First point!!!!! If you have a car, forget about getting a decent parking space! There isn't one! Parking is on the road mainly and on an extremely steep hill!!
I have good things and bad things to say about this resort. Firstly, when we arrived at the resort and went to check in the receptionist was very rude! No greeting or even a smile and we were told we couldn't check in till 5 which we said was no problem (it was 4pm) and that we would have a drink at the bar to which he said "it was for guests only and we weren't technically guests till after 5" I couldn't believe this response, how petty can you be?? After travelling from 4am in the morning, all we wanted was to sit down and have a drink!!
The location was fairly good but what the website or the resort failed to tell customers is that its at the top of a very steep hill and also many rooms can be up at least 5-6 flights of stairs which for someone with a bad back proved to be very "inconvenient"

The room itself was lovely, can't fault it at all. It was clean and we had everything we needed in the room. The pool was also lovely but the sunbathing area was clearly too small for the resort as we never found a free sun bed around it as everyone seemed to put their towels on the sunbed and clearly gone out which was checked on even though it clearly said this was allowed.

The other, and rather important, problem we found was the reception was closed at 9pm and didn't open till 9am so when we were regularly woken by two seperate rooms making a LOT of noise (giggling, screaming, music etc) there was no one to report it too! We were kept awake till 3 am one night!!!

I think its a shame as the pool was lovely (not the area around it), its in a good location and the club house was great. Great staff, great food and even entertainment on a couple of nights we were there and also a nice room but it was slightly ruined by the rest of the staff there and the noise.

This resort is a jewel of Spain. It's not too crowded and busy. I'm a single parent who went on holiday with my four year old son. The location is fabulous. Truly, there is no need for a rental car. From the resort, you are within 5-10 minutes walking distance of the beach, resturaunts, and shopping! Literally, the beach is right down the street. If you happen to need a taxi, it costs about 5 Euro a trip. The resort is 20 minutes taxi drive from the airport. I recommend Tivoli Amusement Park, the Mijas Water Park, and the Cablecar up to the Malaga Mountains- beautiful views of the city and ocean. The grocery store is on site. I did not like the fact there wasn't internet access or phone in my room, but there is an internet/phone cafe down the street. The resort is set on a hill, so beware of climbing up and down stairs to your suite. We climbed 66 stairs to our suite. Not for the physicaly weak or disabled. I loved the views of the ocean/city from our balcony, the central location, and quiet atmosphere....and very inexpensive too!

Its amazing!, I have been every year scince i was eight years old, and every year just gets better and better. :D Its in a great location, about 5 miniute walk from the sea, and good quality resturants on the sea front, serving freshly caught fish. the resturants range from a wide vararitly of different foods, including italian, chinese, indian, british and of course spanish. My weeks in spain have been so relaxing, laying by the pool reading a book, or taking walk down to the beach. Pueblo Evita has two outdoor swimming pools, one which has a waterfall, and two smaller/shallower outdoor swimming pool for younger children. they have proffessinally trained lifegaurds too. other than relaxing the club also includes much entertainment for the whole family, inlcuding watersports, darts, learning spanish, ping pong, pool (snooker), bowls, golf, high speed internet, colouring, during the day, and in the resurant at night they would have shows, like magic, dancing, quizes which is all good fun. But as i have got older i have started to explore out in the evenings more and going to tivoli world (theme park for all age groups) and bars and clubs. my favourite bar is maracas which is down on the beach and sells all sorts of cocktails, they also do food. Pueblo evita also includes a gym, heated indoor swimming pool, jaccuzi, spa, friendly staff, taxi bookings, tourist information (where to go, best places), cleaning service, dry cleaners, and a resturant. you can check in/out at any time, it has good securtiy (not any one can walk in, as they have gates where you get given a card to swipe if you want to go in and out). The rooms are well kept, and all have fire places, air conditioning, and balconys, T.V, with good channels, cooker, fridge, freezer, kettle, and complimatary coffee, tea, water, sugar, sweetners. Pueblo evita is also right next door to a big super market and pharmacy and post office. I would definitley recomend this hotel! Loved it. :D

I spent a week with a friend through RCI points. We loved our stay at Pueblo Evita. The staff is great, the suites are lovely, and the complex is within walking distance of many amenities including the train station and the beach. There is a great supermarket directly across the street, and the area still retains a bit of Spanish charm. My friend liked it so much she went back again with her mom.
