“Pay for what you get”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

Reception: We arrived very late due to a delay, but reception is open 24 hours which is really good, as they keep your room key for you, and deal with all queries. Also, wifi for one hour is only 1 euro, so was good price. However, you could ask for any room key and be given it, as they don't check so we felt a little unsafe.
Rooms: Rooms were very basic, we had a few broken things in ours, and some of the lights didn't work, however, the maintenance man came to fix both lights on our second day. The bathroom is large enough, but you have to keep asking for toilet paper and clean towels, as the maids aren't great. I would recommend getting a safe (only 21.50, good to share), as many people complained of things going missing. The balcony all looks out onto the sea, and the pools, but very little privacy. Beds were comfy, but no air con! However, we didn't find this a major problem.
Meals: Many people complain about the food, and although it isn't amazing, for the price you pay you can't expect it to be. Breakfast is always the same, sausages and beans were nice, bread was dry, but lots of juices available. Lunch and dinner changed slightly but very little choice and a lot of the time you were unsure what you were eating. However, they had ice cream on offer with different flavours, which was really nice.
Staff: There is only 1 staff on at a time, who is run off their feet dealing with the drinks at the bar and tidying the restaurant. The brown haired lady is lovely, as is the blonde young girl, both served us drinks and were polite. The lady who doesn't smile, who is blonde is very moody and scary at times! She works mornings so wasn't a major issue, but she wasn't polite at all. All inclusive drinks were great though, we managed to get two at a time, and were able to get a drunk before we went out, spending less. Wish the bar stayed open past 11.
Location: Location is probably the best thing about this hotel. Siam park is in sight, with a short 10 minute walk. There are shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby, the beach is a 10 minute walk, the strip is 15 minutes. The main shops such as Bershka and Mango, are roughly 25 mins away, but it is a nice walk, and we got some good deals.

Overall, although the food is pretty bad, the drinks were great, and the pools weren't too busy, we were a group of 10 teenagers and this place was perfect for us.

Room Tip: Higher up would probably be better for noise levels, they play music in the bar til late. Don't...

There's so many down sides to this hotel, the staff are some of the rudest people in Tenerife! They cannot speak English and when I asked for a cocktail (all inclusive) she reply's with "No" so I said "What? What do you mean no? I'm all-inclusive". She looked at me blankly. "Who do I make a complaint too, where's the manager?" she said " No complaints". The staff were cold and unfriendly. We found two dead cockroaches outside our room and a live one was found in a friends room. The food wasn't bad to be fair however their were bugs that looked like a Spanish ants in the bread. The beds were on wheels and the double was to singles pushed together. The water was turned off at night so no brushing your teeth or FLUSHING THE TOILET. The shelves were all hanging off their hinges. To top it all off when we were out on the balcony (being slightly loud) after a night out a worker from the hotel came out from the reception and called us "mother f***ers". Stay any where else! Its not worth the money I would rather pay more for a better holiday!

Well...where do I start? When we arrived at hotel and got to our room there was an electrical socket hanging off the wall and the patio door wouldn't lock! Eventually it got fixed by the maintenance man and we got another room the next day. We were happy with the new room until my partner woke at 3 o'clock in the morning to a pool in the room due to a burst pipe in the room next door. When my partner went to reception he was told it would get dealt with in the morning! Shocking! He demanded it was dealt with right away and it did get cleaned up. We were all inclusive, the food wasn't fresh but edible. As for the bar we had to wait up to 5 minutes sometimes to get served, they ran out of lime juice then had no vodka! There were men in the pool with their pants off making a lot of noise as well. The couch in the room was covered in stains, we had to ask for our bed sheets to be changed and when the room was 'cleaned' they didn't leave us any toilet paper, it was quite embarrassing having to ask at reception for toilet paper! The downstairs toilets at the bar were disgusting!! If going on holiday with kids don't stay here, we certainly won't be back!

Room Tip: To get a good room book another hotel!

Cost extra for a balcony. Turns out every room has a balcony. Basic place. Get what you pay for Nothing to write home about
Room is ok. Cleaners hide a lot I think. Pool is good. Choice of 2. Quiet when I was there. So not many kids

After other reviews I was nervous about our stay but I shouldn't have been.
We paid about £20 each a night for all inclusive. Drinks are generously free poured and our room was cleaned throughly 4 times in our 7 night stay. The food was ok, meats were tough and there wouldn't be much choice if you are a veggie, but no one would go hungry with chips pasta and salad always an option.
Staff were efficient, if you were pleasant with them and treated them like you would in a UK hotel they were great. We saw some guests just going up and barking drink orders, the staff in return were abrupt but our experience was great.
The pools are small but have enough loungers to accommodate guests.
Location is fab, walking distance to the strip and a short walk to the beach.
For what we paid we would not hesitate to return.

Okay so having read other reviews.. I think it's important to be constructive.....

You get what you pay for...if anyone coming here expects to get the ritz then you'd need to pay a lot more for it. The price speaks for itself.. And I think anyone expecting the earth for next to nothing is a little misled.

This is what it is a basic apartment, somewhere to sleep, and a central location so within easy reach of everything. I came here with a group of girl mates and we stayed just 3 nights. It was perfect for us, as we didn't plan on staying in our room...but to explore, sunbathe on the beach and go out in the evenings. For that reason we found it adequate.

What I will say is... This place is not geared up families.. It does as previously said attract stag and hen dos. There are facilities for children but I wouldn't bring them here, far too loud at night and in the day even.

The rooms are extremely basic and although ours were clean, we all felt a week would be too long as the rooms needed a little care and attention, very dated. The food wasn't what we expected and having gone all inclusive we ate out for two days out of the three!

The reception staff I can't fault, they were very helpful.

Overall.. If you want a cheap weekend away then I can't fault it..as you don't go away to sit in your apartment? But for anything longer... I'd put my hand in my pocket pay more and ultimately receive an all round better service!
