This hotel was pretty good. The room quality was alright, beds wasnt very comftble. Both rooms ive stayed in has been extremely clean. Both rooms I've stayed in has been very small. The balcony was pretty small. We were at the front hotel and had an awful view (trees&roads) last time I visited I had a sea view. All of the staff are nice, none of them are rude and they all seem to make an effort and spoke pretty good English. I found that I thought the outside of the hotel was better than the inside, everything is so nicely looked after. The pool bar offered a great range of drinks, the snacks you can buy too are okay but aren't the best. The restraunt food was awful both times I've been to the hotel I never go in for breakfast or tea! The entertainment is awful, infact that'd be an understatement, so would advise this hotel if you have children. There are 3 pools and they're all a decent size. There is a tenis court too. The hotel is in an amazing place, ring next to a supermarket literally a 2 minute walk. The beach is 5 minutes away if that. There's a mini shopping centre with a few restraunts too. Is a lovely clean place and I've been back and I'll go back.

Stayed at the Beverly park for 5 night's with my husband. Hotel is clean but the room's are quite basic, no hairdryer or safe in room, But they are clean!! The entertainment in this hotel is pant's!! Most night you have A piano player called Osker & twice after his show we had A fashion show!! But this was A very cheap stay in an all inclusive hotel & suppose you get what you pay for!!! I thought the hotel staff were quite rude & were not very helpful when trying to find out information on trip's. On the plus side of this hotel you walk out of the back gate 2 minute walk & your on the beautiful beach & about a 10 minute walk to all the shop's bar's & restaurant's. The weather was gorgeous whilst we were there & no problem's getting A sunbed everyday. The food is pretty good too with lots of choice.
All in all not A bad holiday.

Having seen all the good and bad reports about this hotel we decided to bite the bullet and go, so glad we did.
Chech-in took two minutes including directions to lifts and room (in english). We were in room 201 which looked out to the front of the hotel (away from the sea). Even though there is a main road a few meters away the traffic noise was never a problem with the balcony door open or closed. The beauty about this side of the hotel is you don't get the sun blazing into you'r room so it is cool during the day and night, and being low down our view was of beautiful trees. The room itself was spotless. you have a small flatscreen T.V on which you can get BBC world news and CNN plus numerous Spanish programmes, but who goes on holiday to watch the telly, The bathroom was large with hot water that never ran out, and maids that changed your towels etc so often it would make you dizzy. So don't worry about the accommodation.

We were there Half board and I will start with breakfast. Start off with Cornflakes etc and bread (or toast) accompanied with great coffee (or tea). Then there is the fry up. Lets just say we were not hungry until dinner.

Dinner, start with a choice of soups, then hit the salad bar, then main course and finally desert. Out of 14 nights we never went hungry (O.K I now know what Goat tastes like but I believe in the old 'when in Rome'). You will get you'r pizza's chips etc, but try it, it is good, and the restaurant is very well organised. If you don't like the buffet style food serving, go early and you will have no problem. There is a large selection of food so what we, and others did, was walk around, figure out what you want get a plate and go to those places.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. It is what it says in the brochure what with tennis, pools and a great animation team. If you go out the back gate you are literally 2 mins to the beach. From there you can walk to Playa del Ingles (approx. 20 mins),or Maspalomas (a bit longer)

A general note for everyone though. Drink prices in the hotel are expensive (2.50 euro for a half pint of beer) and you all inclusives get your's in plastic glasses during the day time, but you do get to serve yourselves, you get glass at night. Also do not change you'r money at reception, you get a better rate everywhere else.

Will we be back? Already booked for September, and we will be raising our plastic glasses to you if you are there in September.

Have a great time, we did

The Beverly Park Hotel was in need of some tender loving care. I know it was only a 3* but we have been to other 3* hotels wich were better than this. It was filled with Spanish, Russian, German and Netherland guests, in fact if you met another English guest you said snap. The food was adequate with a lot of emphasis on continental meals. We had to complain numerous times about the plates which were stone cold, by the time we stood in line for other food items the luke warm food on the cold plates was completely cold by the time we got back to the table.

We had problems with the rooms. We had 3 in total........ we had asked for a quiet room because my husband is a very light sleeper and we were put in a room on the first floor above the entertainment room, we asked to be moved and were given a room on the seventh floor. This was ok for a few days until we went back to the room to shower and change for the night to find there was NO hot water at all. We got cold water but as the tap was turned to the hot the water just disappeared. On ringing reception we were told a plumber would be called but they did not know how long it would be until it was fixed, so we both had a cold wash and took a shower the following day. This was ok until the same thing happened that next night. On compaining again we were told the same thing. We again had a cold wash to get rid of all the sun cream and on the way to dinner I called at reception to let them know we were upset with the situation. We were offered another room on the second floor, they said the water pressure was not enough for rooms 754, 756, 757 and 758 and they had had complaints from these other rooms too. I asked if we could look at the room the next day but was told we had to look at it and make our minds up immediately because the hotel was fully booked. We looked at the room and decided to take it - we were informed that we would have to move straight away so my husband and I went back to our seventh floor room, packed everything up and transfered it to the room on the second floor. We had no more problems with water in the new room but I felt sorry for whoever got our room on arrival to the hotel.
The reception staff were helpful but the bar staff left a lot to be desired, I think they would do well to go on a customer care course. They seemed friendly enough with spanish and german guests. The hotel is not in a easy position and indeed if you have walking difficulties is not suitale at all. You have to climb 64 steps just to reach a couple of bars/restaraunts and shops so there is not much to do on the doorstep.

