We spent our honeymoon at this hotel in May 2012 for 11 nights. Can't fault it. The place was kept spotless, staff were so helpful and friendly and food was great. There were always taxis waiting outside to take you wherever you wanted to go and were so cheap. We would definitely recomend this hotel.

We have just returned from a week break which was fab!
Firstly if your looking for a week away time to relax with nice weather and relaxing atmosphere then this is the ideal place but if you are looking for a party week this is not the place. We went all inclusive which was fine there is a lot of choice everyday had fresh salad fresh fruit all very clean and the staff was friendly.
The rooms were very clean and cleaned everyday and the beds made daily and clean towels.
The hotel is about 20 min drive from airport and we got a private taxi. There is a bus to the beach daily which is free it takes about 5-10mins to the beach which is lovely with lots of places to eat and drink.
In the evening the entertainment can be bait boring x but there is a tv and pool table and of course loads of cocktails which are fab.
Overall would I go back defo x nice a relaxing clean and friendly staff and nice food.

First holiday and i think your always worried when youve not been anywhere but i knew we had made the right choice from the second i saw the place. Clean, imaculate and modern. The staff were friendly, spoke fluent english and german and answered any question you asked with a smile. The pool side areas are great and there are enough loungers for everyone, no need to rush in the morning to put your towels out. We went all inclusive and i was a bit scepticle about what the food would be like. Althought its not a buffet for fussy food eaters, the food quality was really good and well prepared. The only downside to choosing this hotel is that there is little in the way of entertainment (unless you enjoy someone who plays a keyboard or guitar everynight). However it is only a 10 minute walk to the main Yumbo centre. Do not let the lack of entertainment put you off! I would very much recommend this hotel to anyone old or young and will definetly be returning there again, all inclusive or self catering.

Room Tip: All rooms get the sun at some point during the day, the bottom floors are addapted for disabled gues...

We our just back from an amazing week at the subprime. The hotel is what made our holiday such a great experience.Playa del ingles area is not in anyway"buzzing"it's a very quiet area and from what we where told a lot of clubs and bars had lost their licence.we got a taxi to the next resort maspalomas here was busy enough bars, places to eat and popular high street shops.maspalomas has a board walk you can stroll down and from the hotel it's around 5 euros. Hotel pools where kept very clean, rooms where Massive ,very clean and comfy.i visited the hotels spa and having my own salon back home I'd say it's pricy but worth it.We went all inclusive for the week it was £580 each but we took full advantage of drinks and food and I have never had nicer food we couldn't fault it.we done two boat trips the supercat which was a fantastic day best day of my whole holiday 49 euros each and drink as much as u want and they served a beautiful lunch the other trip wasn't as good we done a trip to the Morgan markets on the friday it's there Friday markets the boat to get us there was the worst experience such choppy waters on a tiny boat, neArly everyone on this tiny boat was very ill and the markets where crap nothing there at all except junk.in all a brilliant stay at sunprime very relaxing and quiet.

From the minute we arrived we were pleased with our choice. The reception arrange was spacious and light and the staff very friendly. Our suite was all we could ask for with plenty of room and everything we needed. Then room was cleaned very well daily and the staff were always friendly. There were 3 pools and plenty sun beds and we had no problem getting beds when we went outside about 10am. We were all inclusive and found the choice of drinks and food was very good. We enjoyed the cocktails and if.not too hungry at lunch baguettes and sandwiches were available. Only down side was the evening entertainment or lack of it. Overall a 4.8 and we really enjoyed our stay.

I've just returned from this hotel this morning with my partner and were not disappointed!
Overall, the hotel is a lovely place; the pools and garden areas are well maintained, the decor is modern and in good condition and the views from our balcony (244) were fantastic. The spar is literally 2 minutes down the road and as me and my partner were self catering, it was great to have choice from the hotel market very close. This is a good hotel for couples who perhaps want chilled out days and the option of going out on a night.

