Really clean hotel, great pool, amazing location. Rooftop Jacuzzi was great for couples who wanted some relaxation away from the kiddies pool!

We stayed for two days and had a car. The half pension was great variety , rooms more than adequate and the place quite lively even a bit outside the season. With car it is 5 minutes to Salou . If you plan to walk thought it is a bit further from the action. All in ll thorougky recommended , esepcially with the rates we've got from their own site.

we travelled to this hotel independently for 4 days and got a great deal for the time of year, we went with another couple for the raliegh, we went half board. Check in was quick and easy, our rooms were facing the pool, and were great, (stayed in 5 star and the rooms were camparable). very clean, and quiet, got a good nights sleep as the curtains were black out. Due to time of year, and the end of the season, everything localy was closed, but salou was still open but again quiet, we had a car to get around but did get bus, and was a great service, quick and easy. Food at hotel was a good standard, particularly liked breakfast, we ate evening meal at hotel twice and ate out twice. The evening meal was fine. All in all it was a great base for our short stay, I wouldnt want to spend a fortnight here as my main holiday, but it was a great base, at a great price, and a very good standard, we will be back same time next year, and this time we are going to go to the theme park which we have not done as yet.

Just returned from a good 7 days at the H10 med village. On arrival we were disappointed to learn that we would have to wait to check in (which was a 2 hour wait) but this was ok as we just put our luggage into the allocated room and went for a wander. When we got our room key we were diappointed to learn that we had been given quite a poor room, we had requested before flying out that we were given a low floor pool view but we were alloacated a 3rd floor wall view, we went and complaind to be given another room on the second floor that was worse!!! We were eventually given a better room on the 3rd floor and this was indeed a pool view. The staff were very helpful even though we were complaining. We had gone self catering but upgraded the second night to Half board as it was just over 200 euros for 2 adults and 2 kids for the week which we thought was really good. The selection of food was really good most nights and the breaffast was excellent, My kids who are 11 and 6 really enjoyed the big selection and the choice of desserts. We didnt hang around the hotel much during the day as we were at the theme park which was excellent. The outside pool could do with warming in October as i wouldnt let my kids go in as was freezing we also had a baby with us so too cold for her but the indoor pool was good. The entertainment in the hotel was the same nearly every night up until 10pm when there was quite good entertainment on but with young kids we missed a lot of this. All in all we had a good holiday and would go to this hotel again, the only downside we thought is that the rooms are a little dated and could do with a makeover.

I have just returned from the H10 Mediterranean village in Cap Salou. Having read previous bad reviews I was a little apprehensive but it turns out that this apprehension was unfounded.
We were self catering with our 6 year old son. Our first impression was that the hotel reception and grounds were extremely clean. We arrived at around midday and had to wait until 2pm for our room to be ready. There is a room to store your luggage. I would recommend that if you want in to your room at 2pm that you arrive back at reception prior to this time as a big queue forms at this time to obtain keys. Self catering guests must also pay a £60 or 60 euro deposit which MUST be paid in cash so ensure you have this with you as they will not accept payment by card.
Our apartment although slightly dated was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. The room was cleaned every day. Bed linen changed once and the towels changed twice during the week.
One thing that we did not expect was when we walked into Cap Salou to find that every restaurant and bar was shut due to it being the end of the season. There is however a small supermarket and bar in the hotel next door which was better priced than the H10 supermarket. If you need a lot of shopping there are bigger and cheaper supermarkets in Salou.
The bus service into Salou is great, there is a stop just outside the hotel and we never waited more than 5 mins for a bus. Only a 5 mins. journey in to Salou.
Salou itself was also quiet due to the time of year but everything seemed open. It was actually pleasant to wander around without the usual high season swarms of people.
We actually ate in the H10 restaurant most nights. We found this good every night with a varied choice of fish, meat and pasta dishes. The dessert selection is also great. There is a seperate buffet for the kids.
We found the hotel bar prices ok. 2.90 euro for a beer and 2.00 euro for a glass of house wine. A bottle of wine was 8.90 euro.
The activities for the kids are fantastic. The team of hotel entertainers are great. There are activities available from 1030 - 1230 and 1500 - 1700. There is a also a mini disco every night.
The only negative I can think of was that the outdoor pools were absolutely freezing however there is an indoor pool which is warm.
The sun shone every day but it was a bit fresh in the morning and at night.
All in all I would recommend this hotel at this time of year if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty for the kids.

me and my partner stayed for one week in September as a first time abroad holiday and had nothing to compare it with. was a bit worried at first as some reports had not been too kind but found that the hotel more than surpassed any expectations. perfect location for a couple that had left children behind although many people had taken young children with them and also had a great time. clean well staffed exellent choice of food even for a picky person like myself, entertainment was very good for families and light hearted people without being too noisey(finished around midnight each night)no fighting for sunbeds etc. and waiters were exellent. also ideal location for sight seeing we visited Salou, Tarragona(a beautifull old town with ample shops and various markets to do any kind of shopping) beautifull buildings and ampitheatre all very easy to access and very reasonably priced.great beaches all around the golden coast loveley weather and very friendly people. I would also highly recomend a day trip to Barcelona with Bus Plana the local bus company easy to book and very cheap only 26 euros each for coach travel tour guide, tickets to Neu Camp and shopping trip in Catellonia old town, brilliant!!!

I went here with my sister, 3 year old son, my friends and their 1 year old daughter. Our rooms were together on the second floor. They were very clean and well looked after. Maid service was very good. We went Half Board and found a great range of dishes for both breakfast and dinner, in a very large dining area. The pool area was great during the day (apart from 1 adult thinking it would be good to topless sunbathe beside the children's pool!). The pool could have been sealed off a little better at night time as the entertainment was in this area. All in all it was a great holiday/. Would recommend it to anyone who didn't want to stay in the hussel bussel of Salou itself. Would go back again in the future and stay here!!
