second visit to las arenas, not disappointed. Excellent food quality and variation. Restaurant staff are so slick at getting everyone in and out. Entertainment so so but that is the norm in these spanish hotels.Stayed in room 415 with great sea view , though traffic noise from main road may upset some. Some people did not like the queing in line for food, hot and cold one que only. But hey were Brits and used to this, did not take long to get through it and food well worth the wait.
Will be coming back again soon, weather could have been better, but hey ho.

Room Tip: If you do not mind road noise get a room from 415-429, 515 - 529 0r one on 6th floor views are excel...

lets get the bad bit out the way then it gets better.flight transfer etc. first class.but when we arrive at the hotel we stop in a bus stop about 120 mts from the hotel.i asked the courier how i get my 2 cases +2 hand bags to the hotel.do they have a steward to help or a trolly.no! was the reply you carry them yourselves.entering the hotel we felt slightly better it was lovely.booking in was a fiasco to many people trying to get sorted by 2 staff.the wife and i decided to go out side, and wait bad move, when we booked in we were put on first floor ,next to the pool they said.well we were almost under it looking at the boiler room or something.any way after some serious complaing we were moved to the fith floor over the pool.the next day.we settled in and after breakfast (exellent) we went for a mooch!! what a fab position, right opposite the beach, buses running up and down going to torrelominos, malaga, fuengirola and futher if you want.our farvorite was mijas. here is a secret tip!! the cost of the bus for these trips 1euero 60 .per person. if you go into estanco tobbaco shopyou can buy a card for as much as you want no charge! and with this card the fare is 1euro..we went on a couple of tours ,which were exellent.we didnt go on the free one blancket trip.same as.the place was fabulos the weather was great.the hotel was enjoyable quiet comfortable but i suppose being november the people were mostly retired.entertainment was good, they even had outside games for those who wanted

Room Tip: best rooms are on the left looking at the hotel.if you like sun most of the day.also they have lovel...

Spent a great week at this hotel, the location is ideal if you want to get around the costa. Malaga,Torremolinos,Fuengerola are all near enough to visit.
The bus system is good & frequent & cheap.
The hotel itself is great value for money & the staff are all superb & deal with the usual moaning
tourists who are predominately elderly & English.

The restaurant at first sight resembles a Bupa Care Home but once you get used to the clientel, the service & selection of food is spot on. There is a good choice of local dishes including soup ,starters & main meals in a buffet style. As per usual ,there is a line of over weight people waiting for chips as a lot of dishes are strange to the tourists.

The reception staff are very efficient & handle the tourists with ease.
The rooms are adequate, clean & you can change if there are vacancies. The Housekeeping staff are Brill.
It is a very popular hotel for all the above reasons but it is it's location that is the main factor.
I intend to go back asap.
Most high floor rooms have a view or side sea view with balcony.
Most of the shops & bars are on the left side of the hotel, so cross the road & go left.
The main Supermarket is on the right.

The bigger the Supermarket the cheaper the wine is obviously,so shop around for a good red\white wine which is half UK prices.
A litre of blended Whisky for mixing will cost you 6 euros.
A Rioja 3/4 euros etc;.
A pleasant stay & I would recommend this hotel.
Paulo 9.

Room Tip: Higher floor better view, speak to reception & see if there are any vacant higher floor rooms.

Once again we booked the hotel for our stay and again not dissapointed ffood excellent a good variety and always hot.We stayed in room 515 overlooking swimming pool and a good ocean view our second time in that room the staff in all areas were polite and always had smile the entertainment was really good even the Spanish comedian come magician and singer. The walk along the Marina is a wonderful walk but the weather for most of our stay was not good so i would reccomend the hotel to any person who wanted a break we stayed 8 days but most of the other eople in the hotel was for between 1-to 3 months.

Room Tip: overlooking the pool most odd numbers ours was 515

Just back from a quick week in the sun. Good and bad to say about this, but lets start with this... the hotel was clean, staff pleasant and very helpful. The hotel is ideally placed on the promenade and handy for local restaurants etc. The downside... mostly British people go there, at least 90% of the guests. I am 53, but felt young in comparison to the age group there just now. The only fault with the food was that it was BRITISH in the main, not enough Spanish choices. I could have stayed at home if I wanted a full English breakfast every day!. Don't get me wrong, the food quality was great, just not enough variety. I can understand why some people go to this hotel for weeks, even months over the winter, but I like to go somewhere where English is not the main language in the restaurant and bingo is not classed as entertainment. Would I go back, no, but this was not really my type of holiday. Don't let this put you off if this is what you want, you will enjoy it.

Visited in a few times, usually in Feb. Really good hotel, ultra clean and very friendly staff. Lovely walk of about a good 1/2 mile to the Marina on a traffic free, level promanade, with lots of shops, cafes and resturants on the way;( which continues on to Torromalinas if you want to go further), as well as the beach and sea views. Just behind the Hotel is a lovely park and a little further up the hill is the spanish town center and the railway station. Hotel breakfast and dinner is buffet, with loads of choice to suit all tastes (and diets), beautifully cooked and presented, and as much as you like.
Hotel bar drinks are reasonably priced and the waiter service is excellent. Only thing that stops me giving 5 stars is the walls between the rooms are not really sound proof and if you have noisy neighbours it can be a problem, but is this the hotels fault? Most guest in early Feb seem quite elderly and very quiet.
