“good place, id go back”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

i read the reviews and was worried going, but iver been to tenerife 4 times this my first time here in this apt, and i thought when i walked in great, got a great room, a large apt for a family so good, but on the road side, and i agree was very noisy with traffic, a few nights could here noise from guests --- but you get that in every place so that wouldnt turn me off.

but one thing is the floors been black, its true, after we arrived, after an hour, my little baby was black crawling on floors, her clothes and feet- al over black, so i brought her to reception put her on the counter, and the clothes and they had a cleaner up in 5 mins, and cleaned it, but still next day the same way. it was annoying but i got cleaners to wipe it every day.

receptionists lovely,
food -we were self catering so only tried 1 morning and night in restaurant, breakfast is better and cheaper in the local restaurants, the dinner was lovely, but im glad i didnt go all inclusive, prefer the coice of local restaurants, and its so cheap.

pools class ! but get out early and put towwl on a bed !
little area for children but could do with a swing.
situated in nice area.

Reception staff off hand. Bar staff couldn't give a dam. Not enough sunbeds large number of which were broken, lack of outside seating in particular in bar area. People were getting up before 7am in order to reserve a sunbed. Holiday spoilt by small number of drunken idiots shouting, swearing, running up and down tiled landings, banging on and slamming doors on and off throughout the night every night for 2 weeks. When complained to Reception advised to ring security when there was a problem, but out phone wasn't working. Rooms & public areas not very clean. Do not bother going to this hotel if you are over 25. Its only saving grace is that it is in a very central area. We will not be returning to this hotel ever again.

Room Tip: Insist on a room in the main block where Reception is facing the road as it is quieter.

Arrrived 11.p.m. after checking in ased at bar for water and coffee told have to pay for this what about all inclusive? Week holiday was needed on return home not a wink of sleep for a whole week due to yobs making noise and jumping in pool sometimes 0.5..0. Reception staff not interesed in this security guard had to be woken one night to deal with this. Restaurant never had any cups or cutlery particulary at breakfast time resorted to buying own cups. Rep. from T. Cook said very good hotel and good value. Was she having a laugh? Never Never again.

Room Tip: rooms to back of building away from pool but still noisy

My friend and I booked this hotel 3 weeks before we wanted to go away as a chance to relax and chill out before we went back to uni and also to catch up with a friend who was working out there. From the price and some of the reviews we read through we were a bit concerned as to what the hotel was all about and if we had made a mistake but we were pleasantly surprised and shocked as how good the hotel actually was. It was fantastic!!! It had all the amenities needed in the kitchen area and had plenty of room to move around. The hotel itself was just a couple of streets away from Best Tenerife (one of the pick ups for the tours such as the free bus to Siam Park and the bus for Loro Parque) and 10 minute walk to the Veronicas and Starcos strip where all the bars are. It was perfect.
The pool area had a lot of sun beds and had 3 nice pools for use.
The hotel do provide a luggage room and showers for people with late flights which was a great help for us.
The taxi rank is round the corner and there are nice restaurants close by and also along the back of veronicas if you walk along the path at the beach.
There is a safe available for a small charge.
I think this hotel would be perfect for all, couples, friends, familys and older peope.
Overall highly recommended.

Room Tip: Save money on the air con and choose a room away from the pool! We never needed it!

We arrived in the early hours of the morning reception & security staff were very friendly and accomodating. We were given a room on the 6th floor overlooking the pool area which was yes basic but clean who comes on holiday to spend time in their room anyway.

Never used the tv during our week so couldnt comment if you were charged for this or not but air conditioning was free and we were able to control it ourselves not like previous reviews have stated.

Noise during our week wasnt a problem yes back and forward there was a bit noise but nothing to complain about and definately not any different to any other hotel I have stayed in and I usually holiday two or three times a year.

Never had a problem getting a sunlounger and they were not chained up as previous reviews have stated. Yes sun does not last all day round the main pool area but there is a suntrap to the side of one of the buildings that gets the sun all day and this area has a small pool.

Didnt go down for breakfast so couldnt comment on that always waited and had a toastie round about 10am. Couldnt complain about the food I am a fussy eater and always found something to eat plenty choice at all times. If the food was that disgusting dont know why so many people had their plates piled high with food.

No way could I describe the staff as rude or unhelpful everyone spoke and made us feel welcome at all times even when you were only passing them in corridors.

Yes I did see ONE cockroach on one of the landings which are outside in open air which you expect in Tenerife but none in any indoor area.

Yes there were little chips in the furniture which cant be helped in a busy hotel with the amount of guests it probably has going through its doors each week.

Plenty activities for the kids during the day and evening and inflatables were at the pool every second day.

Our room was in the same block as the disco thats on until 3.30am each morning didnt hear any noise at all from it.

Overall I couldnt fault this hotel or its staff but as with any other hotel anywhere in the world it depends on the other guests you are sharing your holiday with dont blame a hotel for bad guests they do not have the facility for vetting guests before they arrive. Also if you want 5* surroundings pay 5* prices

If you want to get any sleep at night then don't go to this hotel. It's like a zoo at night with the drunken yobs running riot ,shouting and banging on and slamming doors, the staff did nothing about it.When we complained the reception staff were arrogant, unsympathetic and unhelpfull. They told us to ring reception to complain. When we rang at 4.30 am the following night there was no answer. They served young people with alcohol when they were clearly drunk !
There is only one bar and the seating around reception is uncomfortable and there are nowhere near enough tables and chairs around the pool for evenings. There are not enough sunbeds and most of the ones they have are broken.
There are charges for safe (40 euro), air-con ( 70 euro for air-con + safe), gym ( 20 euro/hour) and TV ( 1 euro/hour)
On the plus side the hotel is kept clean, the food is what you would expect, the staff in the bar and restaurant are pleasant and helpfull. The hotel is in a good position with plenty to see & do in the area.

Room Tip: Not overlooking the pool
