“excellent holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2011

Just back from one week holiday and was a fantastic holiday with no complaints. The staff are all extremely pleasant and professional with smiles on faces at all times. We had a 2 bed suite which was a top of the resort and would be unsuitable for elderly/infirm as there are quite a few stairs involved. Accommodation was very spacious and comfortable - even had roof terrace with sun beds and gazebo with table and chairs. Place was spotless clean. Food was great value for money - we upgraded to all inclusive for 25 euros per day and was best decision we made - evening meals were themed and could be Italian/Tex-Mex etc and all excellent standard. Entertainment is what you would expect with a family resort. Would recommend it for anyone to go and would return myself

Great hotel for family's, food was pretty good for all inclusive.
Rooms were good, a little spartan but here I am being really picky.
The staff were great and could not be any more helpfull.
The pool area was clean and tidy.
We will definatly be returning.

Hotel is clean the 2 storey apartments are kept clean, but they are getting a bit dated and basic up need upgrading to get to 4 star, especially NO aircon even in October we needed it the rooms were very hot at night and struggled to sleep, would not like to stay here at height of summer. WE asked for and emailed through my daughter whowsorks for T. COOK abouit ther requirement for a low room due to my wife and I both having problems with walking up stairs OR slopes, Guess what we were given a apartment on the Third LEVEL up many stairs or slopes ands they said they had no info on email or booking asking for low floor due to our difficulties. Tried twice too get low floor but told it would be at least 2 days before it might be possible, we were only there for a week so living out off a suitcase for first 2 or 3 days was out of the question, so had to grin and bear it, NOT a happy camper. Staff are great, very friendly pool areas are clean and well looked after but beds need replacing in many cases as do the brollies quite a few not working. Also lack of pool towels at a 4 star not great.
Hotel feels too small for the number of guests the restaurant even with different times feels very cramped a few times we could not finds seats for the 5 in our party. Again not up to 4 star standards we have seen in other hotels but food was good, plates could have been warmed more than they were . Entertainment was not very good but no worse then other places but again lack of space to sit at night at bar and entertainmenbt area was very limited. Hotel and pools for kids and the kids club area were great for our 2 grand kids they had a great time, You have to be quick to get beds next to pools to kep an eye on them.
Overall nice hotel for Couples with kids but not upto 4 star standards of others.

Visited gran oasis last may and was very impressed with everything, food excellent and staff very friendly and helpful.Ten minute walk to los cristianos and fifteen to las americas.Be aware there are steps up to all apartments, but the apartments are good. One of the waiters even taught me a few words of spanish. We enjoyed it so much we are going back next May and staying in the same room, its well worth a visit.

The 2 bedroom apartment I shared with 4 friends was great although be prepared to walk up & down loads of steps to reach it. It was a good size as were the bedrooms but the food was decidedly average and not much room around the pools. The staff were helpful and the waiting staff worked their socks off clearing the tables.
The hotel was clean and for the amount we paid, it we shouldnt have expected Cordon Blue cooking.
I would recommend it to people looking for a cheap/good value break.

a little bit out of the way of las americas which is a ten minute taxi ride away and a 20 minute bus ride from siam water park, brilliant hotel with all inclusive but dont go self catering as your spending cost will be expensive, the food was to everyones taste with theme nites all week.it was our first trip to tenerife 11/10/2011 and while it was from 28% to 32%, but if we travel to tenirife again we will book further down into las americas.7/10 for us just because of the location.our apartment was fab with rooftop terrace which over looks las americas and los cristianos.
