The Accommodation was at a very high standard. The food was delicious but cutlery sometimes was dirty. Pools were good. Staff were friendly. Good variety of activities but could be strict and sometimes unfair. They should have more organised activities for teens and kids. Beach was good fun. High waves to jump. Not too good if you just want to swim though. Plenty of activities to do outside of the hotel but we didn't go out the complex. Pool bar good for snacks. The weather is a bit hit and miss. One day its baking hot the next it has got gale force 8 winds (not really). No rain which is great. The bus transfer to the hotel from the airport is very long but is worth as the hotel is Magic!! Overall 8.5/10

Room Tip: If you want a room close to main pools and snack bar 11, 12, 15 are best as well as private lodges...

We chose this hotel as we were delighted with the magic life hotel in Sharm el shiek although this hotel wasn't as awesome we really enjoyed it. We stayed for 11 nights, food and drink was available 24hrs and the rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is ideal for those who just want to relax by the pool as it is very remote and there is not much to do outside the complex. After speaking with families with children they said they were delighted with the kids club and hardly saw their kids. It is quite a steep climb down to the beach which wouldn't suit disabled people but it was nice and clean. there was plenty of activities in the day and although we only went to one of the nights entertainment shows it was above expectations. So all in all had an excellent holiday.

Just returned from a week at The Magic Life and we loved it..!, my children are 4,11 & 13 all girls and they are already badgering me to book up for next year. The food is excellent even at the
pool bar where most days there was a barbeque or the chef was making a massive paella, self service drinks is a great idea and fridges with water in are ideal. The beach and sea are beautiful with plenty of waves to surf.....Hotel staff couldn,t do enough to help us..If your looking for a great family holiday that is truly all inclusive with plenty of sun sea & fun get booked up....

Room Tip: block 17 pool and sea view......

Very remote and 15 min walk to bus stop. It would feel like much longer in that heat so had to get taxi.
Very very windy all week So our cattarmeran trip had to be cancelled. The waves were very strong too.
Staff very friendly.
Pools good.
Food very good and to suit all tastes.
Island tour good.
Lots to do for families.

SHORT REVIEW -
Rooms - spacious
Food - good variety
Drinks - mostly self service with good choice
Beach - beautiful and clean
Ocean - clear and clean with huge waves at times
Pools - awesome !
Activities and facilities - loads going on all day to keep guests busy
Hotel staff - majority very pleasent
Weather - sunny all day but can get VERY windy
Overall - an excellent hotel with lots to do , great for families , spotlessly clean throughout , decent food with lots of choice and a very nice long beach , in a nutshell - a very good 4 star hotel that I would recommend :-)

DETAILED REVIEW-
Me and my family (9 or us) travelled here in July for two weeks . Having stayed at the 5 star riu palace in cancun last summer I thought this hotel would have a lot to live up to , as this is a four star hotel I can't compare the two hotels , but I will say this hotel is without doubt a four star hotel that with a few tweaks could be a five star establishment . Very impressed with it .
ROOMS - we had three rooms , two twin rooms and one family room . The twin rooms were big and clean . The family room is two twin rooms with a connecting door in between , perfect for a bit of privacy . The rooms were spacious and had everything you need , like a safe , fridge , wardrobe space , tv , big bathroom , nice balcony . It's free to call other rooms from your room telephone which is good because some hotels charge for this . Maids cleaned the rooms every morning and replaced towels as and when you needed them .
FOOD - breakfast in the main buffet restaurant was very good , a large selection of hot and cold food with ample choice and something for everyone , lunch can b taken in the buffet restaurant , at the pool bar or in the Italian restaurant , we ate mainly in the buffet restaurant for lunch and a few times we just grabbed a quick bite from the pool bar , they serve hot dogs , fries , burgers etc , also at the pool bar they have a big freezer with small tubs of walls Ice cream , very nice . Dinner at the main restaurant with themes nights of which the Asian night was my favourite . There are three other restaurants you can have dinner at with a reservation , we only tried one and it was good but more for adults . Although we were a large group we managed to find a big round table that accommodated all of us very night which was impressive as most hotels don't have a lot of large tables like this , very good if you are traveling with a lot of people . Cutlery always clean and plates taken away quickly when you've finished . You could easily put on a few pounds if you indulged every night here !
DRINKS -
Apart from when your at the plasa bar, pool bar and reception bar , drinks are self service . This is good because you don't have to
wait for anyone to bring you a drink but sometimes it is nice to b waited on . Coke diet coke fanta water and juices were good quality and cold , Ice and lemon available at every drinks station . Help your self to wines and beer . Beer was called tropical which is a Canarian larger , and surprisingly it was really nice ! Cocktails were not that good and the shots were way to sweet for my liking . Tip ... If you do have a particular favourite tipple , get a bottle from the airport on your way and pop it in the fridge in your room , we had a bottle of limoncello and the fridge kept it nice and cold ;-)
BEACH - wow ! Beautiful sand , plenty of space and very clean . You can walk either left or right from the steps of the hotel along the beach for miles ! One of the highlights of our holiday here was feeding the chipmunks on the beach ! Brilliant and the kids will love it ! A lovely experience ! When you get down to the beach from the steps walk along the beach to the right , once you see one you will see lots of them ! :-)
OCEAN - beautiful and clear lovely and refreshing , you can swim far out without it getting really deep and we didn't see anything nasty ie jelly fish etc . The waves can get really really big so be careful if you are not a strong swimmer or you have young children . If you like big waves then you will be very happy here as there are some epic waves !!!
POOLS - the main pool and the sports pool are very big and we loved them . There is a kids pool aswell and they all have a lifeguard on them from 9-5 . Can get cold In the pools but other than that 10/10 for the pools .
ENTERTAINMENT -
There is so much to do at this Hotel lots going on all the time , the entertainment team were all very friendly except fir one guy called Adrian , he was very rude and ignorant and he made my family feel unwelcome . Adrian was an #%^*+%#!
WEATHER - very sunny all day every day but for a few clouds now and again , the wind can b very annoying though . The evening can be chilly because of the wind .
Overall I think the hotel is really good value and would recommend it to families and younger couples . Very clean and well maintained gardens , lots to do , plenty to eat and the pool and beach scene makes this hotel money well spent . I almost forgot they have several cats at the hotel that you can feed and fuss this was really nice .

