just back from one week stay at Ben Palace Hotel. We had a great time. We travelled with 2 kids. 3yr and 1yr. The entertainment was great for them. We had our breakfast every morning. All you wanted to eat. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, sanua, Hairdressers.
The Hill was big but when you cut through the car park it was fine.. and we had two buggies every nite/It helped work off all the meals out. We went to sea word, marina at nite lovely, Tivoli very good value. not too far from hotel, Over all i would recommend. Another thing dont take a room that is built in the roof as you wont have proper balcony and you wont be able to see. That was my only gripe with my room. Our room was cleaned every day, lots of towels every day. Def recommend and would consider going back.

just got back from staying at belamadena place and I wish I hadn’t of left - the hotel had excellent facilities and the rooms was cleaned everyday which is really good and the maids leave sweets and fresh towels. the staff are friendly and are multi-lingual there is activities on every day from shooting, archery, football, run by a guy called Patrice who is excellent, and had a genuine passion to want you to enjoy the activities put on by the hotel, there’s a steep hill leading to the hotel which is a bit of a killer to walk up but ok going down, I was apprehensive before we left as I read some bad reviews on this hotel, but realised after staying there that some of these people are just professional moaners, and will have a moan even if they were staying at the Ritz, I would go back there without any hesitation.

This hotel if first class. The pool area is spacious and well laid out although someone obviously had a sense of humour when they designed it as it looks from the air like a...well you get the message.

The hill up to the hotel is quite steep and not for the elderly. The bar and outside seating area is first class and there was entertainment every night with facilities for kids during the day.

The food is first rate with plenty of choice

I have just returned after 5 days at Benalmadena Palce. The Hotel it self is very nice and fantastic for families, we were a group of girls on a hen week end was still made to feel very welcome. Unfortunatly the nightlife at the Hotel is very quiet which is a shame as the bar area is very nice and the bar staff very friendly. I would like to clear something about a lovely young bar man called Simon, in a previous review he was slatted for being a bit of a ladies man and leading girls on..... what a load of rubbish!!! He was your typical cheeky chappy who enjoyed a little BANTER with both males and females, if women see banter as flirting then that's their problem not his. Simon has a lovely family and adores them, he was very helpful and made our stay at the hotel enjoyable as did other members of staff. I would definatly visit again with my Husband and three children.

I have just got spent fiive days at this hotel on a hen party. We thoroughly enjoyed what this hotel offered and would not hesitate in visiting here again. The service was fantastic especially the bar staff and the entertainment staff. Looking at the hotel previous reviews I found it unsettling to hear a bad review on the bartender. What a lovely young lad he was and his helpfulness, attitude and beviour was incredible. We all found him to be very friendly and enjoyed the banter we all had together. Thanks for contributing to our fantastic holiday.

We have just returned from the Banalmadena Palace and loved it, already planning on going next year. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment which also had 2 bathrooms which was a great help when there was 5 of you. The apartments were very spacious and were cleaned everyday and provided with a change of towels. The hill to the front of the hotel is very steep but you can use the hotel car park to access the lift and miss out the second part of the hill or use the back entrance where there is a hill, but nowhere near as steep as round the front. The hill at the back leads down to a very cheap and useful supermarket for those who are self catering - the shop saved us a fortune!. We had teenage kids with us but the all round entertainment for all ages of children was very good with something on all the time. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk and highly recomment Bar 76 and an Indian called Nooh Mahal which is about 25 mins walk away. The only downside to this hotel that we could see was that the food and drinks in the bar were expensive - a portion of chips were 4 euros 80 cent and a pint was 3euros 10 cent but happy hour was between 5pm-6pm and 9pm-10pm for drinks where drinks were buy 1 get 1 free. The pool area was clean but felt that too many beds were fitted in. All in all would highly recommend this hotel to everyone unless you had a walking disability.
