We stayed here from 27th of June till 4th of July it was amazing the kids club staff were out of this world I have never let my son stay at a kids club before as he has additional support needs and deaf but his sister was with him and I needn't have worried as daisy and Rebecca made me feel at easy and kids had a ball then at night they put on the most amazing shows that are very interactive and kids altogether a mini disco every night. A big shout out to lucas Alex and marta who r the main entertainment staff and also captain cross and the bad pirates who put their heart and soul into every performance plus lucas and Alex who organise games and activities at the pools for kids and adults the food was super and hotel spotless can't fault anything we will defo be back xxxxx

We are just back from our first stay in the pirates village and we will definitely be returning!
Entertainment for the kids both day and night was amazing, they really went above and beyond! Our kids are 6 and 3, it was there first time going to a kids club and they didn't want to leave it! The kids disco was so energetic and fun afterwards followed by a show where the entertainers would set the kids chairs around the stage so they could always have a clear view!
We went all inclusive which I think with kids is a must, plenty of drinks and ice creams! The food was good, food variety and tasty.
Apartments were lovely, very clean and fresh towels every 2 days.
All staff were so friendly, the receptionist bar staff and waiters all very welcoming.
Great holiday we will be back!

Staff nice and pool good but they need to have the Pirates around more. We booked only because of the pirate theme and then we only saw them at showtimes and never during the day and also the themed rooms are very basic and ours needed some attention as it was getting shabby looking. Food the usual all inclusive food. Plenty of it but nothing of great quality although it did the job. Very annoying as they do not stop people reserving places round the pool with their towels and it turns into a joke by 7:30/8am with barely no good spots left! Santa ponsa beach great and transfer to/from airport worked well.

Stayed for 7 nights. With 2 Boys 3&5. Cheaper places to stay alright but the facilities for the kids were fabulous.
Paid extra for ground floor apartment. Nice terrace out front with a couple of sun beds and table & chairs. Only a few steps from pool area. Gave our 2 boys the freedom to come & go but always close enough to keep an eye on. Well worth paying some more.

Pool area great and very kid friendly. Kids club excellent and great effort put in by all the entertainment team. Special mention to Alex. Great rapport with all the kids.

Didn’t go all inclusive, so can’t really comment on the food. Any drinks I got in the evening were grand & fairly priced.

Apartment itself while not massive was good for us. Cooking facilities for some light breakfast or lunch but you will eat out mostly. It was clean and we got service every day.

Would def recommend if you have kids up to 7/8. Older ones might be bored.
Only 5 mins walk to beach & shops etc.

Santa Ponca was lovely too.

We stayed here as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). Firstly it can be quite difficult to find an all inclusive hotel that will take 5 in a room but pirate village came up trumps. We had a double room and then in the sitting room a single bed and a pull out bed then an extra bed. Perfect for us as we were only ever in the room to sleep. The apartments I thought were modern and no complaints about cleanliness. The entertainment staff are great especially Alex, I just wish there was someone like him in the kids club as I felt a lot of the time there wasn’t much organised. For example, every morning it is meant to be garden games. In fact it is just entertain yourself with no games (agreed by a member of kids club!). Afternoon is computer games, but 4 computers working with more than 10 kids?
Early morning you look out your balcony to a patchwork of towels laid out by the pool, even though sun beds are not out till 9 and not a German in sight....all Brits! We never had any bother getting a seat at 9 and later in the week, even 10am so I don’t know why people bother.
Food is ok, definitely not the best I have had in all inclusive, would have preferred more choice. Big thanks to Jessica for always smiling and being great with the kids and to Katy the bar manager who was also very good. The chef at lunch and evening could try to smile once. Cocktails on all inclusive are horrible and the fruit juice from the machine in restaurant is undrinkable. It can’t cost that much to have jugs of fresh juice out.
Pools are great and we didn’t find them cold. You have to take your own pool/beach towels. Beach is a 10 min walk but it’s nice and great for kids.
It’s a bit of a shame that there were some people in this hotel who forgot their manners when ordering a drink, leave their plastic cups and straws lying around even when there are bins everywhere, and can’t control their language.
Would I return? Not sure, had such a fantastic time at Iberostar Malaga last year that i would rather go there and pay the extra (they know how to run a kids club!)
