“Small elegant boutique hotel”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

This was a jewel on the spanish coast and a lovely find for us. I had a short piece of work to do in Gibraltar and we decided to spend a few days in Spain. Booked through last minute.com we were overwhelmed by the hotel. It is a new small boutique hotel set on the coast. On our arrival we were met by courteous staff and once checked in, were given a tour by the manager of the hotel and our room. The rooms are of an excellent standard, well equipped with a fantastic bathroom which in itself was a pleasurable experience. The pool was small but an enjoyable swim and it was bit cool when we went. The breakfast was first class and sitting outside in the early morning was a memorable experience. The only downside was the locality with lots of small cheap tacky restaurants close by which limited your evenings. Food in the hotel in the evening was a little pricy but very enjoyable. The menu did not change often but there was plenty of variety.

Room Tip: All rooms are of a similar quality. Look for a good last minute deal through the internet

We had the most pleasant stay in this Hotel recently. From being upgraded to Superior double room on arrival the 17th of May to the last minute of our departure 7 days later we were fantastically well looked after. The hotel facilities were brilliant; our room was spacious with lovely sea views from the terrace and all the comfort matching the expectations of a five star hotel; the bed and pillows made me sleep like a baby for the first time ever while away!!.The friendliness and professionalism of all staff was second to none. Breakfast each day was well balanced with plenty of choice to satisfy the most demanding palate. Mil gracias en la recepcion a Sara, Rocio, Almedana, Ana, Alfonso por un servicio tan especial. Thanks to Antonio and "el rondeno" for making our meals so especial overlooking the sea. Gracias a Cris y Cristina por ser tan acogedoras en nuestras visitas al Spa y por el fantastico masage de Pindas!!; Thanks to Maria Jose por tantas atenciones. Thanks to all of you whose names I do not remember now pero siempre recordare sus lindas sonrisas. Thanks for everything and carry on making every visit memorable and each guess so special. Be assured we will return. Next time Pablo, we will continue our conversation about Cuba.

Not our first time here and once again it was excellent. The staff made us feel so special, and I love that there wasn't one member of staff that we came across who did not know our daughters name! The service throughout the stay was amazing. The room fantastic with lovely comfy beds for a good sleep. The spa is definitely worth a visit and the breakfast is delicious, with such a wide choice of breakfast options available. The location is great and on your way to the beach you can pick up your towels from the lovely pool area, beach is literally 2 mins down the lift and across the path! A very relaxing stay.
I can't stress enough how great the staff are here, Sara the general manager is fantastic and the hotel is just great.

Room Tip: If you have small children the rooms that open onto the garden are lovely, our daughter loved playin...

This hotel does what it says on the label, it is a Boutique Hotel and Spa. A very small hotel with nicely appointed rooms. The view of the sea was brilliant particularly from the dining room. The self service breakfast was very good but the cooked one was not nearly so good. I suppose it was the Spanish interpretation of "an English Breakfast" Anyway, with the self service it was possible to pick and choose what you liked and not bother with the hot food.

This is an ideal hotel for those who want a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, as even at the end of a week there, the staff still did not recognize us when we went into breakfast. We did feel somewhat invisible and and I'm sure that while that would appeal to some people, personally I do enjoy the good morning greeting no matter what language it is in.

We didn't bother with the restaurant as we like to vary our eating arrangements, and to be honest, I thought that the menu in the hotel looked quite limited. We had a couple of meals in an Indian/Italian restaurant and there were a few other good places nearby.

The Spa was lovely and the arrangement of the balcony quite good as it gave us the full width of the building -- something that would be an advantage in the hot Summer days. The weather was lovely and mild when we were there, so the need for cross drafts was not an issue.

There was no bar in the hotel as far as we could see, but they did serve drinks in the foyer. There was a lovely bar just across the road to the right hand side as you exit the hotel and by the time we went in there the third time we were greeted like old friends. A lovely Spanish bar, and they served good coffee too.

We stayed in this hotel on 23rd of may. We enjoyed all the facilities. Location was also perfect by the coast. The room and balcony were extremely comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Although we had no intention while coming, we wanted to extend our stay however there was no available room. We did not see any deficiency at all during the whole period of our stay and I would advise this hotel to everybody who would like to stay in a smaller town near Malaga and whose budget matches the available quotation on the net. Based on our experience in Vincci Seleccion Aleysa, at the end of our trip we stayed at another Vincci hotel in Malaga without any hesitation.

This hotel is a delightful oasis. We had a duplex room which was amazing. The staff are so helpful and friendly as are the staff in the restaurant.Drinks were reasonably priced and served with a smile.Breakfast was good although the English breakfast was a little bizare with green beans, boiled sausage and mushrooms in a strange sauce so perhaps this could be improved. We would return to this hotel next week if we could!Do visit plaza ole where there are some great bars especially bar ole which I will review separately.