Finally .... If your looking for a good four star hotel on a lovely beach then don't hesitate - Book it !!

Not new hotel, but very well maintained, rooms great and very spacious. food is superb in main dining area with fantastic choice every meal, not as good in the 3 Al'a carte but still ok. Main pool is unbelievably massive with a pool bar at both ends and sunbeds galore, more than enough for everyone, beach is just down a few steps to a sun and sand haven.
Sports facilities are superb for the fitness fanatic and only have to book 24hrs in advance to use these. the complex is gorgeous to walk around and very picturesque. Allsorts of nationalities here but everyone very well mannered, Staff are superb and the entertainment team great, go to the theater shows at night, well worth watching. Will definitely go back to this place again. x

just returned from Magic life fuertaventura -
why more english people dont know about, or use this chain is beyond me - food is incredible for all inclusive, the choice and quality is unequalled in my experience.

Unusually, the central restaurant dining experience (Magico) is at least as good as the a la carte.

Sports facilities are usual Magic life top, top notch... which is why we book with this company
Mountain bikes are Scott Scale bikes ( ridiculous spec for a hire bike.. better than mine at home)
Road bikes the same great spec. Tennis facilities, volleyball, Archery, 5-a side all club/sports standard level not your usual crappy equipment -Pilates, Zumba, Spinning the list goes on and on

Animation team great fun ( get involved) around pool, would totally recommend.

24 hour all inclusive with many serve yourself areas for beer, wine, sangria ( wierdly you dont see kids trying to abuse this)

If you want to stay poolside then lunchtime food all the usual hotdogs fries toasties etc every day, but also they do daily specials like Paella cooked by the pool bar or barbecued whole chickens etc -

if you don't fancy this then the Bahia restaurant is open anyway with loads of options and the Magico reastaurant with more food then you can shake a stick at.. if you arent happy with the food here, then you have serious issues.

w/c 20th july english tourists made up approx 10% i would guess, with massive amounts of German, Spanish and a few Polish - i only bring this up as the teen club is not awesome for your average english kid at this point - this improved in our second week , but be aware that its mostly German dominated - i'd estimate max 30% english as we left. This is not always a bad thing IMHO

You can walk to morro del jable down the beach ( about 1 hour) - watch out for the nudists.. why are they always over 50 - get your clothes on :-)

Saggy bums aside it's a nice walk, keep an eye on the tides... helpfully all the tide times are published in reception so you won't get stuck. Town not really special but if you absolutely must have some fake ray bans or a snide rolex, then the market is where you'll go and its a change of scenery too.

Beach and sea absolutely lovely, steps down, but no problem for 99% of people i'd guess

Evenings entertainment is not always the best in the theatre - but you can just enjoy the plaza bar.

I'd suggest you take a few jumpers/cardies for the evenings , it is windy EVERY night without fail
and can get chilly

Our family (48, 44, 17boy & 15girl) loved it we had a ball last time in egypt at the magic life there and on balance this was even better.

Sports and fun minded kids/teens will ove it ( therefore you will too)
