I am staying at the Sunset Beach at the moment and I could not fault it. I am wheelchair bound and I find the staff could not be any more accommodating or polite.

I am happily here for a month and weather wise so far it's great. Every day has been like a nice early summer days in Ireland (when we are lucky). The view over the pool and the sea is wonderful and the food in the Oasis is really good, the night entertainment is also top quality. Overall we are very happy campers and will come back!

Room Tip: Room 533 has a lovely view. Right now I am watching dolphins play and swallows buzzing around.....bl...

We have a timeshare here and enjoy a few weeks every year. This is a well run lively hotel with great staff and a good programme of entertainment. The restaurant is open to nom residents and has a dish of the day or you can choose from the a la carte.
Parking is free at the back of the hotel and there is also secure underground parking if you don't mind paying.
The hotel has a sports club, a well stocked shop and free wifi in the public areas. All in all a great centre for a holiday to suit all ages.

Arrived about 1100 and was able to check in immediately. We had apartment 239 overlooking the pool bar and swimming pool. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a separate bedroom with sliding doors.Tv with English channels, the kitchen was equiped with fridge, oven and 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster microwave and coffee maker. There was a fair sized balcony with table and chairs. There is also an iron and ironing board. As we were in a timeshare apartment there was a 20 Euro charge for electric. Pool towels were available to rent, one of the pools was heated but being January we didn't try it. The bar/lounge on the 6th floor had Happy hour from 1830 to 1930 two drinks for the price of one. Entertainment was in the restaurant on floor 1. There was a turn on every night and the ones we went in to watch were good.
We did not try the restaurant as we considered it a bit expensive but there were quite a lot of people using it and the plates were going back empty so it must be good. The onsite supermarket is well equiped with a good choice if slightly dearer than in the town. If you want to eat out ther are numerous bars and restaurants within a 10/20 mins walk. Would reccomend Twenty Seven and Horizon for English food and Oriental Palace 2 for Chinese.
All taken into consideration this is a clean, comfortable complex. Beds were harder than we have at home but very comfortable. We had room 239 which was quiet but would imagine that it would be very noisy in season as it overlooked the pool bar. We will certainly go again

Room Tip: 239 overlooks the poolbar and was quiet at this time of year but would think it would be noisy in se...

we stayed at this lovely hotel from 27th january and the weather was fabulous.we left frost and rain and met glorious sunshine and warmth until we left. arriving at malaga airport we went directly to the bus kiosk and purchased tickets 3.50 euro to our hotel .the bus stop is situated directly behind the kiosk and the bus leaves hourly. the bus stopped almost directly facing the hotel. we were checked in efficiently and went directly to our apartment where we were delighted with our gorgeous view over the pool and the sea. the apartment was spotless .the kitchen was well furnished with crockery and appliances..the bedroom had twin beds ,very comfortable.the living area had a bed sofa,a table and chairs and a tv with several english channels, there is a large storage room for clothes with iron and board.
the maid service is efficient and unobtrusive.there are computer areas on most floors and free wifi in the public areas,
the nightly entertainment was excellent ,especially ricky lavazza who we saw on two nights.the food in the oasis restaurant is good and reasonably priced with a chef special nightly.
now to my only crititsm, the breakfast,it was hot and tasty ,but i felt that there should have been a little more choice of breads, rolls, and perhaps wheaten breads. the fruit was tinned and what little fresh fruit was available was unappealing. the juice was diluted to the point of tasting of nothing in partcular.the beakfast was charged at 9 euro or you could buy 5 breakfasts for 30 euro.this is what we did and it is my only regret. there are many restaurants around which serve breakfast much cheaper.
will i return? no brainer! i will certainly be back and will recommend this lovely hotel to all.

Room Tip: ask for a pool and sea view

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review and for your kind comments about our hotel and facilities.

I’m just sorry that the breakfast buffet was not to your satisfaction. I have made a note of your comments and will be sure to pass this on to out Operations Director for review. Although we can’t always introduce suggestions made by our guests, your feedback certainly helps us to try and offer a breakfast experience which is good quality and value for money.

Thank you once again for your valuable feedback and I look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

If you read any negative reports about this resort/hotel - ignore them. We were completely happy with this establishment. All the staff, without exception, were polite, friendly and only too pleased to help. The accommodation (a small-ish one bedroom apartment) was nicely furnished, a kitchen twith all the fittings you might need. Evening entertainment was provided by some talented individual singer/musicians. In room TV? That's right, there is no escape. However they do receive all 5 popular English language tv channels. Altogether a very enjoyable week.(22-29 January) If a reasonable price can be secured we would love to return for a month's stay next January or February. Perhaps I should contact the hotel direct or their favourite local agent?

Had a great 7 days last July and am going back again in July this year with my 8 year ols son and my mother. Had a great time last year and had no gripes except for the view. Paid for a sea view which we certainly had but we were right above the area where the delivery trucks arrive which spoilt it somewhat. Everything else was fantastic and would recommend this place to any family. The bedroom admittedly is small but then what do you need a big bedroom for.

I'm currently staying here for 2 weeks with my husband. It's the 27th January, and The weather is glorious here. It's our 5th stay here, and we love it. It's immaculate. Staff are so hard working to maintain that, and are pleasant too. It's a lovely walk to the Marina, and also to the park. There is a big market on Fridays, which is well worth a visit. As well as an on site supermarket which is more then adequate, there is also a larger supermarket up the road. A bus service to take you to different places. Or a good taxi services just out side the main door. We will certainly return. We come out of season as it would be too hot for us otherwise. And it's snowing at home. Thank goodness I'm here.

Room Tip: Sea/pool view, but it depends on how much time you want to spend in your room. As the standard is th...
