“My Experience in Parque Santiago III- March 2013”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

I am now staying in Parque santiago III.
certainly I suggest this apartment hotel for anyone traveling to Beautiful Tenerife.

Good Points
=============================
1. rooms and lobby are very clean.
room furniture and kitchen stuff are beautiful and clean. There are a good selection of cookware in the kitchen. ( No microwave, but we have an oven.).

2. staff are polite and helping.

3.hotel has a beautiful architecture with white walls and red roofs.

4.reasonable price for an excellent quality.

5.Lots of cafe's, bars and restaurants in the hotel shopping area or beside the pool.

6. 2 nice pools for adults and one for children.

7. the area where the hotel is located is very live.

Some Complaints
==============================
1.We are **always** hearing some irritating noise which is due to the construction in the hotel garden.

2.Hair dryer is not included in the room and you should pay for it ( pretty expensive, 15 euro for 1 week.)

3.Jacuzzi is not even warm.it's about 30, 35 degrees.

Tips to do
==============================
1. there is Free WiFi in the hotel Lobby.

2.ask for a room with pool(sea) view.

3.take your hair dryer with you to avoid paying the price on one for 1 week.

4. The fitness area in the garden is free. go and up your soul by running with palm trees in your view.

Room Tip: ask for a room with sea view ( some pool view apartments do not have sea view).

We have stayed in Parque Santiago 3 twice now - Nov 2012 and March 2013 - and recommend the complex and location. It's a lovely complex with all the amenities, a couple of pools, brand new beds and very tasteful restaurants and pool bar, which is quite grand for a pool bar, leather seating etc. The rooms are very clean if typically basic and would benefit from new bathroom suites - rip out the pink please - but there is daily maid service and all in all this is good value for money. The location is unbeatable in the main Avenue de Americas where the tasteful shops and restaurants are, completely flat terrain for easy walking to Los Christianos or Costa Adeje along the sea front. We'll be back again!

Room Tip: Avoid El Nino as there is live music below the rooms but only until 11pm. Half of the rooms are stre...

we have spent 7 days in this hotel with half board via Tui.at

apartment:

hotel was great, we had a big apartment on the 2nd floor with kitchen, living room, large balcony, bathroom and bedroom with lots of closets!
balcony was facing to the main street, where we had a noise from the neighboring restaurants, but it stopped every day at exactly 2300. we would not go to bed earlier, so no problem. if you prefer more quite room, get one facing to the pool/garden area.
apartment was cleaned every day, staff was supernice, smiling all the time!

pool:

pool area was beautiful, with palm trees and plants, there were 2 pools, one was heated [28c] the other was only [20c]. we were there outside of peak season [Marc] so we had no trouble finding sunbathe chairs/umbrellas.

location:

hotel has great location, on one of the main streets, surrounding with lots of shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc.
beach was right in front of the hotel with sandy beach or right next to that rocky beach, which is more typical to the area.
almost all the restaurants have live music every night, you can take a nice walk on at the beach.

food:

breakfast/dinner was in a local restaurant next to the pool area called Atlantis. the inside of the restaurant was average, the selection was ok, but the way how they treated guests and took care of the food and its presentation was exceptional! again the staff was always helpful and friendly, whatever we have asked they took care of. they always had fresh fruits, nice deserts, sushi, main courses, soups etc.

sports:

surf spots were in walking distance [10-15min] you can take lessons, or rent full equipment.
running or riding bicycle on the beach is very nice
hotel has a fitness area with bunch of machines - pretty nice.

overall:

nice location, good food, nice room, friendly staff, nice place to stay!
do not expect a five star hotel, but they provide far the best for the price! we never had to go to the reception for any kind of complain/problem in on week!

we were very satisfied and really enjoyed staying there!

Room Tip: front is more noise, pool facing rooms are more quite

Myself, my husband and two children (aged 2 & 6 months) stayed here 5th-12th march 2013!! We had to change our apartment as the first one we were in faced a road and there was a lot of noise & there was a lot if steps up to the lifts, down to the pool(not easy with two buggies), they changed us to a much bigger, better apartment(we did have to wait a few days) but it was perfect for us!! The apartments have most things you need- English tv(cbeebies was a bonus), toaster, kettle(you have to boil it on the hob), fridge, oven(no microwave)....the pool area is great especially the children's area, there are plenty of sun beds, a pool bar, restaurant & there is a shopping centre you can access from the pool area!! The apartments are perfectly located....very close to the beach and the promenade which is perfect for walking and exploring the area!! We had a really enjoyable week in parque Santiago 3 and will definitely return!!

5 of us stayed here for 3 nights. The 2 bed apartments were fine with a bedroom down stairs and one up stairs which had an internal balcony overlooking the dinning area. if you are unfortunate enough to end up with the sofa bed then dont expect the best nights sleep. The apartment has two bathrooms and small kitchenette. Although we didnt use it it was fully stocked with all the utensils you would need and a good hob, oven and fridge. as previously mentioned no air con which wasnt a problem in march but could be in height of summer. Our block had quite a few steps so not suited for disabled access. There are a couple of bars and restaurants on site with a shopping center under the main hotel. The evening bar was smart and plenty of leather couches and had all sports channels on. The main pool was very cold even though the air temp was a glorious 25, after enduring that we then found the heated pool !!! They also have a nice childrens pool slide area.There were plenty of sun loungers but this is the quiet season so we found people from other hotels using the facilities unchallenged. I would expect peak season for staff to control this to guests only. You can uses all the other Parque Santiago complexes, but we didnt have time to try them out.
The hotel is ideally suited in a nice area of Las Americas. It was quiet at night . We had a car so distance to bars want an issue but we were very close to all bars and restaurants as well some beaches.
For the price we paid and location i would recommend these apartments although found the area to be quite expensive. Los Christianos seemed better value for money if you looked around.

We stayed in Parque Santiago III in late October 2012. While the apartments may be dated, they are clean. The lack of air-con would make it a no-no in Summer. Also there are lots of steps. We had a first floor apartment which while it didn't get the sun, suited us fine. The pool area is fantastic-plenty of sunbeds & parasols with a variety of bars & restaurants nearby. The area has many shops, bars & restaurants & has a nice vibe. The rear of the complex backs onto the ocean with a lovely walk along the coast. Nice slides etc for kids. All in all a very enjoyable holiday.
