We decided to go to this restaurant on the last night of our vacations and was not a mistake....The food was more than we expected, awesome meat and fresh vegetables but what surprise us the most was the friendly staff that attended that night...the Tango show it's a "must"!! I recommend La Martina for the food, the show and overall for the incredible atmosphere that you live thanks to the wonderful staff and to the absolutely charming Restaurant Manager...We'll come back in our next trip to Tenerife...

“SHOCKING, NOT WORTH 1 *- worst service/atmosphere/treatment ever”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Just unbelievably bad although ALL passing by food looked excellent. Our wine didn't come (20 min., 2 reminders by walking over to waiters), then the food arrived - looked a great, well cooked platter. We said we want to have wine with our food, so please take it back, bring the wine (required airing) & THEN the food. They did, only the food was re-cooked & now charcoal. We refused to eat it, tried to call the waiter/s & advised we wouldn't it it but wanted fresh food. Some very rude remarks from the waiter, so we stood up & left (without being able to speak to the Manager whom we asked for & who couldn't care less as it turned out after the initial waiter came running after us & Mr big-mouth "who the hell are you" Director was suddenly available & must be training the rude staff as his mouthing off was even worse).

Shame, the wine list is good but this massively big restaurant doesn't have to bother with the daily changing clients.
DON'T GO IF YOU WANT A PLEASANT EVENING.

“Excellentes viandes”

We had excellent pieces of meat in this restaurant. The meat was very tasty and cooked as we asked for. No need to order additional sauce, it hides the taste of the meat, which would be a pity for such a meat. We ordered additional vegetables and fries because we did not know there was some already with the main plate.

“Poor service”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

We went for a meal to this restaurant as it was recommended to us. The restaurant was full but a able for 2 had just vacated so wasn't long for us to wait to be seated.
A drinks order was taken as soon as we sat down but at no point during the meal were we asked if we wanted more drinks.
My garlic mushroom starter was delicious, the bread roll used to soak up the garlic oil added to our bill. My husbands calamari was rather dry and over cooked. My filet steak was not as tender as a fillet should be with fatty bits on it, the cheese sauce helped me eat it. My husbands T-bone steak had a 'long time in the fridge' smell to it that put him off and although he ate it he ad to push his plate away to get the smell of the bone away from under his nose.
When our plates were cleared we were not asked if we enjoyed our food.
After a 20 minute wait I asked a waiter for a dessert menu, nearly 30 minutes later I had to call a waiter to order a profiteroles and a coffee.
At this point we thought we ad better ask for the bill and I must say that that did come promptly and even at this point when we were paying the bill there was no interaction/conversation between us and the waiter, hence the small tip and we won't be returning.

“Shocking service, shocking food, shocking staff attitude”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Saw this restaurant on the first night and wanted to try it, unfortunately it was full so booked a table for 8:30 the following night. We turned up and the table wasn't ready until 9:15, a 45 minute wait. Ordered our meal and it took 45 minutes for the starters to arrive and they even tried to serve a main course for 1 of our party. The wait for the mains was even longer at an hour and the main they tried to serve for starter was dry and loop warm (guessing it had been sat under the heat lamp for an hour). For the rest of the food, to say it is meant to be a steak house the meat was full of fat and gristle. Definitely not 22 euros worth. We complained to the head waiter and he said he didn't own the restaurant so wasn't bothered what we thought. I approached the owner and his attitude was even worse. His response was 'I have 11 restaurants that are busy so I don't care what you think' after this he pushed me away and told me to get out of his restaurant.
