About an hour and 20 minutes from the airport by coach. This resort is worth a visit. Mainly frequented by German and Spanish tourists although English is widely spoken. Lots of great restaurants and local bars. No nightclubs or very late night venues so a great place to relax and chill out.

I have been told by others that it gets incredibly windy, however we didn't experience that when we were there beginning of June 2018

Morro del Jable was a delight. It feels more traditionally Spanish than anywhere else I've been in the Canaries. We were there in December and the weather was perfect. The old town is charming. Don't go if you are after British pubs and fish and chips but it's pretty perfect if you want to get away from it all and enjoy some sun.
I'm going back.

Travelled down here from Corralejo. It’s a long drive but worth it. There is lots of parking along the very long promenade but it was very busy when we got there. Was just lucky to get a spot at the far end near the abandoned zoo. It’s a pleasant walk down the promenade with sculptures along the way and a nice lighthouse. The other side of the road is lined with shops and restaurants which is very busy. We visited on market day which was nice to walk around. Be prepared to haggle with the African stallholders.