The room was fine, modern and very clean. The only minor issues I had were with the toaster, t.v and bed, but none of these totally ruined the room. It could have done with a toaster as other reviewers have said (beans on bread is never as good as beans on toast, right?) and the t.v channels were awful for English people; your choices are BBC world news, CNN world news and watching foreign shows. There was one night we were still hungover and skint from the night before and decided to stay in and were bored to tears by the T.V. The beds in a double room are two twins as often found abroad and kept moving apart which got a bit on my nerves, but this wasn't a major issue.

The first night we got there we decided to run down to the spar before it closes (it closes at 9- late comers remember this, but there is a mini market further down next to the pizza hut open until 10pm!) and attempted to close the door but the automatic lock failed. Although this was an annoyance as we were tired and hungry, the technician came up and fixed it within the half hour. The next day the wind blew through the bathroom window and slammed the bathroom door shut, locking it. Again, the technician came incredibly quickly and fixed this for us. We couldn't fault the staff, as the maid was excellent and left the apartment spotless and she was very nice, waiting until 1 in the afternoon sometimes for us to leave before going in.

The pool outside our room was the beach pool and we decided to just linger round here. We found that if were looking to sunbathe at this pool, going down around 11-12pm latest for the good sun spots and loungers was best. We went down at 2pm one day and ended up with a couple of dodgy loungers. The other pools looked good too, and the life guard was always going up and down watching. Beware, the ground is VERY HOT so take flip flops you don't mind getting wet to and from the pool/shop. I often left my Ipod and room key under the towel on my lounger while I went in the pool or to the toilet and felt fine doing so, as the atmosphere is very chilled out.

I think the all inclusive seemed good but my partner being very fussy with food we decided against it. People seemed to enjoy it though. The entertainment downstairs was okay from what we saw, apart from one woman who wailed like a cat and had me and my partner wetting ourselves laughing.

For a great night hit the Yumbo center, which cost us 2.50 euros or there abouts in a taxi. Diamonds Bar is my fave, the staff are hilarious and the cocktails and shots are dirt cheap. Sparkles bar was also good for a laugh but the drinks cost more. There was plenty resteraunts and we got some really good bargains in the shops; don't be afraid to haggle! Try Fundgrube with the discount roulette wheel outside, as they sell genuine Pandora and offer you loads of money off in the game - I got a ring and two charms for about £50, as long as you spin the 20% discount on the roulette wheel! For those looking for proper nightclubbing, go to the Kasabah in a taxi.

Our flight home wasn't until 9pm and we decided not to keep the room on past 12pm as it would cost 40 euros according to the help sheet in our room. We decided to just stay in the hotel and play pool and stuff until our 6pm pick up, which was a bit boring and hot. Would have kept the room if it was a bit cheaper.

I would come back to this hotel next year; great location, good modern and clean rooms and great service. I've only rated the quality of sleep as average because I found it difficult to sleep but not sure why, as the air con was good and the beds were fine, so must have just been me:)

What I loved about this hotel was it's modern look and well looked after state. The hotel is set on beautiful grounds and has four lovely pools to take a dip in.

Our rooms were Apartments with kitchens (we didn't use!) and all rooms Have a pool view. No plain white boring rooms here, they were nicely decorated.

The FOOD - wow. I never got bored of what was on offer, all your fresh vegetables, cooked meats, pastas, very meditteranean and good for you - we all put on a little bit of happy fat on this holiday because we had to have everything!

There is a free bus service to the beach which we made use of. When you make daytrips, i would say don't bother with the packed lunch; they come in massive white boxes and you get chicken, salad, sandwiches, fruit and drinkss.. Which all sounds nice but it was all quite bland and not exciting like the food you get IN the hotel.. More like child's lunch.

Cabs are very cheap in Gran Canaria and you can get to most local places for less than 5euros. Nightlife in the Kasbah area wasn't the best holiday nightlife i've experienced, but still a decent night out. Chinawhites is a good spot.

One thing I wish I knew was about the tax free shopping on the Island. We took a walk to the Yumbo (10 mins) and found plenty of cosmetics shops, selling your high end beauty products for soooo cheap (got a £40 Clarins cream for £25 AND Genuine RayBans for £69).

All Inclusive drinks = fantastic. Drank a load of daiquiris and mojitos in 10 days, we really did get a good deal on this hotel.
