ocean to left. Lots of seating to watch the wotld go by.
good points about hotel.... food is excellent, hot and lots of variety with excellent fresh cooking area , cooked to your preference.excellent breakfasts with absolutely everyting you want to eat. lovely smoothies made fresh, omlettes made to your choice.Staff are very hard working. got impression they were understaffed as faces showed signs of stress at times. Tables were not cleared too promptly. As regards seating in dining room , you are shown to your table or pointed at table by restaurant managers. Tables are too close together and just looks like a canteen . very little room to manoevre and no privacy to enjoy your meal. shame as food is so good.
No hand sanitiser at entrance of dining room, which should be essential to avoid germs spreading.
We had three rooms before we eventually settled....ist room was directly above music venues untti very early hours in morning. 2nd room was directly above air conditioning units which ran noisly all night. we could not sleep , so was offered another room on same floor away from noise. Receptionist was not too accomodating and said hotel was full, yet we spoke to several people who were not happy with rooms and they were allocated sea views at no extra cost. Suppose it is just who you deal with, but book a sea view on floors above 3. it really is a must if you want a good nights sleep!!! Pool area is very nice . lots of shrubs and flowers. small childrens pool with umbrellas.and mattress . Have to pay1 euro30 for each towel and every time you have to change it you have to pay again. Not good for 4 star hotel You cannot reserve a bed until after 8.15 when chains are unlocked. Must return to sunbed after 1 hour or towels are removed for other guests. You are left a note to collect items from pool guard.Think it is a good idea but perhaps could stretch it for 1 and half hours.Evenng entertainment was very good with several shows each night and two very professional keyboard players who sang and entertained for dancing. Many of rooms are refurbished and very nice with modern colours and paintings. You also have to pay for remote control for tv. very few english channels.Bedrooms cleaned daily and clean towels everyday.

Room Tip: sea view above 2nd floor must to avoid noise. ask for refurbished room.

Dear clients,

Hoping you have had a pleasant flight back home, we thank you very much for having taken the time to forward your feedback on tripadvisor.com. Please be assured that we constantly work on improving our services in order to enable a pleasant stay to our customers.
We sincerely regret the disturbance during the night.
Our central ubication in the heart of Playa de las Américas can definitely be a busy area, especially in the evenings, and that activity can come as a surprise for some of our guests, especially those with open balcony doors and in rooms facing the street. We 're in constant conversation with the local ordinance, trying to reduce the noise significantly in the entire downtown area. Please accept our apologies.
We appreciate your opinions and comments, as constructive criticism is the only way to know the reality and to improve quality, services as well as facilities, to avoid future complaints for the same reason like yours.
We sincerely hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the not too far future.

Regards
Ana Martín

We stayed 11 days at the Las Palmeras and were very happy with all aspects of the hotel. We went all inclusive and found the food excellent. There was plenty of choice and although the food repeats itself after a few days there is still plenty to choose from and in all honesty you really can't get bored. We also dined once in the Italian restaurant within the hotel and the food again was excellent along with the serivce. I have read a lot of the reviews on here and I cannot fault any of the staff - they are friendly, say hello when they see you and we even saw management doing their daily walkabouts round the complex speaking to the guests - what more do people want?!! We stayed in room 174 which was on the corner of the hotel so we got a view of the pool/beach and the road. I agree that a room on the road can be noisy, due to the entertainment from local bars, but all the music stops at 1am and to be honest it was great coming back to the room at night with a few drinks, sitting on the balcony and listening to the music and relaxing, it really isn't as bad as people make out on their reviews. There is free wifi in the lobby - you get a code which lasts for 3 days which you input into your device - however we found that we could get wifi out near the pool bar and also on the balcony of our room but not in the room, which was a benefit. The hotel is in a great location, come out of the hotel turn left and a 5 minute walk you are at Veronicas, turn right and 5 minutes down the road you are on the strip with all the shops and bars. The hotel is on the beach front so you are really so close to everything. We also ate out and the restuatants around the hotel are great - especially the american grill bar. We drank in the railway tavern (quiz on every night) and at the bell (karaoke every night) next to the hotel and both pubs were very welcoming and friendly. Overall really cannot fault this hotel in anyway. The are slowly renovating the hotel and I think once the renovations are done it will look great. A taxi from the airport is 26 euros.

First impression was OK, however it quickly became clear that the hotel its core business is not to please their guests but mainly focuses on making money. Off course.

Unfortunately we did not feel welcome at at ease. Most of the hotel staff was unfriendly and not helpfully at all. Very amateuristic approach at front desk led to a lot of frustrations and unhappy faces amongst guests.

Not a lot of variations at the buffet(breakfast&dinner). It's impossible to eat calmly. We really had the impression being in a factory that serves food. Once our table was cleared(incl. drinks) when we were not finished dining.

During our stay, my mobile phone charger was broken by the cleaning lady, no problem, accidents happen. However, the way the hotel dealt with this issue was unacceptable. Very hostile and not helpful at all. They gave me the impression it was all my fault. They gave me another charger, other technical specifications & other brand then the original one. Afterwards I had to sign a document in which was stated the hotel was not responsible.

Room was clean & spacious, don't book at street side. To noisy.

Just returned from H10 Las Palmeras. First time here and found it to be a great Hotel, we had a problem with the room we were allocated on the 9th Floor but on reporting it to the reception the next morning we were allocated a different room. The reception staff treated our complaint in an excellent and courteous manner and we received a written apology from the hotel management.

We found all the staff in the hotel very friendly and the hotel and rooms were spotless.

The Italian restaurant next to the main restaurant is well worth booking (one visit allowed at no extra charge if you are on all inclusive. The hotel is in a very good location with very pleasant walks in both directions along the sea front.

The Irish Corner next to the hotel was bouncing on St Patrick's Day

Just spent a week all inclusive and happy with most aspects of hotel. Very clean, both inside and pool areas. Food fine, could always find lots to choose from, restarant sometimes felt a bit like a school canteen due to numbers of guests but staff always lovely and helpful. Try to get a table at side of room or outside for breakfast and lunch, more pleasant. First room,201 noisy as over entertainment venue, asked to move on 3rd night and reception very helpful. Had a 5th floor room towards fire escape which was a great improvement. The area itself a cultural desert but was as expected, within the hotel it was usually a peaceful oasis.

Room Tip: Upper floor, seaview, worth the extra
