“Good for a good holiday”
Reviewed November 3, 2011

Well after reading all the reviews we were expecting the worst but when we arrived we were very pleased. The rooms are cleaned everyday there not squeeky clean but you shouldnt be fussy. As a family we had to change the room around a bit but was managable. Okay the rooms are a little small but your only there to sleep why would you worry about a tiny room if your gonna be at the pool n beach n out and about for the day. We went all inclusive and could not complain about the food and drink. As with all inclusive hotels the food is a bit repetitive but its all high standard and theres enough variation for your holiday. The pool is a good size there isnt always space round the pool for a sunbed but theres a beach and the beds become free throughout the day. The staff are very friendly and up for a laugh. The evening entertainment was very good bingo is everynight but you can go out then come back for the night with rihanna acts and parrot shows something different everynight. The whole location is beautiful with beaches that are soo relaxing. The local buses are a must do as they take you into central salou and kids find them exciting there easy to use and nice and cheap. We werent expecting a palace as we went as a family. We went for two weeks and were sad to leave. All round was an enjoyable holiday.

Room Tip: La Pineda is quite hilly so be prepared for alot of walking but it keeps the holiday weight down

close to the airport and a cheap all inclusive hotel, wouldnt take my family but ok with friends.
down side is the taxi trip into salou every nite but the local bars are ok.
food was ok, and the beach is nice
the area is very hilly.
wouldnt go again but that is only because id rather be in the centre of salou.

Room Tip: get drunk and sleep anywhere

got back from molinos park on 27th oct went with wife and 8 yr old son

we were greeted by hotel manager and assistant on arrival had to wait to have photos taken for all inclusive not too long an then had to wait 45 mins for room so went to the bar area cleanish
my wife asked for a black russian barman was straight away on defensive no no no we dont do cocktails even though there was a cocktail menu on bar even the bar manager came over and said we dont do cocktails till night time bu there was no need for big production the attitutde and the no no no no

we went to our room after an hour not to bad not as unclean as some reports state
and we had a sea view woohoo

the entertainment of day time was ok usual bingo quiz music

we did have one positive one night we had hypnotic show all i can say absolutely amazing we were in stitches laughing

a negative yes the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything and i mean everything we had a young couple next door to us and they were noisy up till 5 -6 in the morning ill let you fill in gaps of what they were up to but we thought family hotel lots of familys hmm lol

we asked for a move and i agree with one of earlier posts hotel manager not very flexible we have no rooms hmmm let me see near end of season and we knew that ryanair were flying there last flight out on friday from reus

but i will say there was a shining light at the hotel sandra her local knowledge is amazing deffo get the local bus card saves you a fortune it cost us 22 euros and had 20 trips on it that is 20 individual trips so each time we used it went down three trips as there was three of us so worked out roughly one euro each and on last time we used it only had two trips left so had to pay for one on the bus and cost 2.45 euros so we saved quite a lot with that so would deffo recomend that and a trip to taragona fantastic great history all the info we got about this was from sandra

food was good and plentiful id reccomend getting in early as the dinig room fills up quite quickly

Room Tip: email the hotel before hand to request a higher up room

The rooms are dirty, our bed sheets did not fit the bed correctly. One of the bed sheets had blood on them.
The bathroom was very dirty, toilet kept breaking and blocking up. There was no knob on the bath to switch between bath and shower. Shower curtain was covered in mould patches. Tiles on the wall had never been cleaned and were covered in thick dust.
The electrics are in a poor state, with cables hanging out of socket covers and the tv power supply dangling from the ceiling.
Our Tv was securely fixed to the wall bracket via a piece of black material.
Our balcony doors had been jimmied open, so we hired the safe.
There is a laundrette available but the two washing machines do not work and the two dryers don't get hot!
The communal toilets on the reception area, have no soap at all. The hand dryers have no power supply so you have to dry your hands using toilet paper.
FOOD arrrrrgh it's grim
The bacon looks like its cooked with gravy
The plates are unclean along with the cutlery.
The tea and coffee machine tastes awful.
Anyway stayed her for 4 days and never slept through the night due to noise
Will never ever go to Spain again

what a brill holiday, food was sound , i defy even the fussiest of eaters , there is somthing for every one, positioned on a hill just outside main resort of salou, there is a village with bars and shops close by, the best bar by far is route 66, we were really made welcome there by the evening staff sue and ellie, its a shame that alot of allinclusive guests dont leave the hotel and venture into the smaller bars , the staff at the molinos park are fantastic polite and helpfull, and every hotel should have a sandra, (what a lovely lady,) i can only say the people who leave the bad reports they must expect 5star treatment for 1star wallets, we would like to say a big THANK YOU, to all the staff at the molinos park for there 100% comittment and very hard work, we dont think you can beat the h-top chain ,

