Stayed for 7 nights over the Easter weekend. Great location, lovely rooms and wonderful pool terrace with plenty of Sun beds and stunning sea views. Chose this Thomsons Couples hotel (over 18's) after a great experience in Ibiza last year.

Maybe it was the time of year but hotel definitely catered for elderly guests who were in the majority with the entertainment and the whole atmosphere a little too old fashioned for our tastes. Lots of repeat guests and i can understand why. Would definitely return when I'm 20 years older.

Stayed for a week at the beginning of April, had a great deal from Thomsom Holidays. Hotel has had an up-grade since I last stayed, it's very well done. As we were 4 ladies traveling together we requested twin rooms with a sea view, which we got. Beds are so comfertable, and the bathrooms are lovely. Plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner and all good quality.
All the staff are helpful and friendly.
It's great that it an adults hotel, no noisy smalls (children) round the pool. But, one lady I spoke to (holidaying with her sister) commented that she felt a little on show, it didn't bother us.
Joined in the quiz a couple of times in the afternoon, run by the Med Playa guy, which was fun. But didn't take in any of the evening entertainment. We went out, too many local bars to enjoy.
Hotel did seem to be full of the older generation, but that could be down to the time of year.
I would go back if i could get the right deal, but it is quite an expensive hotel.
First european hotel with Tea/Coffe in the room.

We made a last minute decision to go to the Costa Del Sol for a week of our Easter holiday. Our expectations were not high but this hotel was a pleasant surprise! The rooms and public areas were all comfortable and well furnished, the food was the best, both in terms of quality and range that we have experienced in Mediterranean package holiday hotels.
The promenade on the beach side of the hotel provides nice evening strolls and there are several wee bars across the busy main road - best of the lot is "Scruffy Murphy's just across the road.
One word of caution, watch out for pickpockets! The area around the hotel seems to be a Mecca for them, in the course on our one week we witnessed an attempt to pick a woman's pocket as she got off the bus from the airport, a second woman having her purse stolen in a supermarket and we encountered a young man who brushed up against me while pretending to read the bus timetable but then walked off in the opposite direction!

We are back in the Hotel Riviera, we booked a premier room again as we like the full sea view, the room is very comfortable it's 305 slightly smaller than the side which ends with 7 but bathroom bigger and you have a bath which we like, the staff are all so helpful, Josh the resident entertainer is very good and he has a nice singing voice, much better than the resident duo last year I have to say, The food you will always get the moaners, but there is something for everyone, lots of salads you can then go over to show cooking and add freshly cooked chicken, fish, ect, also lots of other dishes, also a microwave to hand if you need it hotter, same goes for breakfast lots of choice and please remember your in Spain, I highly recommend this hotel and will be going back

Room Tip: I always choose a sea view where ever I go.

This hotel is fantastic. it has recently been refurbished and to very high standard, none of the usual refurbishments of just recovering the chairs etc. It is very modern throughout, following the same grey theme. The rooms are very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, which is always a bonus. We booked a premium room and had fantastic full sea view from our 7th floor room and I would highly recommend this option. Other reviewers have recommended not choosing a pool view if you want the afternoon sun and this is true, at this time of year the late sun is very welcome and the pool view rooms are certainly cooler in the afternoon.
All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The bar and restaurant staff are very efficient and very pleasant with many having a lovely smile on their face.
The food is very good, especially breakfast, the freshly made pancakes are delicious. Plenty of sunbeds too, but that could be due to it being early season. The fridge will cost you 3 euros a day, I would have expected this to be free in a hotel of this standard. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Premium rooms are excellent. If this is not your thing ask for a room away from the road, I would no...

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days and wow. My partner & I, thoroughly enjoyed the experience the staff were brilliant, helpful and could not do enough for you.

The hotel had a upbeat feel to it, beautifully decorated and the rooms all I can say is 'Stunning', the bathroom are wet rooms, the beds are queen size and the hotel is situated on the beach front. we stayed half board and I am so glad we did as the food within the eating area was just outstanding, albeit, it is a help yourself buffet, the food is constantly refreshed not left for hours on end, there is also a part of the eating area where chefs cook things from fresh for you.

There is entertainment of an evening if you choose to stay within the hotel, (the hotel bar closes at midnight).

Also, it's a short walk to Benalmadena Marina, and a quick bus ride to Torremolinos, and about a 45/60 minute ride to Marbella, depending on which locate bus you get, thought you can walk up into Benalmadena old town and jump on a train service

I would be VERY happy to stay at this hotel again!!

Room Tip: Try and get either a room facing the pool, or one facing the beach.
