“Salou golf.”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

Another fantastic golf trip to Salou over for another year. A massive thanks to Paul and Mary and Phil from GOLFSALOU......for making it so memorable. Our third year running and yet again everything ran like clockwork. What an absolute pleasure it was to once again play the superb Greg Norman courses, Lumine hills and Lumine lakes,, and not forgetting "The beast" that is La Griera. La Griera is an absolute must for golf lovers visiting the Costa Dorada. We've already booked again for September 2014. Can't wait!

“Golf review”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

Played the Lakes and Hills courses in September 2013 on a golfing holiday with friends (all relatively high handicappers) and both courses were in excellent condition, with manicured fairways and fast, true greens. Both courses were also a good test of golf off the yellow tees with quite a variety of holes, and there were several longer tees available for more accomplished golfers. Though not essential, I would recommend buggies on both courses as there are several long walks between holes. Both clubhouses were also excellent and there were good practice facilities at both locations. The staff on both courses were very pleasant and extremely helpful, which really added to the experience and as a result our group are considering returning next year. Overall I would certainly recommend Lumine golf as an ideal venue for a golf holiday

“Relaxing beach club.”
Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

We purchased our tickets for the beach club before leaving the UK and they were on BOGOF so for £32 for a family of four was good value.
We visited the club about five years ago when it was part of the Port Aventura resort and its starting to look a little shabby around the edges. The seven pools that were open when we visited were chilly but bearable. It's a quiet relief from the theme park and the beach here is smaller, quieter and nicer than Salou which isn't our cup of tea.
Prices for drinks and snacks here are high, a very small slush puppie was almost four Euros. Kids loved all the different pools of different depths.
Worth a visit if you get a good price ticket.

“Impressed”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Played the Hills & Lakes course over the last few days on a golfing holiday with friends and was impressed. The Hills course was in better condition then the Lakes course, although we were told the courses had undergone a tidy up in recent weeks.

Hills course is a good testing course but you will need a buggie if the clubhouse is closed which it is at various times of the year, took a good ten minutes to drive up there from the Lakes clubhouse. Fairways and greens were in really good condition and is a real test for any golfer which some tight fairways.

Lakes course was a little easier but still provided a test to any golfer as there was water on a good few holes and alot of bunkers around the greens.

The staff at the course clubhouse were very attentive in making sure everything went smoothly for us, driving range and balls free to use before you play and buggies come with cooler boxes for your beers & water. You can also leave your clubs there in a secure locker as we were staying ten minutes away come in very handy.

All in all would go back worth a visit

“Three golf courses with differend sceneries”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

The Lumine Lakes and Hills courses are situated 10 minutes car ride from Salou city. There is also a 9-hole Ruins course which we did not play. Nice club houses with good bars and restaurants. Good service in the training areas where attentive staff brings you new balls the whole time. Driving ranges, putting greens and bunkers give you plenty of training opportunities.

Golf buggy is almost a must on Hills course, which is very hilly, just as the name says. Lakes course is flatter, winding through wetlands and sometimes gives you a view of the nearby petrochemical plant. The Hills course is much more entertaining and exciting.
