This hotel we stayed in was All Inclusive, though other options are available. The rooms were larger than normal in Playa, and came fully equipped with kitchen, microwave, kettle, etc. there was also an ironing board and iron, so no need to pack your own. Flat screen tv and plenty of space to sit and relax, either in your room or on the balcony. Pool towels are provided so again no need to take your own. Also slippers and dressing gowns. They have 4 pools, though one is a paddling pool. As it is adults only, this is ideal for sitting in to cool down. One even has it's own sandy beach. There are plenty of sun beds around all the pools, and all day sun. There is a shop on site, along with gym and health spa. Very Good. Evening entertainment is provided each evening which is quite professional. All inclusive gives you varied buffet meals, though there is an option to buy from the menu. It is run by professional, courteous staff who are always friendly. The views over the sand dunes and lighthouse are amazing, though this may differ dependent on room. Very high class establishment

This was our main family holiday of the year booked off of Travelzoo, it delivered. Five adult children and ourselves enjoyed a great week. We arrived late with food in the fridge and were pleasantly surprised by the large well appointed rooms and good views.
The staff were friendly and well informed and nothing seemed to much, the buffet food was different themes every night and unlike most buffets I have visited the food was actually hot, catering for all tastes as there were many nationalities on the site.
The spa was good value and the treatment pool 12 euros all week very good.

The pool area was spotless, there different pools offering something different.
What we missed was some form of animation or music outside, I know that some have suggested it was to noisy however we thought the opposite and attempted to instil a little bit of our own entertainment. It was not sold as a romantic peaceful tranquil haven, but an adults only and some adults prefer a little spark.

The drinks and snacks by the pool great and the all inclusive drinks package was again welcomed by all, with good choice of cocktails etc.

Our only criticism is that there is a lack of entertainment in the evenings and cancelled at short notice, it needs a person/persons to lead this and bring it to life, we went out on three nights of the seven just to find this.

15 mins from the shops/bars and 25 mins from the beach, although the cabs in resort are fantastically priced and get anywhere for three euros.

We would visit again and many people we spoke to had been multiple times.

Loved Gran Canaria relaxed and a bit classier than Tenerife.

Can highly recommend this hotel, all inclusive package is excellent, food, staff are brilliant.
All rooms have a pool and or sea view/maspalomas dunes view.
Loads of sunbeds, quiet and relaxing which is just what we wanted, no children!
Love the self service bar in the prime market which is available until 7pm everyday if you are on all inclusive.
Main bar on all inclusive from 5pm-11.30, bar staff v friendly and cheerful as are all of the staff.
Definitely thinking of returning next year!!

Great location, staff were always exceptionally helpful and pleasant (changed the room we didnt like without batting an eyelid), nice pool, good rooms and nice food. Most importantly NO KIDS! It was so quiet around the pool it is all Ive been talking about on my return.

Lots of couples. I'd say the average age was 'mature' but a fair few young couples too. All very civilised. In fact we couldnt wait to get back to complex on the odd occasion we ventured out.

My second experience of an all inclusive and thankfully totally changed my mind for the better. The food was good quality and varied. And thanks to great cocktails we didnt even touch our duty free.

The only slight negative was that the gym desperately needs some work. Also some of the evening entertainment drove me insane but most others enjoyed it so thats just a personal taste thing.

Room Tip: I'd go for the top floor. Avoid the 2nd floor near the service entrance and generator which is w...

We travelled as a couple and booked 2 weeks on Sunprime Atlantic view. The reason why we choosed this hotel, was that it was an adult only hotel, and we like the peace and quiet this usually is.

The hotel is a nice standard and located 10-15 minuttes away from everything in Playa del Inglés. There was a good Spar located just outside the hotel, and they had a good range of the usually goods you need for the half selfcatered holiday we decided to have.

The grounds and the hotel was like I mentioned of a good standard. The gardens and areas are kept in a superb state. The receptionists are very helpful, and spoke lots of languages. Also the bar seemed to work very good - but for all-inclusive guests and us.

We ate 2 times in the restaurant - 1 time for breakfast where you had a good selection of almost everything you want. And 1 time for lunch. We found the restaurant too expensive compared to the standard of food, so with a wide range selection just a walk from the hotel, we went out almost every night. (see my other reviews of the restaurants)

The good thing with the location of the hotel, is diffently the short walk you have to "San Fernando" just meters north from the hotel. This is where most of the locals live and shop. The prices and restaurants are cheaper and way better than most of the restaurants around Playa del ingles. This is also the place to for shopping in one of the many big supermarkets like Eurospar, Hiperdino and Mercadona. You can get everything in those shops for more reasonable prices.

We stayed on the 3th floor with a "Maspalomas" view, and that view is worth buying if you can. The rooms just below on the 2th floor have a wider balcony and sunbeds. We didnt need that because we stayed by the pool the days we were tanning. If you come after 12am it can be alittle difficult to find good spots, but lots of sunbeds in between.

What we didnt like about the hotel was the noise. When we went to the pool, there were several groups of young people mistaking the hotel to be a place like Sunny Beach. Annoying like hell, when you go for a romantic holiday. In the night there is alot of noise in the rooms from people talking loud and laughing when they came home after dinner and cocktails. There was just too much noise from the corridors, because there was no sealing under the main doors.

Also good choice of fitness and activities to go to - and thumbs up for the good massage i've had.

We've had a nice holiday, and hotel was okay, but not the best place we've stayed in.
