the rooms are great but dont rely on the sofa bed for two people they would only be suitable for two small children . The pool area is big and plenty of sun beds but its right on the beach if you prefer that. However the beach further up is not as rocky and easier to get in and out of the sea. The eating areas are cheap enough and serve decent food, the cafe on the beach front does lovely coffees.
The location of the resort is perfect for all amieneties, with shops , restaruants and bars all in walking distance.

Room Tip: higher rooms are quieter but there are no lifts so heavy bags a pain but the sea views are worth it.

I stayed at the parque santiago IV in a studio booked through Jean Bolton. The apartment was number 1003.

POOL
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the hotel, there was ample sunbeds around the pool (september) with parasols also available at no extra cost. Although the pool was a bit chilly it was fine once you got in. The poolside was very clean and had a security presence throughout the day. You are also able to use the pool at the parque santiago III which is a bit bigger, and there is also a jacuzzi (although beware this is not heated and just has the jets). The tiles when you get out of the pool are REALLY hot so remember to bring a pair of flip flops that you don't mind getting wet. There is a poolside bar which serves drinks, snacks and icecreams, but this seemed expensive for the area however we did make use of the free table tennis and €1 air hockey.

CLEANLINESS
We only saw 2 cockroaches throughout the trip, one squashed by the pool and once in playa de las americas, so the hotel itself certainly does not have a problem.

AMENITIES
Reception was so helpful, booking us onto trips and ensuring a pleasant stay. They also have free wifi in the lobby, just connect to the PARQUESANTIAGOIV or you can pay around €1 for 10 minutes on a computer.

ATMOSPHERE
PS4 is much more of a couples apartment. With more children over at PS3 and it is certainly not a place for party groups as any noise is stopped by security very quickly. There is no entertainment in the evenings on site (something we personally enjoyed) and the pool opens from 9am - sunset. (although you can go in at 8 and no one says anything). This however does make it a nice quiet complex. The hotel owned restaurants which surround the complexes are expensive and a 5 minute walk will get you better quality at a better price. The rooms themselves were also very quiet and well soundproofed.

LOCATION
The hotel is ideally located, and very close to the safari shopping centre (check out pull&bear, oysho and bershka for some lovely clothes!) Be warned that the beach right outside the hotel is very rocky, with lots of surfers and certainly not somewhere to sit for the day. However it is a 5 minute walk to las vistas and a 15 minute walk to playa de las americas and the lovely beach of playa la troya (there are beaches before but this was our favourite). It is a lovely promenade to walk along which is bustling till the early hours of the morning and means that both los christianos and las americas are very close! Puerto colon is around an hours stroll in the high heat but is very much worth it.

ROOM
We booked through a private let so I cannot comment on things like the cleaning or maintenance, however I felt in our apartment that the floors were VERY dirty. Also be aware that if booking through jean it is an extra £25 charge for the air conditioning (however well worth the money!). The room apart from this had everything you needed with some english channels, and a small supply of self catering equipment. The beds were much comfier than expected and the room was a lovely location next to the pool with our own terrace (which was still very quiet). Jean was particularly accommodating however was quite difficult to contact when we did have problems (which turned out to be our own fault!).

Room Tip: Certainly recommend a ground floor room.

I stayed in this hotel at the start of September for 9nights and what a great hotel it is. Couldnt fault it in the slightest. Rooms were cleaned every morning, plenty of chairs around the pool umbrellas available free of charge. The reception staff are brilliant so welcoming and helpful. You can buy your trip tickets from the reception at reasonable prices. This hotel is situated in the perfect location bars and resturants left right and centre. The supermarket of the hotel was to the left around the corner from the hotel. There is a pull & bear (clothes shop) right outside the hotel. Some things in the supermarket were expensive like sweets chocolate and crisps. Most resturants we went to were reasonabley priced with exception to the Aberbeen Steak House which is much over rated. They didnt tell us they had a set menu for 10euro. The two nicest resturants we went to were Monte Carlo which is down along the strip facing the beach and the other resturant was Oriental Garden where you could enjoy Thai, Japenese, Indian and Chinese food. It offered great selection and gorgeous food. There is loads to do over in Tenerife from the waterpark i well recommend Siam Park it is a MUST! there is boat trips ona catamaran to go karting, mini golf, jet skiis you name it they more than likely have it. All and all i had a wonderful experience in this hotel and will most certainly be recommending it and hope to be back there myself soon.

Good choice of apartments for location as so many great restaurants close by, many with pretty amazing meal deals and some with very good entertainment. We asked for Santiago 4, garden room and were delighted to be given our choice of accomodation by very friendly and helpful reception staff. Only negative side is the lack of air con in bedroom. Cleanliness of whole hotel is excellent. Salt water in pool not to everyone's taste but found it no problem personally. More annoying was the amount of floating toys and beds being used in pool. Felt this should be discouraged and rules should be observed by pool staff. Bar staff at pool are superb especially Oliver, lovely and so friendly. Will certainly return for a relaxing time!

Room Tip: Personally would avoid the Rotunda especially overlooking the children's play park which can be...

stayed for a week in july, nice welcome upon arrival, free wine and fruit waiting in room which was a nice touch. room was spotless and with 2 single beds but we just pushed them together to make 1 double and the room was cleaned thoroughly everyday. perfect location on the main strip, plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. pool area was amazing, the salt water did let it down though. really enjoyed our stay, definately recommend malibu restaurant and the playa sol restaurant on the sea front on the way to adeje. siam park and mini golf is a must! would definately return, good value for money and always loads to do!

I was woken up every morning around 7 o'clock from hammering and drilling as they were replacing every balcony with new glass ones. There was also no aircom but only a little vent going to the outside, this would've been fine except outside, below our room was a little park where kids were playing and a water fountain that was very noisy at night when it splashed on the floor, it sounded even noisier at night when there was nothing else around. The hotel in general was okay but I wouldn't want to go back to it again.
