We stayed here on short notice whilst in Sardinia. Our host Davide was fantastic, genuinely friendly and took care of anything we needed including jump starting our car for us first thing in the morning. The cilla had everything we needed to accomodate our two young children, air conditioning in every room and a fantastic bbq area. The grounds of the villa are beautiful and really is a credit to the owner. Highly recommended, and would definitely consider staying again.
Difficult to find but we were in phone / message contact with the owner Davide and he came to meet us and we followed him to the property.
Stunning views from the house and very well equipped, would be nice to return a bit later in the year, was still a little too cold to sit outside
Excellent swimming pool facility and a good sized barbecue is available to guests.
Davide very kindly left us eggs and vegetables each day.
would definitely recommend as a good place to stay
The house is clean and well appointed but it's the gardens which made this the perfect holiday accommodation, with an immaculate pool offering views across the valley and surrounding hills. The whole family enjoyed night-time swims, even in October. There is a wonderful patio area with stone bbq/oven which we cooked on almost every night. The garden had grape vines, pomegranate trees, quinces and the owner regular provided eggs from his chickens and fruit from the garden during our stay.
Positives- nice spacious villa with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lots of space, with table and chairs at front of villa to eat breakfast. Table and chairs at the back. Fabulous stone bbq outside. Had lots of evenings just burning wood and watching the flames whilst drinking wine and chatting. Lovely pool with lights that come on at night. Its new and great fun. Kids loved jumping in it. 5 sun loungers and chairs to use around the pool. Watched the stars at night from here. Beatiful mountain views from the poool, so tranquil. Loved it. Fruit trees around villa, grapes growing above the bbq. Davide the owner brought eggs and every other day which was very generous. Lots of spare bedding, many towels, great kitchen equipment. Oven, hob, micrrowave really useful.
Peaceful area. Palau had some testaurants, icecream, crepes, touristy shops. Saw tortoise wandering around. Beautiful beaches with clear warm water. One very nearby. Lots to discover.
Negatives- you have to have a car as in the middle of nowhere and just off a main road you cant walk along. Palau is nice but not enough to see after a couple of visits really.
Our stay at Casa Palau was simply amazing! We were 2 families with young children staying there and it was perfect. The location is convenient to central Palau (7 mins by car), yet far enough from the chaos that you can relax in a serene setting. We enjoyed many meals that we prepared ourselves in the well equipped kitchen (using a lot of ingredients that Davide brought us from the farm where the house is situated). The owner Davide was very hospitable and went out of his way to accomodate our needs. It is perfect for families with young children - lots of room to run around outside and enjoy nature.

Four of us stayed at this property for eleven nights and had a great holiday. The house was spacious and well equipped, the owner Davide brought us fresh fruit from the grounds almost daily and also provided us with pizza's upon our arrival, which was quite late. The view from the house was lovely and although a little out of town, great beaches and the shops and restaurants of Palau were easily accessible.
We also ate at Davide and Pina's restaurant which is on a campsite in Palau, and found the food and service to be excellent.
My only complaint would be being woken by the noisy cockerel, and that some of the towels and bed linen were a little dated.
We would definitely stay there again, especially if they put in a pool which they did mention.
Thank you Davide and Pina.
