rooms are very spacious but very dated, good enterainment but venue needs updating too much like a café, on the plus side nice friendly staff that worked very hard and the food I can honestly say is the best we've ever had in an al inclusive hotel for the food alone I would rate this hotel as a 4 star and would return if it was refurbished, met some lovely people specially ken and ginny from skeggy, ginny if you read this review add me on facebook, shirley duffy, would love to hear from you.

Thank you for your honest opinion of the hotel, and apologies you felt the hotel could do with a little bit of updating; this will most certainly be addressed and considered on the next meetings. The festival Village is up and coming in the all inclusive market been one of the only hotels to offer apartments with all inclusive giving families the best of both worlds.
I am glad that you still enjoyed the hotel and found the food to be one of the best you have had on an all inclusive holiday, this is much appreciated.
Thank you once again and will hopefully see you again in the future

Just had a fantastic end of season week at the Festival Village 20 - 27th October. Why some people leave negative comments is totally beyond me. They are obviously scared of saying something at the time and use this site as a way of airing their views.

We arrived at 2pm on the 20th to a rally nice welcome. Check in was speedy and everything was explained to us. The lady at the desk said we could grab some lunch as the dinning room was open until 2.30pm or we could have snacks in the bar.

Had our food which was fabulous plenty to eat and plenty of choice for all the family. This never changed throughout the holiday and the menu was varied every day.

Went to our room which was fabulous very spacious, very clean and located in block C5 ground floor opposite the pool. My only bad point is the beds where very uncomfortable, which we let the management know.

The weather was fantastic with only one late evening of rain.

The entertainments team where awesome with a full programme going throughout the day. The shows they put on where great. Had some fab nights. Halloween Night, Tom Jones Night and Abba Night to name but a few. A special mention must go to Michael who was fantastic and full of enthusiasm for everything he does. He makes everyone feel comfortable and gets you doing things you'd never thought you would do. He treated everyone the same from 3 to 93.
Our youngest son (4) is disabled and Michael made a fuss of him and took him to the children's club, had him up dancing and joining in with everything. He made it truly memorable for us.

Our two older sons (who we saw little of) where either in the pool, playing killer pool or joining in with other activities.

The staff where great and always seemed to go that extra mile to ensure your stay was pleasant.

A bit out of town so we used to jump the bus into Salou, this was never a problem as they stop outside the hotel and run very regularly.

Would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: The ground floor rooms are large and have sun all day. They have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Easy access and great for keeping an eye on the kids if they are swimming

Thank you for your review and glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed your time here with us. The hotel tries to ensure that everyone is kept entertained throughout their stay. Thank you for your comments with regards to the entertainment, also I am pleased you enjoyed the food we offered whilst here with us.
The staffs do work very hard to ensure you have a good time and will always do their best to resolve any issues whilst you are here with us as we like to be very hands on and cannot resolve issues we are unaware of.

Thank you once again for your comments and look forward to seeing you again in the future

Just got back from our holiday at the Festival Village Hotel, we were the last guests of the season, we did think this may affect the service we received, but seriously we could not fault this hotel.

Our room was massive, 2 bedroomed, 2 bathroomed and cleaned every single day without fail, beds made and towells changed every day, the maids were faultless and very trustworthy.

We have quite a few fussy eaters in our family and every one of us managed to find something to eat at the all inclusive buffet. There was a good variety of food to choose from and every day had a different selection. Breakfasts were a choice of full English and continental with hot and cold drinks. Lunch and Evening Meals had a selection of salads, hot mains and puddings. The snack bar was open most of the day serving burgers, hot dogs, toasties, chips etc. The dining room staff and chefs, again were faultless.

The entertainment (RJP Entertainment) was on throughout the day with kids club, killer pool, darts, bingo and water polo etc. At night there was kids entertainment, a family show and then adult games during the later evening. There was also a free taxi to a club in Salou for those who wanted to carry on the partying.

On the last day, even though check out was at 11am, we were still allowed to use the facilities and eat and drink as much as we liked until we were picked up at 4.30pm, which I think was really kind, as not all hotels would offer this service.

I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you so much to all at the Festival Village for making our holiday so special.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 702, close enough to the pool but far enough away so we didnt hear any noise.

Spent a week at the festival village 20/10/13 to 27/10/13'
Had a great time , the food and entertainment were top class considering g this is a small hotel.
We would certainly recommend it for couples and families.
My husband and I are in our sixties and we had our daughter who is in her forties and all had a great time
Certainly will be back again.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor with a pool view and found this was very good

Stayed at the festival Village with family for a week at the end of the season. The manager and staff team were great, always cheerful and helpful. Plenty of entertainment, my only criticism would be that the evening singer's only preform for an hour and you have to wait until 10pm. Two sets over the evening would be better.
The buffet was faultless always well stocked with something for everyone.
