Went with a group of guys on our annual golfing trip and everyone was in agreement that these apartments were really good.
We had three separate apartments of which two were together and the other a 30 second walk so thanks to the reception for getting us so close together, because this complex is huge.
The apartment I stayed in was two bed roomed with a massive double width balcony looking over the equally as large pool area. We had two fridges (ideal for our beer), a tv showing many channels and the room was cleaned daily and it was always spotless.
The beds were comfortable enough and the shower nice and powerful, although the decoration is probably in need of some modernisation.
Staff at poolside were great, although the pools themselves are salt water which I wasn't too keen on. Drinks are no more than reasonable and the Happy Hour doesn't stack up to all it should be unless you are drinking beer. That said it is a nice place to sit and discuss the day's golf.
Given the age of our group goes from mid 30s to mid 60s it's difficult to keep everyone happy, but this was spot on, clean, great location and decent value.

Thank you parque santiago 4, we arrived and were given 8th floor, where i requested 2 or 3rd floor, however when we arrived at the apart, it was just fab, the balcony itself was unreal, massive that you could hold 100 people, view and sun allday/ Staff brilliant and nothing could fault this complex. parque santiago was so packed so we stayed in 4 for the majority of our stay. The lifeguard Jessica done an amazing job after an incident at the pool........ She was a credit to the complex. Will definitely go back and stayed there again. Great shops, pubs restaurants and william and the reception staff were amazing. The salt water pools were great. \kids loved it. Would recommend this complex to all ages......100 per cent

Just after returning from Tenerife on Saturday.. We stayed at Parque Santiago IV, The apartments are lovely, cleaned daily. we were on the 4th floor and had a lovely view of the pool area. The bar/restaurant at the pool was great, the staff were brillant, very generous with their measures ;). One thing we didnt like was that it closed at about 6 in the evening.. Had a beautiful stay and defo would recommend :)

Just returned from this hotel yesterday! Amazing holiday in lovely apartments! On arrival I was upgraded to a room next to family which was fabulous as I was alone with a small child. A great start to a great holiday! All the staff were helpful and the place was spotless! They were refurbishing the pools which didn't really cause any disruption, there was always one available. Would most definitely return :-)

The reason we booked this holiday (in August 2012) was the price - £375 pp for a fortnight. I have to say for that price we were not expecting much. Unbeknown to us at the time, we would be more than ready for this break after the most awful and prolonged winter season in the UK.

Let's start with the positives.
1. Very friendly staff
2. Excellent team of cleaners, constantly at work
3. Ample sunbeds, individual brolly system attachable to sunbeds.
4. Excellent location.
5. Good pools in PS3 and 4. (A few days before travel, we received an email from Thomson saying that the large pool at PS4 would be shut for a refurb. This was not a problem as we just used PS3 until it opened up again).

The 'could do better'.
1. Booking through a main tour operator, in this case Thomson, does not allow you to pay extra for a sea/pool view room. This means that when you arrive it is a bit 'pot luck' as to the type of room you end up with. I suspect that nine times out of ten you get the worst case scenario and are then left to haggle over a swap. Which is exactly what we did. We spent the first two nights in room 1231 - overlooks a quiet street and the Europe Villa Cortes hotel opposite, but not really much of a view. On day three, in an event that my husband describes as 'worse than the Monica room swapping episode of Friends' we viewed three other rooms, and eventually opted for one in the main Teide tower. Room 604 - perfect pool and sea view. However, we now had a small balcony, whereas on our previous room we had a large balcony with sun loungers. There were sea/pool view rooms with large balconies and sun loungers. How one is able to obtain one of these is beyond me, I could not have tried harder! I know not all will agree, but I am accepting of the fact that these days a better view/larger balcony will normally attract a premium, and I will pay that premium. I want to have the choice and certainty, before I arrive at the hotel, rather than wasting days of my holiday trying to find it.
2. We had a late flight back and like so many other guests, requested to keep the room on for a few hours - more than happy to pay. The hotel was busy and every time I overheard this being requested, it was refused - as was our request. Again, some hotels offer a late checkout facility at booking stage.
3. The rooms - ALWAYS clean, basic and functional. Tired looking - absolutely. No luxury element here, not that we expected any at the price paid. The tower rooms appear to be newer than some of the other rooms viewed. If these rooms were refurbed, this would tick all the boxes for self catering accommodation.
4. There are several eateries attached to PS3 and 4, and you can use all the facilities of both. This is a bit subjective but we found any drink/food attached to PS was quite pricey. Don't get me wrong, if you eat out well in this resort, it's not cheap either, but there is a better quality to be had outside the PS arena.

Just some additional info regarding the resort.
If you book this complex you are in the heart of a lovely area and you can dine around the world re culinary experiences. I list the restaurants we visited, we did not have a really bad experience at any, though we favoured some over others. In our opinion, it is not cheap, that said, we had some amazing food. I have written separate reviews on the following:-

Bianco
Thai Botanico
The Corner Bar
Bombay Blue
Imperial Tai Pan
Mama Rosa
Teppenyaki
Bier Pinte
Tex Mex
La Martina
Montana
Empire steakhouse

One final tip. If you are in our age group head for the Parque de la Paz strip, about a 10 minute walk, for your evening entertainment. Apart from my favourite, Soul Suite, there are several other bars with very good acts....and not too many kids.

If this complex gets a refurb I would definitely stay again. We stayed at the Vulcano last year and being tied to a hotel via half board does not really allow you to explore. I felt we got much more out of the experience this time around.

Stayed at these apartments for a week and had a magic time, although the main pool was under refurbish at the time it did not annoy us. Our apartment was on the ground floor with our own little garden for our granddaughter to play in.The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff are very friendly, there are plenty of good quality restaurants nearby.
Look forward to returning again

Just returned from parque Santiago 4, after a weeks stay.
The apartments are kept very clean by the maids who clean your rooms every day, had a 3rd floor apartment with nice sea view, the two waiters at the pool bar are brilliant/ very friendly.
The apts are in a great area with any amount of bars, restaurants & supermarkets on your door step, and plenty of bars serving ice cold beer for €1 to €1.50 thro the day if u fancy some lubrication.
The only gripe I had is the main pool was drained on our second day and is undergoing refurb currently initially resulting in noise from jack hammers and strong smell from the new paint/ thinners.
Will definitely use these apartments again hopefully when no building work is ongoing...
