My boyfriend and I came home on Sunday 19th August after a week self catering at this hotel. I don't know how ANYONE can give this hotel a bad review because it is absolutely perfect! 4 swimming pools, one of which is set up like a beach with sand. All of the pools are 'walk in pools' and are shallow enough if you would like to read your book in the pool! All of this is set amongst beautiful grounds filled with flowers and trees.
When inside the hotel it has stunning and modern décor. The bar serves a range of cocktails, beers etc. One night we also tried the buffet, as we were self catering we thought we would try it at least once, and we were not disappointed! That night was a 'Mexican theme' night and the range of starters, mains and desserts was fantastic! Not the mention the fact that you could pour as much wine, beer and soft drinks as much as you like!
If you enjoy a bit of nightlife then I suggest you take a taxi to the 'Kasbah' centre which is full of restaurants, bars and nightclubs (if your into nightclubs). We visited here almost every night and visited Molly Malones Irish pub which was good fun! Taxis are always available outside the hotel and it only costs 3 euros a taxi to visit this centre! The hotel is a 5/10 minute taxi ride away from any centre which is brilliant.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and was absolute bliss with no screaming children around the place! I don't know how people can criticise this hotel as it is absolutely amazing. Will definitely be going back here!

Me and my boyfriend just got back yesturday after a 2 week stay.miss it already would go back tomorrow if i could.staff are very friendly and helpful.i stayed on the second floor in the studio.room very clean with a good big sized balcony .room cleaned everyday but there are do not disturb signs for the door if wanting to be used. There are 3 good sized pools aswel as a small kid sized pool surrounded in garden.no inflatables are allowed in the beach pool or the big pool but are allowed in the middle pool. There is a supermarket but i just went to spar which is a short minute walk around the corner as it is better value.at night there are various places to go.first tgere is the yumbo centre which is a 10 minute walk and main strip of playa del ingles is only a taxi drive away which only costs at the most 4 euros were you will see pacha ministry of sound and lots of club/bar places. If you are looking for a nice quiter night faro is a lovely place with lovely resturants along the sea front bay and again only a taxi drive away at only 4 euros. There is a taxo rank at the front of hotel so always taxis around.i will definitly be back to sunprime atlantic.loved every minute of my stay.i wish i could be back right now.

We stayed at this hotel on 25th July for 11 nights as some of the previous reviews read the hotel and grounds spotless, food excellent and staff very polite and helpfull,Thomas Cook rep was very good although we didn't need her much she was always very polite and always smiling, only fault was the air con in lounge got very very hot in there could do with an outside area and bar also the entertainment was not that good could do with a bit more variety. Would definitely go back, we booked the MHT it is a drag act and is a must to go and see we had the best night!!

clean and tidy. reasonable food. good pool and gardens. that`s the good stuff out of the way.
No entertainment in the day, apart from a silly girl trying to get fat old ladies to thrash about in the pool. No evening entertainment other than guys with guitars playing along with backing tracks. Function room seating capacity was a joke. Many of the little chairs had bent or loose legs. Food was decent but with limited variety. Bar service was easily swamped by 4 or more in the queue. 11.30 end of all inclusive.........come on. Local attractions = 1 run down centre called the Chapparall...don`t bother. The Yumbo centre where the gays made fools of themselves. A massive shopping centre with only 3 shops open, but the taxi driver will still take you there...The market was quite good, no limit to the number of stalls which can exist on selling sunglasses and watches. Don`t go to the beach on a Sunday, you`ll wake up to find yourself surrounded by locals to within 3 inches of your towel edge. As the title suggests, Turkey is the only place to go for us for decent all inc service, we know, we`ve been most everywhere else.

We stayed in the sunprime atlantic as our honey for 1 week from the 5th August. On arrival at the hotel the check in was speedy and the receptionists were friendly. We paid 15euros for a safety deposit box.
We stayed in room 107, which has a separate double bedroom (two single beds pushed together, which I was not impressed with but there was no alternative). The pillows and bed are very comfy. The room was very spacious and clean. The apartment had everything in if you were self catering but we went all inclusive as we always do.
We ended up bumping in to collegees of ours in the same hotel and they stayed in room 43. We had a look in this room and although it did not have a separate bedroom it was spacious and as you came out of there apartment it lead straight out to the beach swimming pool, which was the pool we preferred.
On the first day we spent our time around the main pool, which was clean and had plenty of sun loungers around it. But for the rest of the week we spent it around the beach pool (the pool with sand around one side around it). This pool you are not allowed lilos or ball games and was very relaxing. Due to the temperature being very hot (which I loved) this pool was perfect to lie in the shallow part to read my book.
The food
Breakfast- big variety. either salads, fruit, yoghurts, cereals, full english, toast and croissants. very yummy.
dinner- all fresh foods and tasty but seemed to repeat the same.
evening meal- we ate in the hotel every night apart from one night. The food every night was different. They always had frsh salads, fruits, meats and fish. The different pizzas every night were very tasty. We did not like the cakes but we stuck to the ice cream and sauce (always different flavours) one night we ate in Playa del Ingles sea front at the Gorro Blanco, we had paella. If you fancy a change this was amazing and staff very friendly.
Cocktails- the cocktails are available from 17:30hrs-23:30hrs on the all inclusive. We tried all of them but our favourite was the strawberry daquiries, made with fresh strawberries....amazing!! The bar area is spacious but if you were to sit outside it is quite a distance to the bar. The only thing that ruins the evenings is the entertainment. Most nights there is a singer, all singing the same songs, we would have preferred some music on low volume.
spa- you can go in to the spa for 6euros and I would really recommend this. As we booked our honeymoon through Thomas Cook we had a bottle of cava in the room and 25 minute massage. (These were not in our room on our arrival but we discussed this with our rep and she got this sorted straight away.)

Room Tip: ask for one near the beach pool (room 43) very relaxing!!

As all reviews with trip, this is a personal account of our findings and appreciate the next review could be totally different, based on their experiences??
We just felt the pressure of every day life drain away as soon as we arrived, even after a long transfer due to so many hotel drop offs. After an easy check in and all inclusive arm bands fixed we went to our room which was spacious and very clean, but was obviously a self catering room in a previous life hence the small kitchen area.
We went down to the pool area and found something unusual, peace! No screaming adults or children just a serene atmosphere. Three pools, lovely grounds and large sunbathing areas, we called into a few hotels in the area and the Sunprime, in our view surpassed all regarding these features.
Good points
Food was of a very good standard, with plenty of choice at all sittings. Staff were exceptionally friendly, even the night porter offered us a coffee before our 4:30am pick up this morning. The bar staff were lovely and always happy to serve your every need. I managed to work my way through a fair chunk of the cocktail menu, hic.....
Not so good, (but only small points)
Bathroom was a little tired looking, mould on some tiles.
As other people have added, the bar area is too warm, even though there seemed to be some cleaning or servicing of the air conditioning units during the day yesterday, it was still far too warm in the area last night.
We also agree that the entertainment could have been of a higher standard, (why not put a disco on for the two nights there was no entertainment)?
We find it strange that the management have not replied to any of this feedback previously?
Hence the four not five star review.
This no way detracts from the fact this is a lovely, relaxing hotel and we would not hesitate to return.
