Parque Santiago is, without a doubt, the best self catering appartments as I have ever stayed in.From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were helpful and friendly. We couldn't believe it when we saw our room- an upstairs bedroom, 2 balconies, 2 toilets, great facilities! We were also impressed with the free wine, bottle of water and fruit basket in the room for us, So impressive as my stay was really not that expensive (booked through jet2). As a couple in our mid 20's the location of Parque Santiago is ideal- close enough to some good pubs and restaurants in las america but far away from the nightclubs. We were also 5 min walk from los christianos which has some lovely places to eat and drink to. Parque Santiago also has a supermarket attached- be warned its not cheap (5 euros for a variety pack of kelloggs cereal) however it does sell irn bru- which us scots love!! Can not say enough about how much I loved this place and now considering going back for my honeymoon next October :)

Was very impressed from the moment we walked in.there was wine and fruit in are room everywhere was so clean.i couldn't of picked a better place for my 4yr old.the mini water park was brilliant and so was the park at the front of the hotel.carnt say what the food was like as we didn't go all inclusive and ate out every night.will defiantly be going back to this hotel again.only disappointment was no entertainment on the night.

This is a nice and conveniently located hotel. However you must be warned that
the rooms are rubbish. They are very basic, grotty beds, mattresses and aged decor. The hotel charges for having a safe, hairdryer, iron etc. A small welcome pack in the room would have been nice but then this hotel is just not in that class.

The restaurants are usual run of the mill and the pool area is small, we used the parque Santiago 3 facilities which were slightly better. One particular night we came in from a night out and were sitting our room when security burst in armed with truncheons ready and intent to attack. Once they entered the room the were very rude, aggressive and treated us like scum. Even though all the guys were just sitting and talking. This was reported to reception (the guy looked like Austin Powers) who claimed 'it was perhaps because you couldn't understand Spanish?' As a group of professionals and graduates IO fopund this shockingly bad and insulting.

The incident wasn't dealt with as it should have been, although the security guard, now cooled down, was called and asked what he had said/done. It seems there is a pre-conceived agenda for groups of girls/guys who travel together.

I would avoid this hotel.

Room Tip: All are poor!

Just returned from 1 week holiday at Parque Santiago 4 (glad it was only 1 week and not 2). On arrival my son and his girlfriend could not get into the room due to the key card not working. Security came, opened the door and told them they could not go out (first night??)and it would be fixed the following day (which it was). Throughout the week my son had problems with some kind of infestation in his apartment and was given a spray and had to clog up the cracks in the bathroom door and facings. Not helpful!! Maid had to be told to clean the bugs up.They did get offered another room on our last night. As self catering facilities go the kitchen was well equipped however the wooden sofa and rocking chairs were not comfortable at all. Beds ok. Rooms could do with refurb. Great location. Lovely pool area although too quiet for us. No music to be played and my son and his girlfriend were asked to leave the pool for carrying on with a rubber doughnut. Noticed quite a few elderly couples who did like to complain...about everything anyone younger was doing, including getting security to a crowd of young boys trying to have FUN! (play music at the pool) which was the topic of conversation around the pool area for ages with a lot of pointing going on. Parque Santiago 3 are more lively and let you feel your on holiday but no choice as told which one your going to on arrival. Would go back to the area but not the apartments unfortunately!

Room Tip: Pool view appears really nice at night if you enjoy sitting on your balcony.

At first we were given a room in the tower block (205), the room could not be faulted and was very spacious. However the view out of the balcony directly faced a brick wall.

The staff were very helpful and in the morning they moved us into a much nicer room (2006). This room had a large front garden, as it was a ground floor room.

There was an abundance of sun loungers, so there was never any issues finding one at any point of the day.

Also, the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and unlike other self catering hotels, the staff do not constantly pester you for custom.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Tenerife.

Faultless second time visit!

Had the most beautiful apartment, which had a garden with palm tree, grass and a patio suite! Extremely clean room, staff are all very happy and willing to help you if a problem occurs. All facilities are in working order and clean, which can't be said for numerous 3 star hotels.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better, it is situated on the promenade and a 2 minute walk to a sandy beach of Los Cristianos, and also only a 800m walk to the Veronicas nightlife, with many bars and restaurants on the way!!

I recommend anyone to stay at this hotel as its suits all, and if there's a problem the staff are more than happy to make your stay as easy and pleasant as possible!

Room Tip: If you prefer larger balcony (can fit 6 sunlougers in easily), recommend a room not in the tower sui...
