“Marvellous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2012

To visit the park, don't have any other plans for the day, once there you'll not want to leave it for quite a while! The park is a must for everyone visiting Benalmadena, and the admittance is free. There a beautiful little lake with a lot of birds, swans, ducks and other species, and a large fountain. After a walk around the lake, walk further up, where you among many other things will find rabbits, cocks and pearlhens crossing your path. There are ostriches and mountaingoats and a large playing area for kids.
Various art is placed around, and in the upper part of the park you'll find a cactus park and the local library. In front of this another pond with turtles, swans a.o. There's all kind of palms, bamboo and other exotic trees.
If you are bringing your kids, don't forget to buy some bread to feed the birds.
Have a nice day!

“Great place to go and relax”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2012

Perfect for taking our 1 year old as the park has free roaming animals including chickens/roosters, rabbits and water foul at the lake and some caged animals - we saw emus and goats. the park is nice and large, with a large lake, a cactus area, a small sculpture park, children's play area, 3 café's and plenty of pathways to make for interesting walks/runs. close to the windmill roundabout so a nice getaway from the restaurant touts ;)

“Nice visit, and free!!”

This is a very large park with a few play areas for different ages. There are also some animal enclosures and a very large pond providing a wide variety of wildlife. Various cafe's offer light refreshments at reasonable prices.
