Stayed at the Green Golf first week in September. Apartment was lovely with a well equiped Kitchen. Only tip I would give is ask for an upper floor, our upstairs neighbours had a habit of wearing high-heels and dragging furniture around at 4 in the morning - there isn't a lot of sound-proofing so it did wake us.
Had lunch at the pool bar twice, large portions and pretty good quality. We spent most of the holiday by the pool and never had a problem getting two sun loungers together, although if you are fussy about where you sit and want a parasol you would have to be out fairly early. Used the on site shop a couple of times and ventured into the resort in the hope that it would be cheeper but it wasnt really. The best value is getting the free beach bus to the safari centre area and walking down to the supermarket there (only takes about 5 minutes when you're off the bus) which is huge with a great choice of products.

Apart from the apartment being broken into on the 2nd night and us having €100 stolen the resort overall was ok. The staff didn't really pay much interest in us being broken into and despite us asking the patio door wasn't repaired.

The apartments were cleaned regularly and were reasonably sized and well equipped. The pool was fine however getting a sun lounger if you didn't put your towel out at 7am was a problem.

The food in the bar / restaurant was pretty poor. We had breakfast once, which was ok, and two evening meals. The evening meals tend to be buffets of a particular countries cuisine so one night it was international, one night chinese etc. Steer clear of the chinese. The BBQ on a Saturday night was reasonable.

Entertainment was pretty good for the kids during the day and the evening entertainment was ok. There was a snake show, a parrot show, bingo, singing etc.

The complex was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The swimming pools were brilliant except from people who put their towels out on the sunbeds in the middle of the night!!!! Entertainment was brilliant. The range of products in the bar and shop was great although a little expensive the same with computer access. Reception staff were very helpful and polite. The walk to town was very far though through a pathway called Johnny Avenue and were let you decide for yourselves why its named that!!!!!!! Overall a very enjoying holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just back from 2 weeks holiday at the Green Golf Resort - two adults and 2 children aged 13 and 10. It is disappointing to have to say that we had hoped that we had found a great resort for our annual holiday, with views of a Golf course etc. All looked stunning in the brochures, but not so in the flesh. The entrance was dark and unassuming in character, the reception very efficient though and friendly. Then upstairs from Reception, the pool and apartments, with beautiful landscaping all around which was so well kept by the gardeners on a daily basis. The apartments are on two floors, great size, well kept, but very few in total with a view of the course, & no air conditioning or fans. The facilities were disappointing - restaurant open 8am till 11pm, meals served till 4pm., then after 7pm till 9pm. Most people appeared to eat out and return to no bar late at night ie.11pm. No entertainment to speak of, and no kiidies club /facilities. The pool was lovely, sitting around it was great, but the stress caused by the Life Guard on from 10am to 6pm was at times intolerable - kids were not allowed to play with small balls, lilos, rings, etc....eventhough not many were in the pool to come to harm and were well supervised by their parents. Eventually this rule was relaxed but not until objections were raised with the Mgt. The latter part of the holiday was not as great in the resort as lots of groups of youngsters - 18-20'somethings, arrived, with some of the usual antics, some were thrown off but not before stressing some with the noise and play. Even the sunbeds were booked with towels out as early as 5am when the 'kids' arrived back from the nightclubs. A bit of a pain to get up to find many gone before 7.30am., and they were not even from that well known country for towel plonking early. The resort was therefore beautiful from a resort perspective but has a lot to learn as a family resort. Or is it content to invite Yahoos from the UK to spoil it for the other more mature visitors who would return over and again but for these issues. Scott Dublin

Just got back yesterday from this wonderful resort myself boyfriend and little girl stayed for a week in a one bedroom apt first floor with lovely views out to mountains and sea in the distance , the balcony was really big & had the sun all day and in the evening there was a small balcony off the bedroom with just enough room to fit a chair & get some more sunshine!
The apt was fantastic - designed to a very high standard very spacious with beautiful furniture & absolutely spotless.
After reading reviews here I knew I would not be disappointed in fact it was even nicer than I thought.
The grounds are spectacular lovely swimming pool, pine trees, flowers, fountains, nice wooden benchs & swing chairs with cushions & at night sitting on our balcony all you could hear was water trickling from the fountain below & little lanterns lit along the paths - not a lager lout in sight pure bliss!
If you want drinking & parties do not come here I doubt it would be tolerated and the bar closes early at about 11pm great if you want a relaxing time which is why its perfect for couples & families.
We hired a car for the week which was great we saw the whole island .. every resort and in my opinion Los Christianos is the best we walked in to Las Americas one evening and were not too impressed the place to go is Los Christianos fantastic beach there & a bit more up market and traditional.
Taxi in only 5 euros there is a lovely outdoor restaurant practically on the beach called THE BEACH CLUB with live music at night - check it out well worth a visit & for its location very reasonable.
So if you are wondering if you should book these apartments then do you wont be disappointed better still book yourself in directly through website or booking.com and get your own cheap flights we got a week here from Dublin with ryanair and the apartment for the 3 of us for just over €700 if we had booked with panorama it would have cost twice that if not more.
Oh! almost forgot one day sitting outside on balcony having lunch the doorbell rang & my boyfriend returned with a bottle of champayne and a basket of chocs & sweets for my little girl all nicely wrapped up with ribbons & a little card attached to say we hope the room is up to your satisfaction ..... could not believe it!!

