One of the pricier restaurants in Playa del Ingles. My girlfriend and me visited it one evening because of the recommendations on Tripadvisor, and we got disappointed. The atmosphere is cosy and the presentation is better than many other places including some free appetizers - but it all falls apart when you get the real food.
We ordered a garlic bread and garlic shrimps. The garlic bread was so hard - like when you heat bread several times, it just crumbled. The shrimps were ok, but we would've liked more bread to go along with the olive oil. Without, the dish was too small for the price, because of the very few shrimps actually in it.
We then got our main course, a fillet steak with mushroom sauce. As standard you get the meat, the sauce and rice. The meat was well prepared and plenty, but we missed something to go along with the meat. It was just.. meat. And the worst part was the rice - it was not nearly finished or it had been dried again - we could literally break a tooth on it. That's the moment when the concept of a pricey restaurant falls apart - they can't even cook rice!
On top of this, a larger group arrived and we were completely ignored for 45 minutes (after we had finished), untill we had to stand up and go to the kitchen and ask to pay. Travelling as a couple, we are never the most "profitable" customers, but we hate being treated unequally let alone be ignored.
In essence, the meat is ok, but nothing special, but it's just meat, nothing else, they can't cook the rice properly and the food does not NEARLY justify the relative expensive prices.
The service was also very bad in our experience.
We have to give this restaurant the lowest grade, simply because uncooked rice is not acceptable in ANY restaurant.

Nice restaurant in Playa del Ingles. We dined there three nights and were very pleased. The staff did everything to please us. A good menu with various starters, main courses and desserts. The meat was excellent prepared, they also had nice fish dishes, such as the Bacalao.

Really do recommend this place.

Simply put this was one of the best pieces of beef I've ever eaten. The presentation was amazing, service outstanding and the added extras throughout the meal topped it all off. We took advice from the head waiter and it didn't disappoint. The only negative was that we found this restaurant at the end of our stay and not at the beginning so we could have gone back.

It's not your €10 standard meal but you certainly pay for the quality of the food. Clearly a well trained chef and the front of house staff were spot on.

The high standard of food doesn't fit in with its gimmicky neon flashing sign but you're also not hounded from across the street to come in with 'discounts'.

This restaurant has the look and feel of beeing excellent. The service is very good and the menu tells you that they have alot of intresting choises. We ordered meat and it was well made and came with five different sauses that gave us all new flavours to like. A great dinner but it's a bit expensive and you dont say "WOW" afterwords. More like this was great where do we eat tomorrow ? Do you like meat go here and you will be content.

Are we getting two restaurants in the Iguazu complex mixed up? My review is for the most northerly of these restaurants, the one with elderly singer & guitar. I had a very enjoyable meal there in February. I chose fish (recommended by my sister from an earlier visit) and it was excellently prepared and presented. Good wine and friendly service too.
