“What you see is what you get”

Photographs can often be deceiving but this villa turned out to be exactly what was advertised. The rooms were large and well decorated, it was clean, the pool was great and the extras such as ping pong table, roof terrace, gym and BBQ were welcome additions. The villa is located in a quiet residential area and is about 15 to 20 minutes walk from the shops. Although a little uphill it didn't phase the 80 year old in our party! I think it would be difficult to find a place that ticked all the boxes like this one.
All the restaurants we visited at the local shopping centre were very good - the only downside being they are all located in a shopping centre. If they were with beach views it would have been ideal but you can't have everything. The walk to Playa del Ingles is doable during the day but would recommend a 5-7 Euro cab back.
The admin from Villa Gran Canaria was very good - the only issue we had was that the pool heating didn't work for 5 days of the holiday but this was refunded to us. We couldn't blame a faulty part on the admin company and they did their best to resolve the intermittent problem. I would suggest pool heating is a must during winter months.