My husband and I have just returned from Gran Canaria and we thought the hotel was lovely. The staff were really friendly and the rooms although fairly basic were kept really clean. The food was great, we went half board but would have liked to be all inclusive, so much choice and cooked really well. The downside was that the drinks at the hotel were expensive. The grounds were lovely and we had a great view from our hotel room. The weather was perfect, hot and sunny with a nice breeze. The hotel is very near the beaches and lovely promenade. The main pool was very cold but I'm sure would warm up in the summer months. All in all a great holiday.

Me (30) and my partner (34) stayed in this hotel at the end of January for 7 nights on half board. We booked it 3 weeks in advance and got a perfect deal for this winter sun holiday.

Before booking, we checked the reviews on this website and some of them were not the greatest. However, I am so happy we chose this hotel, and if you want a nice and relaxing holiday, do not think twice. Great hotel with outside pools, room with lovely bathroom and amazing see view, helpful staff, great service, wonderful choice and quality of food, excellent location, beach within 2 minute walk...everything was just perfect - much much better than we expected. Do not take notice of some of the negative reviews about the food (just stay at home if you want to eat sausages, burgers and chips) or no english TV channels (again, stay at home if you want to watch TV, this is a holiday to enjoy the sun and beach).

Beverly Park hotel is conveniently located if you want to move around too. Firstly, it is about 25 minutes from the airport by the local bus (no. 66) that stops just outside the airport and drops you by the hotel. Secondly, you can take local buses to other places/villages from this bus stop.

We went to Las Palmas (bus no. 30) for a day trip but there was not much to see and the sightseeing bus was a waste of money.

Other day we went to Puerto de Mogan (bus no.1), beautiful village and a harbour where you can go on Yellow Submarine tour. This is a good experience, but quite pricy. Great for children though. I am glad we went, but would not go again. From here we took a glass-bottom boat to Puerto Rico and then back to the hotel by the local bus.

Another morning we went to Palmitos Park (bus no.45), a great park with lots of exotic animals, birds and plants that is located in the mountains with wonderful views. Within the park you can visit amazing parrot, bird of pray and dolphin shows.

In the afternoon we went to Aqualand which is located down the road (7km) from the park. We think that the Aqualand is outdated, overpriced and although you pay a high entrance fee, you have to pay extra for the lockers and the sun loungers inside. Not really worth visiting. If we knew we would not rush from Palmitos Park and stayed there for a whole day.

From the hotel we walked to Maspalomas Dunes that are just amazing and the camel ride was fantastic and reasonably priced. You can walk by the beach or along a great promenade with palm trees around towards the dunes or to the centre of Playa del Ingles.

Great, great, great experience and the hotel ... I just wish I was still there!!!

Hope you have a good time!

PS: We were deciding between Green Field Hotel and Beverly Park. When we walked around Green Field Hotel and saw how close to the motorway this hotel and the pool is, we knew we made a great decision to stay in Beverly Park.

Was really happy in this hotel. Lovely atmosphere, great choice of fresh food, spacious and uncrowded pool areas for sunbathing/switmming, despie 550+ rooms and all full. Very convenient from Airport, bus no 66 leaves 20 past the hour and for €3.70 drops you outside in 25/30 mins. Room was on 6th floor, bed comfortable, small tv, remote control at reception for deposit of €15. Only English speaking channels are CNN & BBC World. Quiet at night so no disturbed sleep. Sunny balcony with amazing sea views. Was just lucky to get this as hadn't paid extra for sea view room. Shower could have been a bit more powerful, but small thing in the overall scale of things. Dining room was very well managed despite there being over 1000 people staying. There was no sense that you were being rushed to finish your meal to free up your table as was the case in 4 Star hotels I have stayed in. Very near prom for lovely sea breezes and walks. 5 min walk uphill to small shopping centre with everything you could want in it. Windy while I was there so no one on the beach - January! Pool areas were sheltered though so all ok there and 2 jacuzzis, lovely. Games room also beside one of the pools, also sauna. Reception staff very helpful. Can't understand some previous negative comments.....if you smile, others smile back! Bedside light stopped working, contacted reception, 2 mins later a man arrived, knocked and replaced bulb. Excellent service. 5 internet spots in reception area - 50c for 10 mins, €1 for 20 mins. Reasonable. My whole stay was very enjoyable and will definitely be back! I was only staying 3 nights but would have liked to stay longer. Bus back to Airport stops 30 mins past the hour outside hotel. All in all a great hotel!
