“Very good hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

Club Magic Life is excellent for all ages. We are in our 40's & took a 60 year old as well as 18, 20 & 22 year olds. Plenty for all ages to do. Entertainment really good. A show inside the theatre every night followed by music outside also background music inside the bar. Pool tables & bar in reception. Night club strict on you being 18 to drink alcohol, which is good and is open every night but NOT open on sat/sun. Weather wasn't brilliant in February, cloudy on a couple of days but really hot most other days, take a few cardigans & light coat/waterproof for the evening as it gets very windy. There are a couple of expensive shops on site. The hotel staff were friendly, the waiters very helpful and brilliant bar staff, very fast & eficient. Entertainment team very active but leave you alone if you just want to lay by pool. Lots of pools. Lots of sunbeds. No need to save beds. Only one pool heated (by the pool bar) but even by that pool always got 6 sunbeds together. Food very good, variety & plentyful. Breakfast, lunch & dinner can be had in the Magico (Main restaurant) or you can have lunch, afternoon snacks & cakes at pool bar and afternoon meals & midnight snacks in snack bar near plaza bar (next to Magico) or cakes at reception in afternoon. You could eat all day long if you wanted. All inclusive alcohol, shots, cocktails or lager - all good & plentiful! Cleaners brilliant. My children used the gym daily & said it was very good. Hotel isolated. Room & bathroom large & clean. Safe & Fridge in room, hairdryer in bathroom.. You cannot fault a Club Magic LIfe hotel for quality. One hour 15 mins from airport but well worth the coach ride.

Room Tip: I had room 20120 with a very large double bed where you could look at the sea the the left & the...

Have just spent a week here, we arrived very late in the evening but were presented with drinks on arrival and they opened a restaurant for us. The selection of food is fantastic, something to suit everyone, and gala night is brilliant. You always have access to drinks and water 24 hours, can reccommend the Mojito's! Although still early n the season the weather was fantastic, downside is that only one of the pools is heated and is quite small, so often filled with kids. There is access to the beach outside the snack bar, but the steps are very steep. There is another set of steps down that is much easier behind the private lodge area if you fancy a break from AI, the beach bar you can see on the way down does fantastic food, especially fish dishes. There is no longer any public transport into the town but a taxi cost about 8 euros, it is walkable, but only in daylight. We followed the old road down, but had to walk behind the crash barrier of the new road for a small portion of it, and then walked along the beach to comeback, but this is onlyposible when the tide is out. Overall we had a fantastic week in the sun!

Club Magic Life provides an excellent value holiday for all ages. The ‘all inclusive’ package is just that – everything is available including bottled water at any time of day or night. The grounds are extensive and well maintained and there is a stepped walkway down to the beach. All the staff members seemed to work very hard to ensure the guests are looked after.
The main restaurant is a large buffet type with an amazing range of foods of all types, well presented and constantly refreshed. As a buffet restaurant it can get busy at times but the quality of the food more than makes up for this. The three a la carte restaurants can be booked 24 hrs in advance, however, the ‘Italian’ restaurant is also available during the afternoons. The other two, in our opinion and from our experience can not match the quality of the main buffet restaurant. The ‘Canarian’ restaurant was OK but the quality of service in the ‘Argentinian’ restaurant was very poor.
There are numerous sun beds available and we only saw one pair ‘reserved with towels’ during our stay, probably because there are so many. A few of these were broken and maybe should be withdrawn for repairs rather than left out for guests to discover. Pool / beach towels are available to be changed every day if needed but they are a little small.
The range of activities should satisfy most people. There is a well equipped gym, cycling, tennis, aerobic classes, spinning classes, coaching and a host of other options. We had no children with us but the facilities available seemed to keep those we saw very happy and the staff again excelled themselves in the way they looked after them. Evening entertainment was mainly the ‘in house’ dance troupe with some external entertainers on some of the evenings. The dance troupe, whilst obviously not of West End standard, was very good and the lead dancer who apparently organised the shows did a superb job in providing entertainment for an audience of many languages.
There are a few minor negatives at Club Magic Life if you want to be picky, but in our view the positive points far outweigh these and we would recommend this holiday to anyone.

Room Tip: Contact the hotel by email rather than pay supplements to the travel firms. We asked for block 14 hi...

