Well, I'm from Birmingham, and didn't think we could get a good tasting meal. But we were proven wrong.
The restaurant is not far from the Plana bus shop opposite the Salou Park. Just around the corner from the Burger King has a Red sign, and normally there is a guy outside wecoming you in.
The setting is good with Hindi/Punjabi music on the TV and the walls decorated with scenes from Punjabi Culture. Masala Restaurant had already set the scene.
For starters we had paneer pakore and samosa. Was very good and tasted authentic.
I asked for a Lamb Dish but this was not available. Not to worry - I went with the
Chicken Bhuna and asked for it to be spicy. My wife had the karahi paneer also spicy. The food was great full of flavour and my Indian wife commented on how it tasted just like in India.
The staff very friendly and helpful with advice around the local area in Salou too. Even helped with some milk for my 3 year old gratis. Next time we are there will definately visit again.
