We stayed at the Hotel El Paso for 7 nights from the 30th July. The check took only 15 mins on arrival and was very informative the receptionist was very helpfull and friendly. We could not go to our room as we arrived around 10:30am but we were given our wristbands straight away so we could enjoy the Hotel facilities. We took advantage and bought our Theme park wrist bands at the same time.I would recomend the all week unlimited express wristband as this cuts queing to a minimum. We qued no more than 5 mins, most rides we walked straight on to, even though the normal que times were up to 2hrs.Even on a night some ques were quite long. We asked for a pool view room on arrival ( which were cleaned daily). When we could go to our room we were pleasantly surprised after some reviews. It was quiet on a evening had great pool views air con was a godsend and the bed was huge and comfortable with a single put me up for our 12 year old son which was big enough and comfortable. It had a ok balcony which you could sit on if you wanted but the gounds and facilties were excellent so we spent little time in our room anyway.Food also was excellent with plenty of variety. We tried the El Coyote once which was good but we preferred the buffet. We also took advantage of the 3 Restaurants in the theme park which you can use twice a day. We found that Bora Bora and El Cantina the best but wasn't too impressed with Jeramiahs. Also you can get free soft drinks at these restuarants so don't buy the refillable plastic cups recomended by the hotel. just make sure you show your hotel card and wristband at these restaurants.Pool was excellent and well managed by the lifegaurds. You could also get unlimited soft drinks ,beer and snacks from the pool bars. Night time entertainment was mainly for children but there were plenty of places to sit and have a drink, the hotel had a small village feel to it so we never got tempted to visit Salou. In the theme park there are many excellent shows in the evening so it is better going to them. The best one was Music Generation. We could not fault this Hotel at all and had a excellent time, it is the first time we have tried AI we wish we could have stopped longer and would definatly go back.

Room Tip: Ask for a first floor pool view. Ours was room 5119 can't remember block name but it started wit...

We've just come back from our fourth visit to this hotel and it is still fantastic. Okay, so the downside is it's not that cheap as parts of Salou are much cheaper to stay in but if u use all the facilities then it works out ok. Hotel rooms are clean and tidy, our air conditioning didn't work the first night but we told reception the following morning and it was sorted within the hour. We stayed in the main hotel, there is entertainment every evening until 11 and the bar directly outside serves til 11.30 so if you have young children and don't like late nights then ask to be in the outer buildings as it is noisy! The buffet restaurant is lovely, lots of choice of food, you can have chips and burger every meal but there are plenty of fish, meat and salad choices as well, the puddings are fab, and there are always plenty of ice creams and lollies for the kids after lunch and dinner, they also have long opening times. You can also eat down by the pool and this has the usual chips and burger but there are also nice sandwiches, fruit, salad and past t choose from. You could help yourself to water and fizzy drinks, and then you get served the alcohol and ice creams. The pool is lovely and nice and warm when the weather is hot. You need to be up early for a sun bed!! There are lots of empty sun beds with towels left on them for hours. The staff do say that if they are empty for more than 2 hours then they will remove them, we heard that one morning at 8.30 they went round and took everyone's towels off and put them in lost property - lots are left on late at night so they are ready for the morning!! Staff are friendly and helpful. Only a 5/10 minute walk to the theme park and water park but there is a tram available as well. Overall 10 out of 10, it's a fab holiday, we will defo go again

Room Tip: Rooms by swimming pool are quieter if you have children who go to bed early

Just back from a one week stay here.

The first room we were given was ideally located in the main hotel building but the air conditioning was not working in our room. We told reception on our first day who got a man with a ladder to come and have a look that day but it was still the same that night and so we mentioned it to the rep at the welcome meeting and then she spoke to reception who got a specialist to have a look and as it could not be repaired we were moved to a room in another buidling where the air conditioning worked well.

The food was good with lots of choice and included a fab meal at the El Coyote restaurant one night and BBQ another night.

We enjoyed a couple of days by the pool that was well looked over by the lifeguards who were brilliant when one of my children got hurt and intervened and acted on my behalf to a Spanish family whose child had hurt him

All in all if you have children who like theme parks with a decent hotel to stay in this would be a good choice for you

Room Tip: If there's a problem mention it to reception and the rep and it will be sorted quickly for you...

Just returned from a week at this hotel and it lived up to our expectations in most ways. The staff work really hard at keeping the place spotlessly clean and were all friendly and helpful. The room was a bit of a disappointment as we requested a room with a double bed and bunk beds but got two double beds which wasn't ideal but other than that no complaints. The food in the restaurant was probably among the best we have ever had at an all inclusive...the kids were catered for very well. Having unlimited access to the theme park was brilliant as we could take our time and do as much or as little as we wanted. The option to eat in the theme park wasn't great...we chose to eat in La Cantina but the food wasn't very nice or very hot. All in all though we would recommend this hotel to anyone with young children...they'll love meeting the characters who make regular appearances around the hotel during the day and evening.

The resort was well run, staff friendly and efficient. We travelled with my 17 yr old son and his friend who found the park great fun and so easy to access from the hotel...it was well worth paying 49 euros for the 7 day fast pass band for the main park attractions. The park was open from 10am until midnight daily. Although the pool area was busy as expected, it was usually possible to find a sun lounger even in the afternoon, there were also nice and peaceful terraces to enjoy a relaxing drink. The rooms were basic but clean and functional. The restaurants served a good selection of food to suit most tastes.
