Wapa tapa never disappoints . We come to the island 2-3 times a year and book in once or twice a week. Excellent food and great service . There is never a rush and the food is fresh and served artfully. Book and go you will Not be disappointed . Go for the chef menu as it’s value as well as a surprise on each dish. Never change guys x

A good friend recommended this restaurant and raved about it so was keen to try on my holiday, had actually tried last year but hadn't booked so wanted to make sure we got in this time round so booked ahead. We arrived to a fantastic welcome from Carlos, a real character who makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. We quickly ordered some wine and beer and a basket of lovely bread served warm with oil and vinegar, a wee bit more vinegar would have been nice was my first thought but to be honest the bread was so nice I didn't bother asking for more. We then ordered 3 dishes each but the Korean chicken wings on the specials board just sounded so good we ordered an extra portion of them as well! Everything served was great, the baby back ribs were sensational though. The only part of the meal I thought could be improved was the black pudding, it wasn't bad, it was nice, but I've had the great fortune to sample the sensational homemade black pudding at the Ship Inn in Limekilns in Scotland, probably not being fair to compare to that one but I can't help it! After enjoying the wonderful food and service from all the staff we had decided to go the full hog and go for desserts as well, I went for the chocolate cake that I could easily have ate 2 portions of, lovely light and tasty. We eventually asked for the bill and along came with it another drink on the house that was a lovely touch, particularly with the measures of Drambuie they pour! Lastly we got a visit from the chef Adiran which is a lovely personal touch in one of the most friendly and welcoming restaurants I've dined in. Certainly hope to return next month when I head back for a weekend for my birthday. Thoroghly recommend but reserve first to avoid disapointment
