apologies to all for using it as a bulletin board but i emailed the hotel and no response as yet and i see that they answer on here.....which means they actually care what their customers think!

We all had a great time when we went to Oasis Glof resort last yr and would definetly go back, the food wes good, entertainment excellent and nightlife not too far away.
The accomodation was good and very spacious.
We were worried at 1st as when we took a look we decided the stairs were a no, no for our 18month old little boy, as he is a climber and the stairs are concrete. I nipped to reception and within minutes they put up safety gates which was great plus. The staff also put up netting around the balcony as my little boy could easily have crawled through the gaps in the balcony wall.
Its something they they sometimes naturally do if they know you are travelling with children before you arrive, otherwise just ask.
There are two balconys, one below leading from the bedroom and one above leading from the living area.
All in all we had a fabtime and would go back without a doubt.
We travelled with a baby, plus teenagers and adults, everyone had a good time.
The annimation team are great with the children.
My little boy also went into the creche most morning and was very well cared for.
He also loved the childrens disco after dinner and just before the evening entertainment..
The only dissapointment, was we booked the hotel for the Golf, only to find out that to play a round of golf was nearly £180 euro's as the members do not like visitors to play on the course, so the more it costs the more likely no one will want to play, hence my husband and brother in law decided no!

Dear Sir
Christmas for us is a very busy period. There is plenty going on at our hotel and everything is open as normal. On the 24th of December the spanish celebrate their family day and therefore some places are closed from early evening. In our hotel we close the restaurant at 21:00hr. and our bars at 24:00h. aprox. on the night of the 24th of December. We will be advertising shortly all our activities for these dates on facebook. To my knowledge Siam Park and Loro Park are open as normal from 10am to 5pm. approx. Kindest regards María Lorenzo

Hello Mr/s Whitty,

The custody of our guest’s valuable goods (passports, tickets, money, etc) is a very important issue for us being aware of the consequences of loss. We as a hotel always recommend Safety Deposit Boxes. We do keep ours for guaranteed safety in the Reception Area as this is monitored 24hrs of the day both personally and by camera.

The cost varies depending on the duration of stay, however approximately 2,50€ a day. There are 2 individual keys for the safe, one is for the guest and the other is kept by the Manager of the Hotel.

We Charge a deposit of 20€ which is refunded on return of the key at the end of the stay.

If we can help you with any further information about Gran oasis Resort, don’t hesitate to contact us. reservas@grupogolfresort.com

Thank you for everything.

Hello Ms. Lurgan

Gran oasis is like a little village with it’s semi-detached terraced houses, it’s walkways, gardens and fountains. In some areas there are steps, but not to the extent of inconvenience with small children.

Should you need any assistance during your stay, however, please ask at reception. Angeles is our head of Reception or you could send us an email to our reservations department, this would be Belinda on reservas@grupogolfresort.com . We would be delighted to deal with any queries you may have.

Our animation team is lead by Renata and is here to entertain you almost 24hrs in the day, 365 days of the year! You will have a great time in that department.

Only one month to go, we look forward to meeting you.

Hello

we are due to holiday in the Gran Oasis in September and have just read this on our travel agents site - it was not there where we booked two days ago
IN ACCORDANCE WITH LEGISLATION ON POOL MAINTENANCE WE INFORM YOU THAT WE WLL BE EMPTYING AND CLEANING ONE OF OUR 3 POOLS FROM 20/9 UNTIL 28/9
could you please let me know which pool it is and any other information you have - really disappointed we were not made aware of this before we booked. We have been following the reviews on this site which helped us make the choice but now feel let down as a choice of swimming pools is key for us. I imagine the closure of one pool will have a knock on effect as more people will want to use the remaining pool (and unless it is the 'kiddy' pool that is closing will mean it will be difficult to get a bed by the pool)
thanks
Clare

We have just returned from the Grand Oasis resort in Tenerife. We have young grandchildren aged 7 and 4 and travelled with our daughter son in law and my sister and little boy aged 10 too.
It is a wonderful place for a family holiday. The resort is clean and the apartments lovely. Our apartments where just up a small slope. Others involve walking up quite a few steps- but if you are young it doesn't matter as its a pleasant walk. The weather was incredibly hot. There are 3 pools which cater for all types of swimmers. Our little ones favoured the little pool which had a whirlpool too. The staff are so helpful and friendly and smile all the time. The entertainment was brillinat. It starts with a mini disco for the little ones- lasting half an hour or so. Believe me you will know all the songs by the end of the week. Then there is a show of some kine- snakes, parrots, magician etc for about an hour (again the kids love this and you get the chance to have photos taken) Then most nights there was bingo- worth doing as our whole party won. We won 270 euros on the first night! lots of fun and then there is more entertainment after the bingo. We loved the fact that it had bite sized entertainment for all ages and preferences. AI was certainly worth it as you drink the night away!
We visited Loro park ( an hour and a half away) and Siam park which was brilliant! We bought twin tickets as it was cheaper- you can get these through your rep. They fingerprint you at your first park to ensure you use your ticket for the second park and don't give it to anyone else. The hotel will provide a packed lunch for your days out if you are all incluseve (although it isn't that nice) We made our own rolls at breakfast and popped them in our bags! They tell you you can't take packed lunches inro Siam park but they don't check your bags so sneak them in because the food can be expensive if you have to buy it. We also visitied Monkey Zoo (not jungle Zoo) which is a half day experience. Arrive early and take with you some fruit in your back packs. You get to walk in with the limas and monkeys and they are really friendly- kids will love the experience.
Taxis are always outside of the hotel and they charge what they like really. One trip into town cost us three euros fifty, another seven euros so always negotiate a price before you get in.
At loro park the dolphin show and orca show were amazing but we felt we were rushed to see it all before we caught the coach home. Siam park was so much fun. As soon as you arrive decide which is the ride you most want to go on and head for it straight away as early in the morning there are no queues. After that, you can be queueing for up to two hours to get on a ride. Again, at five o'clock many leave and so this too is a good time to get on that favourite ride. In between we went and experienced the tidal wave which is like a mock beach and every half hour an enormous wave is released. (like typhoon lagoon in the states) its so much fun but very powerful so keep little ones close to the shore line. They have plenty of life guards so you feel safe.
The food at the hotel was great. plenty of choice and each night is themed. They even have a separate little station in the dining room for little people with chicken nougats and chips etc. The drinks in the bar are extremely generous so beware lol!
They also have little snack bars around the pools where- if you are AI- you can have unlimited ice cream, drinks and hot dogs.
The only thing we were a little fed up with were the sun beds. People got up at six am to place there towels on a bed and more often than not you did not see anyone sat on them all day- very selfish people! We found some beds and moved them to where we wanted them in the end and no one seemed to mind. You will need a parasol!!!!
All in all, this was a great holiday and if you want a holiday that has something for everyone- all ages- then I strongly recommend the Grand Oasis.
