Had a great time - weather was fabulous. Food was great - sometimes a little bit too much orientated to the german guest. But the kids always had something they could eat and since there was always fresh fish, so i was always happy. They had such fun with the entertainments team during the day - thanks to Carlos, Trina and Sandra.
They could have better food in the pool bars for the all inclusive guest - but we just tended to go into the restuarant and sit outside anyway.

Room Tip: If you can go in the Suites - these are nearer the quieter pool and better for young children.

Just came back yesterday had a great week, best hotel we have stayed in we were all inclusive.
The choice of food in the restaurant was great there was a large range of choices. Had most meals in the restaurant all were of he same quality.
Drinks were great as well help yourself in the restaurant and the bar by the pool. They had branded soft drinks own spirits and wine, the lager was Tropical, tea/coffee and water machines, also had a slush machine in the pool bar for the kids.
Snacks from the bar were great my son couldn't get enough of the hotdogs and my husband liked the hamburgers. Also could get little tubs of ice cream.
The room was refurbished had very comfy beds had a kettle in the room with cups, sachets of tea, herbal tea hot choc and coffee. Also there was a fridge and the usual hair dryer in the bathroom. The shower was one of the best showers we have had very refreshing. Only one thing in the room the choice of tv channels is not that good we could get 2 children's channels pop and pop junior a few music and news channels and 3 true movie channels and some rooms could not even get all these. The volume is limited can't turn it up too loud but is just ok. We were in room 602 with a lovely view of the pool and could see the stage for the animation team shows.
Animation team they were great they work very hard to keep you entertained and are very friendly. Only problem is it takes awhile to adjust to hearing them saying everything 3 or 4 times in different languages. Watched a few of the night shows which were very funny and entertaining.
A 5 min walk from the hotel is a centre with bars and restaurants just turn left out of the hotel cross the busy main road and keep walking you can't miss it has a few English bars the busy one was always Kim's bar and the drinks were cheep we spent one night there and only spent 10 euros we couldn't believe it.
No problem getting the free bus went to both beachs, you get a card from reception with the times on just go out of reception turn right and wait at the green gates. Bus was clearly marked to the beach.
Jumbo centre about 10-15 mins walk again turn left out of the hotel when you get to the main road go down it past Pizza Hut keep walking down and you will come to it. We didn't go there on a night as is mainly for the gay community but it is a big centre with shops, restaurants and bars. Spoke to a few people who had been on a night and they had a good time.
Kasbah was bit further on than the Jumbo centre we got a taxi cost 3-4 euros. Again a large selection of bars including 3 Irish bars, Linekers bar, MTV bar and Pasha also shops and restaurants.
Bad points -
None about the hotel apart from the fact English were a minority we struggled to find people to talk to ended up making friends with people who were on our flights. The rest of the people were made up of Germans, Spanish, Swedish and a few other nationalities. The hotel was very quite as well. The guests were in rooms 402 and above. The lower floors were empty.
Playa del Ingles was very quite only time we saw loads of people was at the beach. Every pub or restaurant we saw or went into was either empty or had a couple of people in.
Went to the Jumbo centre during the day and it was like a ghost town but that was the same at he Kasbah which we visited on a night.
Be aware of people trying to hassle you to take trips or go to different beaches or timeshares or selling cheep tat. We got so fed up with these that after 2 days we didn't venture out of our hotel it nearly spoilt our holiday. I wouldn't even try and be polite and say your not interested as they still will hassle you it got very stressful especially when you have a child with you.

All in all the hotel was great and made our holiday as venturing out of he hotel during he day was very stressful. Think this could be due to the Island been so quite so everybody was desperate for your money they were like vultures.

Room Tip: Pick a room on a higher floor over looking the pool.

My husband, two daughters and I stayed for a week all inclusive. All the staff were excellent and very pleasant and helpful. Check in was smooth and fast. We were always made to feel welcome. The girls used the kids club and loved it - they made friends with children from Spain, Sweden and England. The food and rooms were excellent. The entertainment was first class, some nights we laughed from start to end. A fabulous week and we wished we could have stayed longer.

I think the internet service is appalling, you have to pay for it which is most unusual, then it logs out most of the time.
The facilities and food are great and the hotel is really well maintained, the gardeners do an excellent job, but i feel the staff are rude and arrogant in general (particularly the bar staff and receptionists), they need to remember that people are paying good money for a service. They act as though they are doing you a favour..... Not good service... The cleaning team and animation team are excellent.
The location is not brilliant, however they have a free shuttle bus which is fab.

Room Tip: There are 2 separate buildings, one of hotel bedrooms and one of apartments..... Book the apartments, book a top floor 7 or 8

Searching for some warmer weather, my husband and I spent a week here at the end of March.
The room we were allocated was a superior double, which was well appointed, clean and had views of the pool and sea.
At this time of year the hotel caters for the hoards of pensioners that made up 3/4 of the clientele.
Plus point.....there were no noisy children to disturb our sunbathing!
Food was very repetitive, with the same meals every other evening and always on the cold side.
The restaurant is far too small for the size of hotel and there are a lot of add ons even though we were on an all inclusive tariff.
All in all it was fine for getting a break away to the sunshine at a reasonable price!