Room Tip: most rooms havea sea view , i would say its prob quieter at the back of the hotel,

got back from molinos park on the 25th october went with hubby ,14year old son and 8year old daughter and parents age 66 and 67, well clean reception area staff grumpy, bar area clean smallish would;nt want to be there in august with only that one bar of a evening ques would be mad, bar staff nice and happy you can get two drinks per person .pool area not bad, tables that go with the sun beds were filthy never sceen anyone clean any of the area, lots of flys but there around most places, food was same sort of food all week chicken, beef, fish which mine most of the week was warmish not hot lots of chips chips chips, most was gribble and greasy but a few times if we got there the right time there were chunky chips, which now we are all fed up with chips lol . boiled potatoes quite nice, carrots sprouts green beans most of the week n a veg soup, the one night there was chicken soup it looked liked melted butter yuck!.there was a nice selction of sweet if you enjoy your cakes etc, fruit around pineapple at time was rock hard but always other fruit there and also plenty salad around some of it at times looked like it sceen better days like the onion with hair in it but happens i surpose, i was the only one in our group to have a upset tummy while staying there but if i ate out i was fine so something didnt agree with me but the rest of my family were fine thankfully. didnt enjoy the entertainment, couldnt here the bingo one night thew the staff messing around, so just didnt bother again think there attatude was seasons nearly over, lol they were nice thow. rooms were diffently not spaceous three single beds push together dressing table basics and have sceen better days but ok for getting your head down not getting much sleep thow as it was very nosey at night, one night got woke up by a man banging like mad on the fire ecape door to get in he said he was locked out ,frighted my little girl to bits could;nt get her back to sleep, walls was so thin, we had a lould heavy snorer next door to us omg not much sleep all week dnt no how the others shearing the room coped it was bad, stayed in a h top hotel in costa brava 5years ago should of exceped what i got, not for me if i was to go in anymore h top places again it would have to be 4 *, but you get what you pay for so for the price it was good , love salou next year will def go back but try and get a hotel in the town centre, went to the red lion pud that was lovley and lunatics great food and lovley people, lovley beaches, lovley place most of the reveiws i have read are all about the same, if you like cheep cheerful, cheep beer not fussy about food or much sleep, med size pool only one bar which you can have your children with you go for it,and you will enjoy, i think its a better hotel for adults on partys like there was a group there on the 30th they were lovley having good fun with great consideration for other holiday makers they were great. there was a couple of lady;s there who tryed to calls aurguments with anyone they could try to one was always looking in the mirror thinking she was something she wasnt, the other ladys son swore at another family man and told his mum he didnt but he did we heard it but wasnt getting involed lifes to sort and we wanted to enjoy our holiday what you work hard for, when they left the atmospher was so much better, the party group didn;t put up with there rubbish good on you party group you all were a credit to decent adults that want to go abroad and have fun and cause no bother to any other holiday makers. this hotel would be better for stag ,hen ,adult groups, . this is just my point of view i have been lucky to have lots of holidays this hotel was;nt my cup of tea, but im glad in the other reviews they did , and some other people we spoke to said it was there 3rd time there so each to there own.

Room Tip: i think there all the same we were on 4th floor very noisey

My husband and I stayed in the H Top Molinos Park in May. We had stayed all inclusive in Turkey last year and it was auful there so we were not sure about it this year but for the price we said we would book it and if we had to eat out it would be ok so we booked it. Well it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. The Molinos is not a 4* Hotel but they are a very good 3*. The food was excellent and plenty of it for breakfast lunch and evening meal. You are given a card with your photo on it and you give it in at the bar when you want a drink there is a coffee and tea machine there all day. There is two pools one on ground floor and one on the roof top which is only for adults which is lovely and there you can relax have a coffee tea or a drink as there is a bar on top of the roof. It does get well packed there so go up early to get a bed.
The bed rooms are spacious a little dated but clean and they are changed in the week and towels changed. The staff are very nice and helpful. Cap Salou is a quiet area so if you like the night life Cap Salou is not for you. The Hoelt has entertainment but it is not great but ok. There is a beach area close to the Hotel which is nice it is small. There are coves here and there along the sea front. You can get a bus right out side the Hotel to get into salou or you can walk it , it is a nice walk. We will be going back next year all going well.
