this may sound a rant but it isn't. just want to make it clear this is not worth going to;avoid.
The apartments (sic) are very poor for the money. 30 years out of date; knocked about; ill equipped; many things not working IE the safe, aircon (useless), light bulbs.
there are no wine glasses - why? There were only four random teaspoons from different services. batteries de cuisine (sic) great if you want to cook moules marinere for 8 otherwise useless.
how people can say breakfast is good astonishes me: stone cold bacon, overcooked sausage, scrambled eggs with brown bits - oh dear. fruit non existent when I went.
The private beach is pleasant but as far as I can tell one must use the sun loungers and pay an exorbitant price for them.
I won't be going back.

If you are a lover of all thing creepy crawly this accommodation is for you. A dozen different creatures shared our room, digested our food and bit us all night long.
The room was not appealing in way. The bed was comfortable.
Beach is lovely , but definitely not private. My advice would be to stay in one of the nearby towns and travel to this beach. The pool is also open for anyone to use, not suitable for non swimmer children.
Bar snacks were cheap and varied. The bar is noisy because the kids club is part of it (Italian only). The daily shows are extremely tiresome.
Hotel staff generally helpful.
Probably better places to stay on the island.

Crowdy residence, really not worth the price. Breakfast is cheap, and noisy , rooms are very medium, very small bathroom ....At this price you can expect other kind of services.!
Only the view on the beach is ok

The room was just adequate, the bathrooms out of date, no hot water, and I had to call maintenance to have the toilet flushing fixed. Apart from that, ok for one night, the view is brilliant, to pool area is fine even if full of kids. Very good breakfast selection and friendly staff

The hotel location is quite isolated with no shops within walking distance but we found the onsite restaurant good value for money and the view was amazing. We arrived an hour early for check in but no problem obtaining a room straight away. The room number 292 was quite a walk with luggage and uphill but nice and quiet away from the main building so we didn't mind too much. It was a one bedroom apartment and better than expected, very clean and well furnished although we didn't use any cooking facilities. The staff were all friendly but especially the waiting staff in the restaurant, they work so very hard in the heat but remain pleasant at all times and the food was always good. I understand the hotel is officially a 3* but if the public rooms were furnished slightly better and the wifi was working I would say it's 4* easily. The hotel private beach is just a few steps from the pool and bars and the sand slopes gradually into the clear sea, perfect for families. The hotel provide sunbeds at a cost of 18 euros for a pair with umbrella for a full day. This is quite expensive but they keep a plan of which sunbeds belong to your room so no one else can have them that day and you can leave and return knowing your beds are free and waiting for you. For the front row my tip is to book them before reception closes the night before, as we learnt at the end of our stay. We didn't use the pool because the beach was so nice. Most visitors were Italian and French and we only met one other English family there. The entertainment was all in Italian and mostly for children but we didn't expect any entertainment so we were not disappointed. Our only criticism about the hotel was that the 'free wifi' was never accessible even though reception said it is if you sit in reception for the agreed 60 minutes a day. However, our teenage daughter couldn't get anything from it in 6 days. All said we would recommend here for a peaceful relaxing holiday and would return.

Room Tip: All rooms appear to be ground level apartments although can be uphill moving away from the public areas.
