Description: Welcome to "GREEK VILLAGE" We would like to express our appreciation to our patrons and thank them for the years of support and of course we equally thank those of you that are here for the first time. A few words about our establishments: Achieving reputable status and the quality that we are famous for was not easy.We were forced to import our own wide selection of Greek products, seek, the finest available on the island and combine them with our cuisine for a final result of authentic quality.Whether it be from wines, meats, vegetables to sald shrimps, herbs or spices. Our meals are prepared and cooked upon request in order to ensure premium quality and as the wise words said: "quality takes time". We hope you enjoy yourselves. Feel free to ask for any assistance.

Visited Greek Village Restaurant, Playa Del Ingles on 7th March 2013 as we love Greek food
did not know what to expect given that we would be comparing it to english Greek restaurants.
No need to have worried the food was fantastic with a good atmosphere and great service
Will be looking forward to going back on our next visit.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! The food was top notch, the service was excellent! The spiced feta cheese with pita was one of the best I have ever tasted. The gyro dinners are huge and oh so good. Be warned that the place does get very busy, but it is worth the wait! I will be back on my next visit to the Island!

We came across this little Greek Restaurant by chance at the end of our holiday in Gran Canaria - staying in Playa Del Ingles. We only wished we had discovered this sooner as we would of gone back for a second visit. It is so different for all the other restaurant choices in this area. We had a lovely litle table outside. Everything about this place is great - food, wine, service. The have a great selection of starters! Try the fried feta cheese with ozuo or the filo parcels with feta cheese, spinich and onion. The Athrodite chichen is a must - chicken in a green pepercorn, feta cheese sauce with veggies and rice.

We were headed to Las Tapas which was closed on Sunday, so I was in the mood for small plates. We made a dinner out of appetizers at the Greek Village which were all excellent. It is so rare to find a Greek restaurant that actually folds Spanakopita into triangles instead of making it a sheet pans and cutting it into triangle shapes. There is really no comparison between the two approaches. The Souzoukakia (meatballs in a tangy tomato sauce topped & baked with feta cheese) were also great. We had one of the better Pita Gyros I have tasted. The Zucchini could have been sliced a little thinner as they are very nice, a bit crispier, but they were still good. We also tried the Saganaki which was good but not great. Unfortunately they were out of Dolmadakia Avgolemono (grape leaves filled with beef & rice). We shared a bottle of Greek wine, Kretikos which was truly outstanding for a Greek wine, the nose was of Cherries which was quite unusual. I had Baklava for dessert which was homemade and not the overly honeyed version you typically find. All and all, a great dinner, served quickly as they brought out each of the appetizers as they were ready to serve.
