We stayed for 1 week at the end of November.
I went with my partner & 5 yr old.

The rooms were lovely and clean & everything you need for self catering. We did a bit of both, we were self catering for the 1st few days then we upgraded to half board.
The food was lovely, there is something for everyone, the chef will cater for all needs.

The hotel kids club was great, Patrice, Sandra & Nadia are lovely. My daughter loved them all and didnt want to go home - i still cant get the kids club t-shirt off her.

It was my birthday while we were there & the staff made sure i had a great day - and i did!

My favourite part was the pilates - Nadia gives an excellent class.

Cant wait to go again.
Jane (Leeds)

Room Tip: Try and get a pool view room. The sun is out there all day.

me and my boyfriend stayed here in september 2012 in a studio apartment for a late summer break. on arrival we found the staff very friendly. they held our luggage as we were too early for check in and offered us a free drink coupon in their bar. when we were able to check in they assisted us with our luggage to our studio on the top floor. we were situated beside the lift and a bit aprehensive about noise from the lift however we were not bothered at all by noise and had a good night sleep each night. the studio which we booked was clean with all the essentials necessary for a self catering holiday. our towels were replaced and the room cleaned each morning. we asked advice from the hotel staff about local attractions and they were very helpful. the facilities at the hotel were very good. we were always able to get 2 sunloungers at the pool side by side no matter what time of day we went. some people have raised the issue of the hill, it was a concern initially however there is an alternative entrance to the hotel which requires your room key (a map of how to find this was on the back of the welcome page) and this is a very liesurely walk as opposed to the hill. we also found that you could access the car park and get the lift to the hotel which cut the hill in half.we were so pleased with our stay we have booked a return holiday in april with family and are very much looking foward to the good service and facilities once again.

We (me, wife and 7 month old son) booked here for a week in January via the web. We got a superb deal and I was a little apprehensive before arriving as the deal seemed too good to be true!

Once arrived though, I realised we'd found a little gem. We had a 1 bed apartment on floor 7. Clean, spacious and all you'd need for a self catering holiday.

The indoor pool was great (certainly not warm enough for outdoor pool in January!) and though we didn't eat in the hotel restaurant, we did have a few snacks in the pool bar and overall it was fine. However, only complaint is almost 5 € for a portion of fries is scandalous!

The staff we encountered were all friendly and went out of their way to ensure you were looked after.

The hotel is up a steep hill, but we'd researched this and were expecting it so was not a problem. The hotel is on the outskirts of Benalmadena and it's aboit a 20 min walk to the main area of bars, restaurants and shops. However there is a large supermarket a 2 minute walk from the hotel for essentials . We had hired a car and there was ample free parking outside for all but 1 day.

We'd definitely return to bith the hotel and the resort. Very happy.

Cannot believe anyone rates highly this dreadful hotel/kids holiday camp.
Screaming kids everywhere. Pool totally out of bounds for adults due to the area being over run with kids running round screaming like lunatics. They are in the gym, in the restaurants, no parents in sight.

Awful place, laid out like a rabbit warren. We checked out two days early after yet another boring evening meal. No way four star.

Room Tip: Don't go there.

Food is excellent and such a choice, they even had prawns!.
everything was fresh and prepared with expertise, the chefs were helpful also.
Rooms were kept spotless, all in all we would definately return.

Room Tip: Try to get a top floor room, as you always come across someone in the room above dragging furniture...

We stayed at Benelmadena Palace for 2 weeks in August 2008 , on our arrival to reception we were told that the manager of the hotel had upgraded us for free as it was our honeymoon , when we entered room there was a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne on ice , courtesy of Management ,
" The Hill " that everyone moans about can be avoided by simply using your pass card to gain pedestrian access to the underground car park then use lift up to your floor ! "Easy"
The staff were very friendly and nothing seemed to be any trouble , even when one of our twins was sick in her bed at 3am , we phoned down for new bedding and within 5 mins a maid and security guard cleaned it up changed bedding and even took our daughters pj,s and washed them and returned them midday when cleaning the room !
I was very impressed with the facilities , and staff come round pool side with free slices of melon to cool you down ,
I also noticed the hotel has its own doctors practice with an English speaking doctor ,
I would recommend this hotel to anyone !!!
