Have just returned from another stay at this lovely hotel.
The views from everywhere here are breathtaking.
The location is a bit out the way but within walking distance to the shops and beach. There is a taxi rank 10 mins walk if you turn right when leaving the hotel.
On arrival to the hotel we were offered cava, orange juice or water and checkin was very quick as our room was ready.
We had room 525 which had tea/coffee and kettle ( the tea was daejing, not nice, so i brought breakfast teabags up when we went for breakfast). There is a fridge in the room ours contained a bottle of water. On our balcony had the 2 two sunloungers on. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel.
There is shower gel, shower caps, shampoo and conditioner in the rooms also.
From our room you could sit and watch the sun go down which was beautiful but you can also watch it from the blue bar situated on the 5th floor with a lovely cocktail in your hand.
There is a spa which is ideal if its overcast, here you can also get treatments but these need to be booked a.s.a.p as she gets booked up.
The rooms are cleaned every day but i must say the maids who done our room werent very good as a few times we noticed they had swept very well at all.
Our tv wasnt working so reported it at the desk when we went for dinner and on our return the maintiance bloke was already there and sorted it promptly.
People have mentioned the pool being cold but its refreshing and once your in its ok.
The beds (not sunloungers) are €15.50 for the day.
The meals are very good and even for the fussier of eaters ( thats me) there is something for everyone.
Be aware you will be charged for your drinks in the evening if you arent all inclusive, even water.
My daughter gave me a very good tip when staying in hotels always take a small extension lead as there are never enough plug sockets so thats wat i do now.
All the staff were polite and friendly always with a smile on their face.
My only disappointment about the hotel and its silly but made an impact on me on my last visit and that is in reception i noticed the blue cushions that were on the chairs have been replaced but dull beige ones which does not stand out , with the blue ones it made the white furniture stand out and looked lovely and fresh. We came back to our room one day to find a bottle of cava and chamagne glasses and a letter saying this was for us returning a nice jester.
Now for trips we done.
We wanted to do Palma Aquarium so asked the rep how much it was with her and also asked how much it was by cab as we didnt want all the hanging around once had finished waiting for the coach. She told us a cab was about €18/€20 so we decided to go via cab inly to find out it was €45 then another €45 back so be carefully listening to your reps.
The aquarium was €26 roughly and we paid to do the new humpback whale expection which was well worth the extra money.
We done the bay boat trip which was amazing as we had dolphins swimming along side us
This is a 2hr trip and they stop for you to swim THERE ARE JELLY FISH IN THE WATER, 2 men were stung so be very careful.
We got a cab to palmanova which cost about €11 and from there you can walk to magaluff, then cab back to hotel.

We are on our last night of our 7 night stay and every time we go away we read reviews so this time we thought we would leave one,

ROOM. We was very happy with the room nice and clean, beds are comfy and the views from balcony are amazing.

FOOD. Not been to impressed with the food but that’s just my personal preference everything was clean and service was on point

STAFF. Not a bad word to say about the staff in hotel all very friendly.

POOL downfall for me was the pool outside it’s was like a ice bath coldest pool I’ve ever been in on holiday, not many people in it through out our holiday, big let down but not big enough to give the hotel a bad rating it made up for it with a nice indoor heated spa pool.

OVER ALL SANTA PONSA
overall we have had a nice relaxing break here it’s a nice peaceful place hotel and is in walking distance from the beach which is lovely, shops, bars and everything you need, we found the hotel a little over priced but all in all it’s been a nice relaxing week.

Had a wonderful 7 nights stay at this hotel. Perfectly situated away from the town but easily accessible if neccessary about 6 Euros one way by taxi but there are some shops and bars in the square just about 5 minutes walk away. The staff were all so friendly and the reception staff were so helpful with my minor problems, quickly solved and with a smile.
Good selection of food in the dining room and the option to have a snack around the pool area. Pablo in charge of entertainment is a very talented musician and organized some very good acts in the evening as well as wine tasting etc during the day and very mellow music played on the deck which was very relaxing and not too loud.
Mixed nationalities of guests to make the atmosphere more interesting. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with the most amazing views from all rooms, pool area restaurant and Blue Bar this is the hotel for you. Cannot wait to return hopefully later this year

Room tip: All rooms have great views

Yes the view from our balcony was just perfect but while food is very good on most nights the staff at the dining room are very moody and one day when I was coming back from the toilet I saw one of the waitresses pulling a face just because my wife had asked her for a clean fork.

It's just as tremendous as I remembered. We had a nightmare getting here courtesy of random Ryanair cancellations so we were a bit frazzled on arrival. Maria sorted us out wonderfully though and we are back in this beautiful hotel with its beautiful views and lovely food. Swam all day in the pools, bubbled in the outdoor jacuzzi, listened to live music at sumptuous dinner and watched the sun set from the Blue Bar. And that was just day one. This might be my favourite place ever.
