After deciding to take my first ever solo holiday, I opted for somewhere I knew reasonably well but still had places I could explore. Upon venturing further than the Yumbo in Gran Can (for a change) I was recommended Amigos as somewhere to hang out and relax.
You might think it's a little odd for someone who's not all that comfortable with walking into somewhere on their own to go on a solo holiday but you've got to try everything once, right? Anyway, I digress. Upon approaching Amigos in the middle of a reasonably quiet day, I found it to have a welcoming atmosphere and approachable staff. I took a seat, ordered a cocktail and some food, chatted a little with the staff and then used the free WiFi to go online and plan some of my trip.
I was well looked after, met some lovely people and had a decent meal and tasty cocktail. I guess some could say the decor needs a little touching up (it looked fine to me, though) but I found that charming. It's clearly run by people who care about the place, and service is high on their priorities.
I'll definitely swing by again on my next visit! :)
