We visited this hotel by accident, after having to change our booking the day before we flew. What a good decision! The hotel is clean, if slightly dated, but this adds to the charm. Excellent food, great service and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I've read reviews that say the restaurant is like a cattle market, but we didn't experience this at all. There were a lot of German/Dutch visitors while we were there, but they were in no way favoured in the hotel. The usual sunbed reserving with towels goes on, but doesn't it everywhere? We never struggled to find a bed so this wasn't an issue. The wellness centre is an absolute must - absolutely fantastic and a real asset to the hotel. We'll definitely be going back!

2nd time at this hotel and great value for money in ALL areas. Ok air con would be great but then we would all be paying a lot more. For all the guests who complain about this hotel - why do they not stay in the UK and compare what they get for their money!! Anyone who is thinking about booking this hotel just go and you won't be disappointed

This hotel is not the best and not the worst I have stopped at. A couple of things that have annoyed me while stopping here. There is a car park just for staff and within this car park there is ample parking for all the staff. They seem to be very lazy more on this later. There prefer to block residents in as its closer to the staff entrance than to walk from the staff car park. Out of the 7 days we stopped here we used the car a total of four days. All four days we had to report to reception to get cars moved. The staffs like to double park or Triple Park. If stopping here don’t hire a car use a taxi transfer or the bus. Reception staffs are very pleasant along with the chamber maids. I’m impressed with the chamber maids they do a good job on the whole but some areas need to be improved. Staffs on the bar try to avoid all inclusive members as they don’t seem to get tips. They are very slow on the bars and are very rude. Did not even manage to get a smile out of any of them. The restaurant could do with some management. It’s like a meat market and stocks do not get filled up that often or quick enough. You can be waiting 15 plus mins for cutlery and condiments can only be topped up once before service once this is gone then it’s gone. The facility seems to be a bit under staffed. Must visit places within the hotel are the roof terrace on floor 8 with Jacuzzi and the wellbeing centre in the basement, there is a whole array of things to be done down there. From sauna and steam rooms, ice box and deadsea pool. Along with treatment rooms etc if you want to spoil yourself. There is also an arcade for use which is good fun. The food is average and very similar all the time on all three sittings. There is free wi-fi here at the hotel but its touch and go if it connects. The pools are a good size and there are plenty of beds but these can sometimes get full. The hall ways are very basic and noise travels far so be careful of this. Over all it’s a very grand looking hotel and money has been spent on it. Just a shame it’s the wrong staff running it. This hotel could offer so much more

Room Tip: ground floor by the bar is a good central location. if on a floor try not to be at the end of the co...

I arrived at the Eugenia Victoria for a 12 day all-inclusive holiday. I was there about 12 years ago. This time I went all-inclusive for the first time. The staff and food excellent. Staff always polite and helpful. Dining room staff always greeted you when you went in the room for your food. I did treat myself this time and asked for a room with a balcony overlooking the pool - was given the wrong room at the start because in there words "the company does not normally book such rooms." I did tell them that they should simply check with the travel company as I did ask them to make the special arrangements. Anyway I was given room 543 which was excellent.

A very good hotel but it is looking tired and does need a lot of renovation - put in air-conditioning and would be rated an excellent 4 Star hotel.

It is a great hotel but does need a massive facelift. I will go there again as the food and staff are excellent

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony and overlooking the pool

2nd stay here with my partner and this time we came with a friend who had a single room. I was shocked that the single had no windows that opened all screwed down and no ac it like being caged we where so sorry for our friend never book a single room here it's awful. The entertainment is so poor and loud the acts have not changed since last year. The food and wine is good. The spa area is the best thing about this hotel. We would not be staying here again.

Stayed for the first time in May last year. Revisited in September this year and still as good. Very clean, helpful and friendly staff and they have niw finished the upgrade of the wifi for the whole hotel.
Haven't found the lack of air conditioning a problem. A large ceiling fan over the bed us just enough.
The spa is magnificent. Brilliant for relaxing after a hard day at the pool
Would gave given 5 stars but the evening entertainment was very weak.

Room Tip: We were a bit concerned when we were given room 856 the last room on the top floor but it was very s...

We both fell in love with the hotel last year, and looked forward with much anticipation to returning again for our annual 2 week break this year.

Not only did the reception staff fulfil our request, asking for a room on the same floor as last year, they actually managed to give us the same room! Could not have asked for more. The reception staff were most helpful and accommodating.

Can’t really add much more to all the excellent well deserved reviews praising this absolute gem of a hotel. The hotel interior is full of charming character, the extensive grounds are well laid out, lovely pool in full sun for most of the day, plenty of sun loungers, a great place to chill with no overpowering music. They have the mix just right.

Lovely large interior bar/lounge area, also large bar and seating area outside where you can enjoy a fag with your drink. Premium spirit brands on offer ( with all inclusive) including Johnny Walker Black Label Bliss! Bar open till midnight! All drinks at bars at night in served in glasses. No delays in getting served at the bar, very attentive helpful bar staff.
We especially enjoyed the hotel’s laid back atmosphere and friendliness of the fellow guests, mainly from Holland and Belguim. We recognised a few faces from last year and spoke to several guests who said they return every year, cant get a better recommendation than that.
Again looking forward to returning for our third stay in 2014
