Beautiful hotel. Very clean, daily maid service, excellent food and great staff. Choice of two bars and pools x only negative not a lot within walking distance out with hotel. Courtesy bus to and from the beach and Massapolomas. Very restricting.

Many reviewers here mention the dining hall as disappointing. We were not unhappy but if you are demanding diner, beware that places like this which feed 900 people three times a day tend to be run on an industrial scale. We thought the choice was good, some dishes much better than others.
Apparently some people like sprouts at breakfast (we have photos). Hmmm.
The location is excellent - quiet enough but a short walk to Playa del Ingles (lively and hassley) and the lighthouse area (much more relaxed). People seemed happy with the buses; local taxis are cheap and have meters.
We stayed in the apartment block, which we liked. By contrast the main block seemed densely packed in with a shadowy pool area full of constant noise.
The naturist sunbathing balcony is an embarrassment: a dozen battered sunbeds on the roof, carpet ripped, paint battered. Great views from there though (outwards, as it were).
We met many people who were returning several times to this hotel.

This was also the holiday where I realised for the first time that All Inclusive attracts heavy drinkers.

Room Tip: High up gets noise, low down there's less light. Fourth was recommended to us.

restaurant feels like a school canteen at times, ANGRY HUNGRY guests, no tables, dirty tables, meal times rushed due to lack of tables and more staff needed. Stageing meal times may be a solution or opening the food hall 5.30pm instead of 6.30 pm. the hotel is very good otherwise just needs the meal time problem sorting out quickly.

Have just come back from a week at this hotel, 27/1 to 3/2, and have to agree with many of the already posted comments. The hotel and our room (standard) was very clean and well appointed and the staff friendly However it is really let down by the dining experience. The hotel restaurant is simply to small for the hotel and cannot cope. Expect to queue for a table between the peak times of 7pm to 9pm. Tables in the restaurant are basic, plain white tablecloths with no decorations and are arranged in straight lines 8 to 10 inches apart. Everything is self service, including drinks which are from vending machines, waiting staff emphasis is on clearing and relaying vacant tables as quick as they can for the next user which often means you are left to eat your meal surrounded by your dirty crockery from the previous course. The food was of average quality at best and the choices limited. This is not the relaxed leisurely dining experience normally associated with a holiday in the sun. The *all inclusive* package is also not as all inclusive as you might think, everything other than food and locally produced drinks has to be paid for in advance. This includes key to room safe (21 euros), pool towels (20 euros), Wi-Fi, coffee or tea makings in your room, and so on. I spent over 70 euros on the first day just on these extras. There are two distinct pool areas, the 'noisy pool' which is a typical Spanish costa poolside with stage and loud music thumping out all day and a much quieter and pleasant pool area with a well appointed poolside bar tucked away behind the suites apartment block, aim for this if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. The evening poolside entertainment finished at 11pm so night time noise was not an issue, however I suspect this might be more of a problem in the warmer months with warmer evenings encouraging people to hang around the poolside bar late into the night. The hotel is situated a long way from the beach which is a good half hour walk away, however there is a free bus service running between the hotel and the beach and taxi's are cheap 4/5 euros depending or where you pick it up from. All in all I cannot recommend this hotel because of the restaurant.

Room Tip: Go for a suite if you can afford it they are away from the main pool area, or go for a high room in the standard room block they get more afternoon sun and are quieter.

Visited this hotel at beginning of January for a week with my husband and son the best part about the hotel was the room which was modern an clean with a great walk in shower. Now for the negatives il start with the food we went all inclusive which was a big mistake we ended up paying to eat eat out. The food is not cooked properly with chicken and sausages pink and cold in the middle not much choice everything is left there so it goes cold drinks always had run out so big lines if people waiting it the restaurant was set out like a school canteen and you were lucky to get a table. This hotel is catered for the German market and Scandinavians which to be honest we're so rude especially to the English if you want a cocktail don't bother they are pre made in cartons and warm absolutely disgusting. The kids club activities consisted of a wooden box with holes cut out so the children could hit balls through it and they didn't even bother to include the british children. There are 2pools the main pool there is hardly any sun the other pool was much better but you need to get up at 6am to get a sun longer as towels are put down early we ended up going to a different hotel to use the pool. The snack bar is very limited serving Things like veal and chips which wasn't cooked very well the were still hard. Entertainment was very poor some outside activities were ok but there was a man inside playing piano very Badley every night In could go on and on but I won't this is not a 4star hotel if you want a good time do not book this hotel

Room Tip: Book another hotel
