Just home from a 7 night stay here with 2 friends across 2 apartments. Cannot understand the bad reviews.

The first thing I will say is - make sure you rent a fan. The rooms are roasting and the ones facing the front of the hotel are quite noisy so if possible, get a fan and close the window. The hotel faces on to 4 or 5 bars all of which were playing different music until 3/4am. This wasn't really a problem for us as we are all in our 20s and were out most nights anyway, however, if you intend getting to sleep early, rooms at the front are not for the faint hearted!
There are 3 pools so there was always sunloungers- no matter what time of day. Rooms were clean, towels were changed and there's a really handy little shop downstairs. Free wifi in the lobby.

As regards food - mulligan's bar across the road is fantastic. And the main thing is it's safe as we found the kasbah centre to be dodgy as HELL. Avoid! Stick to the yumbo and the bars that are directly across from the hotel.

Otherwise, cannot fault it.Helpful staff and perfect for a week away with friends. If you want somewhere quieter, then pay the extra money and stay down nearer to the beach. Do your research.

I am writing this whilst staying at Jardin del Atlantico it is now 00.35 myself and my son are up playing games as it is too noisy to sleep. Irish bars, karaoke and night disco all opposite and goes on till 4am. I booked the room stating i had a child so wouldn't have thought they would put us in noisiest part of building. On arrival check in quick and easy. Had to pay extra for safe. Rooms cleaned most days always fully equipped with towels and toilet roll. 4 different pools cleaned every day. Food good. Night entertainment poor and the bar shuts at 11pm on the dot. Not bad stay just need to put families away from front of building.

I was so anxious after reading all the bad reviews but it really isn't that bad. It's a 3* hotel. Yes it's dated and needs a revamp. Twin beds in the room with wardrobe and dressing table. Lounge had a small kitchen area with coffee machine, toaster, kettle and hot plate, and fridge freezer. Table and chairs. Sofa bed and seating on the balcony. All adequate for our hols. We did find the bedroom got hot so we slept on the sofa bed. The hotel did get noisy at night through other guests and with the bars out the front it is very loud. No air con but we took our fan. Can hire a fan for €1 a day in supermarket. We didn't hire the tv remote as worked the tv from the back. Hired the safe although we did leave belongings left out in the room and were all there and never touched. No hair dryer. Always something to eat and was lovely. 4 pools the main pool with bar always busy but there are 3 others to choose from. No daytime entertainment. Evening entertainment isn't really that good and it's held in the bar which closes at 11pm. Pool bar has snacks around 4.30pm and icecream all day. Maids did a good job everyday and left clean towels, made up beds and plenty of toilet rolls. Pool tables and air hockey. Wifi is chargeable but the bar has free wifi. This didn't bother us though. Beach within walking distance. Trips not too bad catamaran for dolphins is packed with hardly any seating so would recommend choosing a smaller boat to see the dolphins. Definitely hire a car as there's plenty more of the island to see by yourself. Overall an enjoyable holiday and you get what you pay for...if you want 5* then pay for it and go elsewhere.

Okay this place is not a luxury hotel but it is cheap, clean and the staff were friendly. I stayed on a self catering basis so cannot comment on the food but for a cheap and cheerful self catering stay it is absolutely adequate.
