We had money stolen from our room. Hotel staff totally in helpful and couldn't be bothered to help, didn't believe us!!!
Manager wouldn't even call the police.
We are so disappointed as had been really enjoying the hotel before.
This totally ruined our stay and will never be returning. If you are staying hear be very aware of your belongings and cash as there are clearly some very bad staff working in this hotel.

I stayed here begining of may with my partner we stayed in room number 831 it was dated but functional and spotless. Bathroom was large and bed was very comfortable. The only down fall about the room was no air conditioning but the rooms are being updated just now. The food was always hot and a good variety to chose from I would recommend you sit out next to the bar next to the spa entrance for lunch and try the steak on hot stone you cook it the way you like it and its free in all inclusive. The alcohol was fantastic if you are all inclusive branded drinks are included you just need to ask for it. The best thing about the hotel tho is the spa just relaxing in the dead sea pool and steem rooms or the other 3pools and jacuzzi gets you ready for the rest of the night. Will be back next year again.

I always come to this hotel however what spoiled it was the attitude of the girl with the dark hair and glasses who works in the spa. She has a definite attitude and should not be working in this hotel as all the other members of staff are wonderful especially Casandra

She should remember that myself and the other guests are keeping her in a job.

The phrase " Chewing a wasp" springs to mind and I shall be reporting her to the management. That´s the third time she had been very rude to myself and other guests!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor to have a spectacular view over resort

We booked this hotel last minute. We requested a double bed (not two singles) and a room that gets the sunshine, high up (overlooking the palm trees) On arrival to the hotel, our request had been fulfilled. Success!

Room 618 was gonna be our home for 2 weeks. There was a new double bed (soft and decent!!) with a ceiling fan. After that was the bathroom (bath, loo etc) and then the lounge area. The lounge was pretty big, with a large sofa opposite the tv, and a two seating dinner table. It was large and spacious, great if you take kids.

The hotel is a big "V" shape, with even rooms on one side, and odds on the other. The "even" numbered rooms get the sunshine all day, and there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. At night, the rooms cool down. But between 8am and 8pm, the rooms are pretty warm! So if you want a cool room, ask for an odd number. Also, the odd numbered rooms get a cracking view of Playa Del Ingles and the ocean.

---We had a problem with our room (water was leaking into downstairs) and we got moved to the cooler side, and it really is a lot cooler!! You don't get sun on your balcony, but you do get a cooler retreat!

Breakfast and dinner are buffet style... and it's typical of many buffets in Spain. For what you pay, the food is pretty good but nothing spectacular. People say that it's "repetitive" but they have a special themed menu every night - though on "America" night they had "tuna hamburgers....." hmmmm....

The poolside was lovely, lots of loungers although they are reserved early (some the night before!) There are two poolside bars, both serving drinks and hot snacks (the steak on hot stone was lovely but order early because they run out!) The pool had a large shallow end and a large deep end (3m) so perfect for all swimmers. By the poolside, there is also a small spa pool, a hot tub and a cooler plunge pool

There is tonnes to do at this hotel!! The gym is very well equipped. There are all the amenities by the pool side. The underground spa and sauna is pretty impressive!! Free for all to use at the hotel, the spa has 3 pools, plus a salt pool (to float in) steam room, sauna, sensory showers (mist, downpour, jets etc) plunge pool (very cold!!) massage etc......... please please please pay the spa a visit!! Also, the roof solarium is lovely and peaceful, with views all around. Beware though, there are no umbrellas up there, so it's full-on sunshine!

For the kids, there is a full entertainment program... water polo, bowls, dancing and mini disco, squash etc. There was always something going on for them.

For those who don't want to spend all day at this hotel, the Yumbo centre is a 10 minute walk away down one road. The beach 10-15 mins walk, but the hotel has a free bus to the beach. Also, a taxi ride will cost only €3-€4 (taxi's are VERY cheap here)

If you stay at this hotel, don't pack a beach towel!! It costs €1 (plus €9 returnable deposit) to hire one, and they're cracking towels! Save the weight (especially if you fly with Ryanair!)

The only real downside was the evening entertainment. The first night we stayed, we were watching the stars listening to the live music. It was nice. It was mainly German music (folk or pop, we don't know.... but it wasn't mainly for English people!) We knew some of the songs (Tie a Yellow Ribbon, Moon River, etc) and it was pleasant. The next night, it was the SAME music. The music is very loud, and we couldn't have the balcony door open in the 6th floor! Bare this in mind.....

Also, noise travels though the rooms pretty easily. If you get a group of party-goers in the room next door, you'll know about it at 4am!

The hotel is very German..... The hotel seems to cater only for German people, and English people are an afterthought. If you haven't stayed a primarily-German hotel before, there are cultural differences that you'll pick up on (just stare back!)

The ladies who work at the hotel are a true asset - friendly, hard working, and smiles all around. The men, however, seem to be burdened by every request. A few times at the bar, the barman would tut and sign when you asked for a drink (even though we'd tip them, and it was a free drink!) However, premium liquor is available as part of all inclusive, so ask for it.

We had a lovely week, and if it wasn't for the loud evening music, we would go back. We felt secure in the hotel, and could leave the balcony door open safely. The price was reasonable, the majority of the staff were happy and friendly, and the hotel itself wasn't half bad.

Room Tip: For sunshine all day, ask for an "even" room. For a cooler night's sleep, ask for an...

the faults . they need more staff. this is a big hotel and very well run credit to the manager ,
how ever this was my 3rd stay at this hotel and my last , the bar staff are very ignorant . the bar service was very poor , very little information about the hotel on check in .i think the staff could make more effort . although the girls ie waitress's are a credit to your hotel they work really hard .
as for the men especially on the pool bars not very welcoming they seem to keep you waiting and ignore that your there . as for all inclusive i didn't get my moneys worth as i would of liked because they put me of going to the bars . i used the self service bar more for my drinks in plastic cups .
good points . very clean . good pool area. good food. nice rooms . vital fitness centre.

after 3 vists now to the Eugenia am sorry to say this was my last . but i know the hotel will still pull the visitor's alike and and will be successful for many years to come . and i have had the most fantastic holiday . as i say good with faults . employ more staff . i was in room 644 with good views ,

Room Tip: go for high floors and get the view .

very nice hotel , food a bit worse than last year but still in a very good way. staff excellent after initial problem managing director asked to speak to us . the first meeting was not to our liking (the result) a few days later they came back to us with another offer and it was well recieved by us. so if you have a problem write a letter to the manager it may pay off. overall excellent hotel would reccomend it as always been four times now. also if your all in ask for top brand drinks at bar as they are inclided. eg: smirrnoff

Although this hotel is classified as three stars, it is far superior to many four star hotels we have stayed at. All inclusive is definitely the choice, the staff go far beyond their call of duty. Very friendly personalised service. We stayed here for a week, wishing our experience was a lot longer. Located in the heart of playa del ingles this is definitely a great choice for those looking for a great experience with that personal touch!