My husband and I stayed at the complex in May and enjoyed every minute. We have been visiting Tenerife for over 15 years but have never stayed at this hotel and fancied a change. On arrival, the reception staff were both very helpful and well mannered. Our room was wonderful, very clean and spacious. The grounds of the complex were immaculate and very clean. We stayed self catering so cannot comment on an 'all inclusive' trip in relation to the restaurant but we ate in the restaurant the 1st night and the food was delicious and plentiful. When checking in, one is asked for either 100 euro's or a credir card as guarantee to be attached to your room until the end of the stay as the complex runs a 'no money' facility which means everything purchased on site, i.e. at the bar, restaurant, shop etc results in a receipt being produced. We didn't find this a problem as we were made fully aware of this from reading the reviews prior to our visit. The way I dealt with each receipt was to write the date and the item bought on the top of each receipt and keep in date order, I found this was an easy way to cross check everything listed on the invoice which is produced on checkout. There were no discrepancies on the invoice, everything matched to my receipts exact. The on site shop is small but fully stocked with the essentials. Freshly baked baguettes are on sale each morning which were great for breakfast. We rented a safe for the week which worked out about 17 euros with a 30 euro deposit, again no cash as this is connected to the card or cash left behind the reception. The safe was was located in the reception area which didn't prove a problem at all, I would suggest renting the safe as would I in any hotel abroad, if not just to house ones passports. The hotel runs a shuttle bus service which runs each hour everyday apart from Sundays and outside of siesta time, obviously. This was a great service and was always on time when we used it. The Parque Santiago area of Las Americas were we frequently stay is about 30-40 minutes walk from the hotel and it's all downhill which is quite a nice walk but hard work walking back which we done a few times to enjoy the sunshine which was almost 31 degrees every day. There is a tv in the room but to receive decent channels such as sky news, it is 4 euro's per day for rental which we paid. My family also stayed at the sametime as us and were in a 2 bedroom dulex apartment which again was very clean and spacious. We had our 4 year old nephew with us who fully enjoyed himself, he thought the small pool in the corner of the pool area was just for him as the other children in the hotel used the bigger pools. I would recommend this hotel but I would also recommend should you consider staying there, you take heed of my advise above to avoid any surprises.

First Impressions when we arrived was WOW ! lovely interior and friendly receptionist. The pool looked gorgeous and all the gardens were kept well, our appartment was lovely and BIG and CLEAN, didnt see any bugs as mentioned in previous reviews, Walls are very thin so we could hear the noisy kids next door which was frustrating at 9am when you come away to lay in. We had everything we needed in the appartment apart from the TV selection was useless, you get given 2 free channels one being eurosport which seemed to have snooker on everytime we turned it on or when we needed a night in due to serious hangovers. The other being a business channel for stocks and shares, if you wanted any further channels then you had to pay 4 euros a day as well as 12 euros for the remote control ( but that was just a deposit!) The small expensive shop on the complex shuts at 1pm, opens at 4pm and shuts again at 7pm so be warned its a trek to the next shop, and the assistant seriously has an attitude problem, a smile wouldnt hurt, If your a smoker then a total dilemma was the fag machine which was broken for the whole week we was there so we had to take the long hike to get some. Also the Jacuzzi doesnt work and looks like it hasnt done for some time, oh and me and my partner only realised on our last day that the other side of the pool (opposite the shop) is heated and the other side is absolutely freezing, We didnt swim all week cause it was too cold but realised there seemed to be a lot of people in the other side so we thought we would try it and realised (Signs would be good !) Food at the restaurant I must say is fantastic, my partner had a tasty caeser salad and loved it and I had the best Lasagne ever ! well worth a visit but dont attempt to sample the cocktails as they are dreadful.

Oh and one more thing the long walk to playa las americas and los cristianos was fine in the day time - Hot but majority all down hill, coming back was tough and nighttime i wouldnt attempt it as a lot of prostitutes about and condoms all over the footpath so be warned if you got kids that they dont pick these discusting things up.

We found Los cristianos was better for food (great restaurants) and playa las americas was best for nightlife and drinking - didnt think much to TRAMPS nightclub to be honest, found much better bars

Reccommend a fantastic restaurant in Los Abrigos called Los Roques - A la Carte food but angels are still tip toeing on my tastebuds ha ha !

Well all in all we had a fab holiday, complex was lovely, nightlife was good but not enough wow for me to go back there again

To many other places to visit !

Anyway good luck and enjoy !