Booked this last minute through Thomsons. First time we have gone for AI. Hotel position very good, great layout and grounds, lots of space and lots of sun beds. The All Inclusive element was amazing!! never seen so much food and choice, no wristbands!! and free access to beer, wine etc. breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, food and drink all day availability!. Also the entertainers on site and kids programme was full on. Thearte show each night and Club 'till lat then disco if needed? Lots and lots of daily activities if you want them plus access to sauna etc although the Spa which had a good choice of treatments was extra, understandable! Great walks along the beach to Jandia Although the weather was not 100% we had a great time and would recommend you look at this hotel if you are thinking of visiting Fuerteventura

Room Tip: Block 14 overlooks the ocean middle 02 to 20 more central. We had 14228 which was near the footpath...

we stayed from 23/2/ for two weeks our first week was so peaceful, second week was full of german and dutch kids on there school hols the noise level was unbelievable. all the rooms are floor tiled, kids are running around the rooms and outside the corridors, it sounds like a herd of elephants as it echo`s around the buildings, i asked reception who plans where couples stay and families, the reply was that there are family rooms in all the blocks, i just hope you get a peaceful holiday i wouldnt like to be there in peak season, food was good, drinks palatable, they dont know how to make a decent cocktail they are all made up in jugs in the fridge,
the bar in reception is probably the best place to have a decent drink,
take a kettle with you as there isnt one in the room, if you rely on a hairdrier the one in the bathroom is ok but the mirror steams up and takes for ever to clear, there is only one plug socket in the lounge which the light is plugged into and one in the bathroom, so charging your electrics isnt easy, if you want to watch any english foot ball there is one bar called the boot and ball you need to get a taxi to take you there all the info is on the thomson information board
in reception. if you want to go shopping get a taxi to the boot and ball stand looking at the bar
the shops to your right you barter shops to your left are priced if you walk to your left for about 10 minutes you will come to a supermarket this is the cheapest place to get anything you have forgotten
if i can be of any help to anybody drop me a line

Room Tip: definately choose a higher floor

We were met off the bus by friendly staff giving cool drinks out.
Very smooth check in with informative staff.
We got to our room in block 14, very nice sea view which we had paid for when we booked.
This block is a fair walk from the reception area and wunder bar, but not a problem for us.
The rooms were large and bright but tired looking and needed some TLC.
The bed was queen size but hard and not at comfortable.
The pool areas were realy nice well kept, clean and loads of sunbeds plenty no matter what time of the day you wanted one, no need to put towels out however some people did.
The dinning room was realy big and crammed full of tables, often left with dirty plates etc on as the overworked staff could not keep up with demand due to the volume of people.
The food on offer was plentifull with lots of choice but the quality of the meat was poor, i could have used the beef one day to sole my shoes.
The Italian restaraunt was nice on a afternoon with fresh made pizza on offer.
The Plaza bar was very tired looking and in need of a refurb, again understaffed and very busy, however we never had to wait long to get our drinks.
We met some fantastic people from Scotland who really made our stay here.(Thankyou)
The evening entertainment was very poor and thats been kind.
The town is at least a fifty minute walk along the beach, plenty of nudists as well as the chipmunks running around.
Once we got to the town we were disapointed as there was very little at all.
All in all The hotel is very remote, the food is not of the best quality, entertainment is non existant, with the exeption of the various sporting activities that are on offer
It is clean and the gardens are nice, however it is not a 4 star platinum, we have stayed in loades of platinum hotels and this comes no where near any of them.
It is a bog standard 3 star resort.

Room Tip: Block 14 great sea views

Club Magic life, it was. No complaining at all. Excellent all inclusive with no cut off time. Even the fussiest of eaters could find something to eat. No wristband wearing. Rooms mint, didn't watch tv. Staff not pushy, activities fantastic inactive people can lounge, active people take your padded cycling shorts, sps shoes if you have them,MTB and Road rides are 30k but fantastic.activities list will keep you going all the way through to a well earned dinner and a beer. Coffee in main dining area awful, but lovely coffee available from Wunderbar at main reception. Plenty of activities and an amazing animation team who work very very hard to ensure you have a good time, they are really enthusiastic,my wife and i meet some great people at morning spinning and dance classes overlooking the sea after breakfast. The main eating venue is out of this world the kids and adults will have no problems eating. If the Germans are here in numbers, it must be good! Plenty of sun loungers, as people are not allowed to reserve them beforehand.

Just get it booked!!!

Room Tip: Sea facing no sun in the evening. Lift in one of the blocks.
